River View Day Nursery (Hertford)

Both our children have been to River View. It is a brilliant nursery that I have recommended to others. The staff are fantastic, and our children have loved attending River View.

River View Day Nursery (Hertford) is a fantastic nursery, our daughter has settled in very quickly. She really enjoys playing with all the toys and resources. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, they spend a lot of individual time with our daughter which helps her development. The nursery has brilliant facilities including an amazing garden which our daughter loves going in. The nursery uses an app that keeps me updated with photos throughout the day, as well as updates on our child's development. I highly recommend River View Day Nursery (Hertford) for anybody looking to send their child to a nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves River View. She’s been there since she was ten months old and will soon turn eighteen months, and does five days a week.

I was very nervous about sending her at a relatively young age when she wasn’t very mobile or communicative, but the staff put me at ease from the start. There are always activities for her to do, friends to play with and amazing food! She looks forward to going every day and she waves me off without a second look when I drop her off! The ladies who work in her room are absolutely fantastic, I trust them all completely to know what my daughter needs.

The garden is a big plus and the kids get out every day pretty much. I’ve not had one negative experience the whole time and feel so lucky to have chosen River View. I get lovely pictures sent to me throughout the day and details on her eating, sleeping etc when I collect her.

Riverview is truly exceptional and we’ve had a fantastic experience for our baby and our 4 year old. Management couldn’t be more welcoming and thoughtful, staff in both rooms were outstanding and the facilities are great. The staff provide exceptional care and the nursery provides a warm environment. Both my daughters love it there. The facilities and rooms, particularly the new preschool room, provide a fantastic space for children.

After 2 children and 8 continuous years at River View, I have seen first-hand the staff's dedication, care and commitment towards the children and how engaged they are with the kids, as well as with the support they provide. Management takes on board parent's feedback and suggestions, always with a friendly and flexible approach and has continuously invested in staff's development, which is clearly recognised. During the pandemic, communication and safeguarding were always paramount for River View. Management kept both staff and children safe and informed and supported parents throughout, both at nursery and also from home during lockdowns or for those unable to attend. I can't speak highly enough of this childcare setting. Hope they continue to thrive.

The activities and curriculum on offer have enabled my children to thrive giving them such a solid foundation for life.

Both of my children attended River View from the age of 1 until they left to attend reception, with my youngest leaving this August. Both loved their time in the nursery, which is due to the exceptional staff who take the time to build strong bonds with all children in their care. The new separate preschool building is excellent and there is always ample opportunity for the children to be out in the garden and enjoying the various outside spaces.

Thank you! My son is far more prepared for his new transition to primary school because of River View and we will all miss it.

I can't speak highly enough of River View and all of the incredible staff! Both of our children have now graduated from River View, and our experience throughout has been incredibly positive. The teachers are nurturing and loving. I always felt that the feedback given at pick-ups was relevant to our children and their individual personalities. During the pandemic, the management team has been exceptional in their communication, supporting children and parents at every step of the way, always highly responsive and very warm and professional. The facilities are outstanding and the activities are rich and inspiring, particularly in the preschool room where imaginations can run free and kids can be kids! Both of our children are August babies and are the youngest in their now school classes. I can say that River View has prepared them both well, setting strong foundations for the school experience. This is an outstanding nursery, amazing and caring staff with a very engaging and supportive management team!

Our child was extremely shy around new faces when she was little and we have watched her grow in confidence since attending nursery. She is always happy when she leaves for the day and likes to share her memories of the day.

We've had a great experience at River View. The management and communication to parents has been excellent - very responsive and professional, it is reassuring that the team behind the scenes is part of a well-run organisation. Our three-year-old daughter has really enjoyed her time here, lots of different activities and outdoor play whenever possible. The nursery staff have all been positive and friendly, despite the unfortunate situation of having to deal with all of the Covid implications.

I can't speak highly enough of River View and all of the staff. My daughter settled in so quickly and has absolutely loved being there. It was her first proper experience away from home and she grew in confidence so much and was always excited to be going. We went through some difficult family circumstances while my daughter was at the nursery and I was overwhelmed at how kind and supportive the staff have been. I will always be grateful for the amazing start they have given my daughter.

Our child has been at River View Day Nursery (Hertford) for nearly two months now and is so happy there. It's lovely to see him go in confidently each day to his key worker and he always comes out with a smile on his face at the end of the day too. We're really happy we chose this nursery. I'm also delighted to see they have a new chef starting which is great news. I would recommend the River View Day Nursery (Hertford) very confidently to others.

When my son's previous nursery started having problems I knew I had to move him. I had heard very good reports about RV so I called them immediately. I was totally reassured by staff who immediately booked me in for a visit and penciled a start date for the beginning of January 2021. I soon had to move that date to 'as soon as possible' as the previous nursery was no longer open and I was desperate to find the right environment for him. They immediately got to work on seeing what availability they had. I only had to wait 24 hours before I had confirmation he could start a couple of weeks from then. This level of professionalism, warmth, reassurance and quick-moving was an incredibly good sign that the things I'd heard about RV were all correct. My son was allocated the RV SENCO which was fantastic news as my son has the potential of developing differently to other children. I receive constant updates and reassurances that my son is happy and safe. I absolutely love River View.

She looks forward to her days at nursery, and we couldn't be happier.

We find the staff very professional and friendly.

Communication is amazing. Any questions or concerns are answered immediately. Very professional yet still extremely friendly. All staff greet you with a smile on drop off and pick ups. The parent app has been a wonderful tool it really gives you a great insight to our sons day. We are completely over joyed with our decision with river view.

We’re looking forward to bringing our second daughter to you from early next year.
