All 3 of my children have received exceptional care at River View.
The staff team are all child-centred and are dedicated to the happiness and enjoyment of the children.
The activities and curriculum on offer have enabled my children to thrive giving them such a solid foundation for life.

Both of my children attended River View from the age of 1 until they left to attend reception, with my youngest leaving this August. Both loved their time in the nursery, which is due to the exceptional staff who take the time to build strong bonds with all children in their care. The new separate preschool
building is excellent and there is always ample opportunity for the children to be out in the garden and enjoying the various outside spaces.

My son enjoyed 3 wonderful years at River View with support, learning, play, cuddles, care and of course snack and food time! I would highly recommend River View for its facilities, staff and attitude towards caring and early years learning - and their garden is wonderful.

I can't speak highly enough of River View and all of the incredible staff! Both of our children have now graduated from River View, and our experience throughout has been incredibly positive. The teachers are nurturing and loving. I always felt that the feedback given at pick-ups was relevant to our
children and their individual personalities. During the pandemic, the management team has been exceptional in their communication, supporting children and parents at every step of the way, always highly responsive and very warm and professional. The facilities are outstanding and the activities are rich and inspiring, particularly in the preschool room where imaginations can run free and kids can be kids! Both of our children are August babies and are the youngest in their now school classes. I can say that River View has prepared them both well, setting strong foundations for the school experience. This is an outstanding nursery, amazing and caring staff with a very engaging and supportive management team!

Our child was extremely shy around new faces when she was little and we have watched her grow in confidence since attending nursery. She is always happy when she leaves for the day and likes to share her memories of the day.

We've had a great experience at River View. The management and communication to parents has been excellent - very responsive and professional, it is reassuring that the team behind the scenes is part of a well-run organisation. Our three-year-old daughter has really enjoyed her time here, lots of different
activities and outdoor play whenever possible. The nursery staff have all been positive and friendly, despite the unfortunate situation of having to deal with all of the Covid implications.

I can't speak highly enough of River View and all of the staff. My daughter settled in so quickly and has absolutely loved being there. It was her first proper experience away from home and she grew in confidence so much and was always excited to be going. We went through some difficult family circumstances
while my daughter was at the nursery and I was overwhelmed at how kind and supportive the staff have been. I will always be grateful for the amazing start they have given my daughter.

When my son's previous nursery started having problems I knew I had to move him. I had heard very good reports about RV so I called them immediately. I was totally reassured by staff who immediately booked me in for a visit and penciled a start date for the beginning of January 2021. I soon had to move
that date to 'as soon as possible' as the previous nursery was no longer open and I was desperate to find the right environment for him. They immediately got to work on seeing what availability they had. I only had to wait 24 hours before I had confirmation he could start a couple of weeks from then. This level of professionalism, warmth, reassurance and quick-moving was an incredibly good sign that the things I'd heard about RV were all correct. My son was allocated the RV SENCO which was fantastic news as my son has the potential of developing differently to other children. I receive constant updates and reassurances that my son is happy and safe. I absolutely love River View.

As soon as she arrived at Riverview, we were instantly aware of how comfortable she was going to be there and were thrilled she got a space.
The nursery staff were hugely welcoming from our first visit and continue to make not only her but myself and my husband feel like part of the family.
Since
being at Riverview, we have noticed she has come on leaps and bounds and has developed not only her social skills but also her cognitive skills too.
It is so helpful and reassuring to have the daily updates through the parent portal and watch her progress as if we were in the room.
She looks forward to her days at nursery, and we couldn't be happier.

Communication is amazing. Any questions or concerns are answered immediately. Very professional yet still extremely friendly. All staff greet you with a smile on drop off and pick ups. My daughter has been at River View since she was 12 months old. She has just left preschool to start school and we’re all so sad to leave, although of course looking forward to her next chapter.
We cannot thank the staff at River View enough for the love, guidance and support they have shown my daughter
since she started. She has grown so much confidence since starting and the love they have for her is clear.
Thank you so much to all of the nursery staff and key workers of my daughter. She really misses you all and thanks you all for all you have done to take care of her and get her ready for school.
We’re looking forward to bringing our second daughter to you from early next year.

It could not be possible to put into words the love we have for the River View team at Hertford. My daughter has attended River View for the last 2-3 years, and has grown up in both Bumblebees and now preschool. My daughter has gone from strength to strength since attending, her confidence, speaking,
writing, socialising and general personality has really shone through since being there.
The staff ability to get the most out of the children is exceptional, the care and attention they provide could not be better. My daughter has a true love for all staff members who work there, including the amazing teachers in the rooms and the fabulous office staff.
To all the staff at River View, I can not thank you enough, my daughter is due to leave next week and I couldn't be more devastated. We will miss you terribly, and if we do have another child we will be back to visit you without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you.

My toddler is so happy here, he runs in each morning and doesn't look back! He especially loves the brilliant garden.
The staff are excellent, they really nurture the children and always welcome us enthusiastically every morning and evening. They have implemented all the new coronavirus procedures
very efficiently, and the children barely notice.

My son started River View in Nov 2018 and really flourished. He loved all his key workers and the activities that River View provided for him. He is starting a preschool in Sept which is next door to our house so a lot easier for me to do drop off and pick up.

My son absolutely loves River View, the staff and his little friends that he has made. The activities are great, and my son’s vocabulary is outstanding from the work that the staff help with in terms of activity-based learning. I had a lot of support from the staff in terms of toilet training, and we

My children have both been at the nursery since they were three months old. As a first time mother, you worry whether putting them into a nursery is the right thing. After seeing my two children through Riverview, I can honestly say, it was the making of them. Riverview has been the most incredible
home for them both. Their happiness and security is greatly down to everything they invested into them whilst they were there.
They are both confident, happy, independent children and the values and love the staff at the nursery all invested into them is what makes them the children they are today. We will be forever grateful for this foundation.
I never dreamed I would find a place where I never had to worry about leaving them from three months - they never had a day of not wanting to go, and both came each home each day full of happiness. As a family, we will miss the nursery, and remain forever grateful for everything they have done for both my children. I can not rate the nursery or the staff any higher.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2005

Natasha is the Manager of River View Day Nursery in Hertford and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 17 years. Natasha is Level 3 qualified in the Early Years. Natasha has been with Childbase Partnership for a total of 13 years.


What is your favourite feature of River View?
My favourite feature of our nursery is our garden. We have a lovely open space split into three sections for each age group and set out with those ages in mind. We have been growing our own fruits and vegetables in our allotment and it also invites bees and butterflies to our garden.


What are you most proud of about your team/nursery?
I am most proud of how welcoming our setting and team are. Every time we have visitors they always comment on how all of the team will say hello and welcome them into the nursery with a smile. This also means we have a lot of long-standing staff in our setting.
