River View Day Nursery (Hertford)

To all the staff at River View, I can not thank you enough, my daughter is due to leave next week and I couldn't be more devastated. We will miss you terribly, and if we do have another child we will be back to visit you without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you.

The staff are excellent, they really nurture the children and always welcome us enthusiastically every morning and evening. They have implemented all the new coronavirus procedures very efficiently, and the children barely notice.

My son started River View in Nov 2018 and really flourished. He loved all his key workers and the activities that River View provided for him. He is starting a preschool in Sept which is next door to our house so a lot easier for me to do drop off and pick up.

My son absolutely loves River View, the staff and his little friends that he has made. The activities are great, and my son’s vocabulary is outstanding from the work that the staff help with in terms of activity-based learning. I had a lot of support from the staff in terms of toilet training, and we kept to the same methods which gave my son consistency in both settings. Thank you for all the support and making my son so happy in your care. Lastly, as a key-worker, the support you have given during these times has just been amazing. Thank you!

I never dreamed I would find a place where I never had to worry about leaving them from three months - they never had a day of not wanting to go, and both came each home each day full of happiness. As a family, we will miss the nursery, and remain forever grateful for everything they have done for both my children. I can not rate the nursery or the staff any higher.

Always friendly and helpful. Feel totally comfortable and happy leaving my son here. They also took great care of my older son when he was here.

Lovely, welcoming staff, who make you feel that they are confident in doing their role and supporting your child's development. Our son has continued to progress and has settled in really well to the setting.

Our little one loves the spacious rooms and plenty of activities in the nursery. We get updates on his progress regularly too.

I would strongly recommend this nursery. My husband and I spent a long time researching numerous nurseries around the Ware and Hertford area and it was our first choice by a long way. Since starting, the staff have been incredible in settling in our daughter. I found the transition of returning back to work after maternity leave and my daughter starting nursery a very challenging time. The staff have been so wonderful in supporting both my daughter and I during this period and settling her in. After just a few weeks, she is really enjoying her time there. She has made lots of friends and built a strong rapport with the staff. She participates in a variety of activities in both an indoor and outdoor setting throughout the day. We get lots of photo updates on the Nursery app, so we get to see what she has been up to throughout the day. Overall, we could not be happier with our choice and are really grateful for all the hard work and support the staff provide, so thank you!

We are so happy with River View, and more importantly so is our son.

The staff are so friendly and caring to all the children, it puts us at ease leaving our daughter here to go to work.

My children have been coming to River View nursery for a year now. I couldn't recommend it enough. The children have developed so much in this time and I praise the nursery staff for their hard work. I couldn't have done it without them.

Overall, we have had a really positive experience of the nursery. Our daughter really enjoys her time with her friends at River View. She has settled in so well and clearly has so much fun based on all the photos we see on the app!

The staff are really nice and always have time to give good feedback.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery. They are fab. My eldest left last summer to start reception and was there from 1 year old. They helped prepare her for school and she was able to do more than was expected of her. My youngest is still there and loves it. She has come on so much in the last few months and loves her key person.

I feel at complete ease leaving my daughter in there care!

The nursery and the staff have been great with our daughter from the first day she joined. We have been extremely happy.

Superb nursery - my daughter has been made to feel special and cared for from day one with noticeable improvements in her speech development and sociability. There is also a real community and support network fostered amongst staff and parents.
