The setting is registered with Ofsted to welcome up to 95 children and employs a team of qualified professionals who can offer parents the high standards of service they deserve, as well as a learning programme up-to-date with the goals of the Early Years Learning Foundation.

Couldn't be happier with River View. The staff are lovely and very reassuring. My child has settled in extremely well, and the staff have made my return to work that much easier. I would highly recommend this nursery.

River View Day Nursery has been so welcoming. My son enjoys his days here and all the activities each day. The staff are wonderful and friendly - it's joyful to see my child do comfortable and happy each day, even when changing rooms. I would 1005 recommend River View, its facilities and staff.

River View is like a home from home for our daughter, she loves every day, and that is in a huge part down to the excellent staff who have become like family to her and us. River View Day Nursery (Hertford) is a fantastic nursery, our daughter has settled in very quickly. She really enjoys playing with all the toys and resources. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, they spend a lot of individual time with our daughter which helps her development. The nursery has
brilliant facilities including an amazing garden which our daughter loves going in. The nursery uses an app that keeps me updated with photos throughout the day, as well as updates on our child's development. I highly recommend River View Day Nursery (Hertford) for anybody looking to send their child to a nursery.

My daughter absolutely loves River View. She’s been there since she was ten months old and will soon turn eighteen months, and does five days a week.


I was very nervous about sending her at a relatively young age when she wasn’t very mobile or communicative, but the staff put me at ease from the

start. There are always activities for her to do, friends to play with and amazing food! She looks forward to going every day and she waves me off without a second look when I drop her off! The ladies who work in her room are absolutely fantastic, I trust them all completely to know what my daughter needs.


The garden is a big plus and the kids get out every day pretty much. I’ve not had one negative experience the whole time and feel so lucky to have chosen River View. I get lovely pictures sent to me throughout the day and details on her eating, sleeping etc when I collect her.

I have no faults whatsoever with Riverview. Staff are very welcoming, informative, compassionate, caring, and go above and beyond for my child.
Every morning, we are greeted with a warm welcome like we are part of the Riverview family, like one big team.
My son loves his time and is always doing
different activities each day (which Is something that he wouldn't do at home).
The updates on the parent website are amazing. It's nice to see that staff update it regularly so you can see what your child has been up to. Very reassuring.
I'm always kept up to date with events and information by staff, and their communication skills are excellent.
There is a wide range of resources for him and other children to use that we wouldn't normally have at home, which is great for his development.
The food menu has a wide range of different options, and sometimes I wish I was staying for lunch!
I am very happy with everything and can't thank the team enough for what they do. Thank you Riverview.

Riverview is truly exceptional and we’ve had a fantastic experience for our baby and our 4 year old. Management couldn’t be more welcoming and thoughtful, staff in both rooms were outstanding and the facilities are great. Something else I really appreciated was the communication; I’ve always felt informed

Outstanding nursery, with superb facilities and space both indoors and outdoor. No other of its kind in the area!
It's a very happy and safe environment, offering a wide range of activities and resources for the children.
After 2 children and 8 continuous years at River View, I have seen first-hand
the staff's dedication, care and commitment towards the children and how engaged they are with the kids, as well as with the support they provide. Management takes on board parent's feedback and suggestions, always with a friendly and flexible approach and has continuously invested in staff's development, which is clearly recognised. During the pandemic, communication and safeguarding were always paramount for River View. Management kept both staff and children safe and informed and supported parents throughout, both at nursery and also from home during lockdowns or for those unable to attend. I can't speak highly enough of this childcare setting. Hope they continue to thrive.

Natasha Boon

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2005

Natasha is the Manager of River View Day Nursery in Hertford and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for 17 years. Natasha is Level 3 qualified in the Early Years. Natasha has been with Childbase Partnership for a total of 13 years.


What is your favourite feature of River View?
My favourite feature of our nursery is our garden. We have a lovely open space split into three sections for each age group and set out with those ages in mind. We have been growing our own fruits and vegetables in our allotment and it also invites bees and butterflies to our garden.


What are you most proud of about your team/nursery?
I am most proud of how welcoming our setting and team are. Every time we have visitors they always comment on how all of the team will say hello and welcome them into the nursery with a smile. This also means we have a lot of long-standing staff in our setting.
