Child First Bicester

It was very difficult for me to leave my little baby boy at a nursery, and after looking around I felt reassured by the manager of Child First Bicester. The team has been fabulous in answering my questions and emails immediately and in an incredible manner. They have gone beyond and above helping my son. I did dread leaving my son at first with strangers, but can say that I needed not have worried as they have been incredible with my son. His room leader is amazing, and all the staff is friendly and accommodating. My son has definitely bonded with his key worker and every day I receive reports of all his activities as well as healthy and varied food.

This week has been settling-in sessions and like most parents I have been dreading the thought of leaving my child with a stranger, knowing she may cry. I need not have worried. Her room leader met us on the first day, and like all the staff, she is so friendly and accomodating to all of my requests. My daughter has bonded with a fabulous key worker and every day I have been receiving reports on all the fun activities, as well as the wonderful/healthy and varied food on offer. The end of week summary emails are also great!

Could not be more pleased with Child First Bicester Day Nursery. The staff are so friendly and communication has been great throughout the Covid pandemic. The activities are well planned and our daughter is constantly learning new skills and social skills. The food provided is really varied and a good introduction to new foods and flavours, which we may not normally have at home.

The garden is awesome and they’re always doing lots of great activities each week!

It’s been so hard to leave my daughter at nursery after a year of being with her on maternity leave, but the staff at Child First Day Nursery have been exceptional. They are kind, caring and compassionate in their approach whilst recognising the need to be open and honest in their communication. They always make sure she is distracted just after drop off as she finds this hard and settling in has taken time but I feel like she is making progress in her independence and development. They seem to have varied and exciting food choices and encourage my daughter to try new things. I cannot recommend this nursery enough and am really glad I went with my gut instinct when selecting it. My only slight negative is that the car park is currently closed due to Covid and we chose this nursery as it had parking for drop off and pick up. Although there is parking close by this adds time to the process and I’m sure will not be particularly fun in the rain.

I love that I can leave her there and know she’s in completely safe hands and having lots of fun.

A brilliant nursery with amazing staff! My 3-year-old went for 2 years and looked forward to going every single day! I would highly recommend Child First Bicester to anyone looking for an outstanding nursery for their child.

Leaving your child at nursery for the first time is very emotional. I will always remember the general manager at Child First giving me a massive hug as I was leaving the nursery in tears when I dropped my son off for the first time. But I had nothing to worry about. My first son loved this nursery, and my second son is loving it too. He goes in happy and leaves happy. The food must also be amazing as both my sons have always eaten well there. I would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are very caring and supportive... And have fun with the kids!!

The staff are friendly and caring, always have a smile of their faces. My son is always happy leaving us and coming home at the end of the day, the staff make it feel like a home from home. The food is amazing and always cooked fresh.

Both of my children are very happy in nursery! I feel like the staff genuinely care about them which makes me feel confident leaving them behind. My younger one has multiple allergies and everyone has been excellent with keeping him well and safe. I couldn’t ask for more!

I have been thrilled with the care my daughter has received since joining Child First. Every member of staff is caring, kind and professional and my daughter is so happy at the nursery. Communication is excellent and the daily information pages are informative and a lovely way to find out about what the children are up to. I am so pleased we chose this nursery for our daughter and would highly recommend it.

Both my children have been here and my youngest is off to school. The nursery have prepared the children so well and loved and looked after them brilliantly. I will miss being part of the nursery and would recommend to anyone!

I have two children attending this nursery and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they have received. They have both thrived in their care, they are both so happy when they arrive. I also very much appreciate the daily information sheets which keep us informed of the activities the kids have been doing during the day. I highly recommend Child First.

Our experience at Child First has been absolutely wonderful. Our son, who is 3.5 years old, started back in November, right in the thick of Covid, and he was welcomed with open arms. The moment we met the nursery manager for our tour, we knew that this was a special place and wanted our son to be there. The staff took a great deal of time getting to know my son and "what makes him tick" and have been able to greatly help as he goes through his toddler phase. We have been beyond thrilled with the daily activities, projects and fabulous meals that he enjoys. My husband always remarks how he wishes the chef at Child First could cook for our family too! When I recently gave birth to my daughter, there was no other place that we wanted her to be than Child First when I had to return to work.

Highly recommended, you wouldn't regret the decision to place your child here.

Nothing but praise for Child First Bicester. The staff are amazing and care so much for the children they look after. They are smiley and welcoming which is fantastic, even more so at the moment! The children have access to lots of various activities throughout the day both inside and outside. They have a chef on-site who cooks the most delicious food! The menu looks amazing and it is adapted for summer and winter. The management team are amazing and really accommodating. 10/10 for the team.

Both of my sons attend Child First Bicester and they (and we!) absolutely love it. The staff are brilliant, not only showing excellent care in very challenging circumstances with Covid risk and measures, but are bringing out the best in our children to give them a great early years foundation before they go into school. The nursery is managed exceptionally well, with great systems and communication in place to make everything tick.

I highly recommend the nursery, they have been fantastic in reacting to Covid 19 and keeping parents well informed through communication updates.
