One or both of my children have attended Child First Bicester since November 2019, with my youngest currently in preschool. The standard of care for the children is excellent, I have consistently been impressed with the close personal relationships staff have formed with my children and how staff have adapted activities to cater for individual needs or preferences. The environment has always felt safe and nurturing. My eldest was prepped brilliantly for starting school and I am now seeing the same in activities conducted with my youngest. The staff in the room are always warm and friendly, and management staff have my full confidence in their running of the nursery. A variety of additional activities and theme days are frequently run, and a great connection formed with parents by running regular drop-in sessions or activities for parents to attend. I have happily recommended the nursery to others and will continue to do so.

Our daughter has been at Child First Bicester from August 2024 and we could not have been happier with the care and support she has had. The staff accommodated everything that was important to us with her care, giving her breast milk, using reusable nappies we provided, and comprehensively managing her dietary requirements. We love receiving the updates and photos while we are at work, knowing that she is having fun with her friends and developing new skills. Picking her up at the end of the day is always a highlight, as we get positive and detailed updates from the staff, who are always kind and considerate. The rooms are clean, thoughtfully managed, and provide constant access to quality outdoor space. We have made good friends there and would recommend the nursery to anyone.

All three of my children have attended this nursery over the span of a decade. The oldest is now 12. My youngest has just finished for the summer. I can honestly say that all of my children had a wonderful experience here and were always really happy. There are a lot of staff who are still there 10 years after my first child attended so it's lovely to have had that consistency and to know they've worked there a long time and know what they are doing. Staff have always been kind, polite and helpful. My youngest had a lot of health issues when born but was well looked after when he started nursery and this helped me to get back into work with minimal worry. I would recommend this nursery to others based on my children's experiences and happiness. Thank you for everything Child First Bicester

Our experience at Child First has been really accommodating. They are all really lovely & will go out there way to make sure everything they do is the best for my little boy. Especially when it came down to food alternatives, as my boy is very limited, but they have been so accommodating.

All four of my children have attended this nursery over the past 11 years and we cannot praise them highly enough. Two of my children have additional needs and one of these had struggled at a nursery in another town and then never had a problem at Child First. Staff are highly trained and the retention of staff shows that they support everyone there. The children are genuinely valued and have access to a huge variety of activities and opportunities. A wonderful nursery.

This nursery is truly exceptional, and the staff are absolutely incredible. Our little one has thrived here for over a year, receiving amazing support and genuinely loving his time at nursery each day. We wholeheartedly recommend this nursery; you won't be disappointed.

My daughter has been going to Child First in Bicester for just over a year and the experience has been nothing short of fantastic! I was very nervous when her settling in days came around but I was very quickly put at ease by the fantastic team. Since moving up rooms recently I have noticed her development as a whole improve drastically. All key workers/ room leaders have been amazing - It's very reassuring as a working mum knowing that she is happy and safe at nursery! I must admit I was very worried initially, and was concerned I wasn't making the correct choice sending my daughter to nursery - I couldn't have been anymore wrong! Thank you Child First Bicester for helping giving my daughter the best possible start to life!

My daughter loves going to nursery. She's really well settled and has developed a lot since being at Child First. The team there are really lovely and trained well. They look after each child with care and compassion. Teaching each child in a caring and considerate manner. My daughter has learnt a lot at Child First. They go through a variety of activities and learning. Also support with potty training and preparing each child ready for school.

Excellent nursery, supportive and enthusiastic team of staff. Children are (and have always) been happy to attend. They encourage and develop the children well and always listen to any concerns. I always recommend.

My eldest child has just left to go to school and I had no worries about him going. He was given a great foundation for Reception through structured activities and maths and literacy sessions. He had a great bond with his key person and still wants to see them when we do the nursery run with my youngest. I had no hesitations in sending my youngest to start at Child First over a year ago and his social skills and language have gone from strength to strength in his settings. A quick summary at handover gives me an understanding of what has happened in the day and the online portal indicates meals eaten and some observations are often recorded here which is really great to see.

I have only had positive experiences with the staff at Child First Bicester. We've had great support with our two year old who is potty training and dropping her day nap. Daily feedback is spot on and she is almost there after an earlier false start. Our first daughter likes to say hi to the office staff when we pickup her younger sister. I feel it has been a smooth transition with the change of management.

We have had two children go through Child First Bicester and been so happy sending them there. Team are warm and friendly, the children do such wide ranging activities (usual craft, outside play, to dance class and Rugby Tots). My children are very different characters but Child First have nurtured them both brilliantly and we are very pleased we chose this nursery.

Absolutely amazing nursery, the staff are very personable and friendly, and they care for my little one incredibly well, she has a metabolic condition and they have done everything possible to understand it and work with us at home to ensure they get everything right. The chef is incredible and goes above and beyond to cater for all children and even those with specific dietary and medical problems. Their communication is fantastic and we are very happy with the nursery. I wouldn't want my little one being in the care of anyone else now

My son started at Child First in 2020 when covid restrictions were still very high so it was a worrying time sending him to nursery. The staff were amazing and I was instantly reassured that he was in safe hands. He has now worked his way through all of the rooms and he has been happy and settled in all of them. All of the staff are so caring and understanding and take the time to get to know all of the children. They have been quick to respond to any queries I have had and build good relationships with parents as well as the children. My son will be starting school soon and I feel that he has been given such a good foundation for this through the variety of activities and preparation provided by the staff both in learning and socialising skills.

It was very difficult for me to leave my little baby boy at a nursery, and after looking around I felt reassured by the manager of Child First Bicester. The team has been fabulous in answering my questions and emails immediately and in an incredible manner. They have gone beyond and above helping my son. I did dread leaving my son at first with strangers, but can say that I needed not have worried as they have been incredible with my son. His room leader is amazing, and all the staff is friendly and accommodating. My son has definitely bonded with his key worker and every day I receive reports of all his activities as well as healthy and varied food.

I cannot recommend Child First Day Nursery highly enough. When looking around, I felt instantly reassured by the manager - who genuinely cares about the children and their wellbeing. She could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable and answered my questions and alleviated worries. Since registering, the team have been fabulous, answering emails in an incredibly timely manner. I feel they have gone above and beyond to help make arrangements for my daughter starting. This week has been settling-in sessions and like most parents I have been dreading the thought of leaving my child with a stranger, knowing she may cry. I need not have worried. Her room leader met us on the first day, and like all the staff, she is so friendly and accomodating to all of my requests. My daughter has bonded with a fabulous key worker and every day I have been receiving reports on all the fun activities, as well as the wonderful/healthy and varied food on offer. The end of week summary emails are also great!

Could not be more pleased with Child First Bicester Day Nursery. The staff are so friendly and communication has been great throughout the Covid pandemic. The activities are well planned and our daughter is constantly learning new skills and social skills. The food provided is really varied and a good introduction to new foods and flavours, which we may not normally have at home.

The staff are what makes this nursery! When looking around for nurseries I was recommended a few but upon meeting the manager and now seeing how the staff are with my child and how he responds to them makes me happy to know he’s in good hands and genuinely cared for. The garden is awesome and they’re always doing lots of great activities each week!

It’s been so hard to leave my daughter at nursery after a year of being with her on maternity leave, but the staff at Child First Day Nursery have been exceptional. They are kind, caring and compassionate in their approach whilst recognising the need to be open and honest in their communication. They always make sure she is distracted just after drop off as she finds this hard and settling in has taken time but I feel like she is making progress in her independence and development. They seem to have varied and exciting food choices and encourage my daughter to try new things. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and am really glad I went with my gut instinct when selecting it. My only slight negative is that the car park is currently closed due to Covid and we chose this nursery as it had parking for drop off and pick up. Although there is parking close by this adds time to the process and I’m sure will not be particularly fun in the rain.

10/10! My daughter started Child First Bicester Day Nursery at 18 months old and settled in beautifully. She enjoys going so much. I know she’s eating well there as they provide great meals for her and she loves the outdoor space where there’s lots to explore. I would recommend this nursery to anyone I know. She learns so much every day and always comes home happy. They provide all her nappies and wipes which is a great plus too. I love that I can leave her there and know she’s in completely safe hands and having lots of fun.
