River View Day Nursery (Hertford)

Our boys are loving their time at River View. All the staff have been very welcoming from the beginning, making sure the boys feel settled every morning through to keeping us up to date with what they've been doing. They come home tired but excited about the day they've had and always seem to be doing a variety of activities to keep them entertained. The food menu is varied and healthy and the garden area gives a large additional space on dry days which both boys love spending time in.

We were originally attracted to River View Day Nursery by the quality of the facilities and the huge garden in which the children can play. Our daughter has been attending River View for about 18 months on a full-time basis and we were not surprised to find that the quality of care and interest in the children is of equal merit to the facilities. Staff have a genuine interest and understanding in each child's needs and development and are always happy to discuss any element of the child's care or routine.

We particularly remember the fantastic support we received in the first few weeks when our daughter started attending River View nursery. Staff in the Caterpillar room consulted with us regularly to ensure that our daughter's routine at the nursery would be as familiar to her as possible and we regularly discussed any desired changes to her weaning or sleep routines over the following months.

We would have no hesitation in recommending River View, our daughter loves it.

Knowing my daughter is in safe hands makes me feel a lot more confident during my day to day work routine. They are truly fantastic.

River View provides a wonderful learning setting for my son. He only attends 2 sessions but loves attending them. He has become very confident and his learning development has progressed brilliantly. We are so happy we have placed our son at River View.

lovely staff and really nice, clean nursery. My daughter struggled to settle in due to leaving friends at another nursery (moving house) but now 5 months later she skips in to see her new friends and the staff who are really kind to her. It's great 'training' for school.
