Children love to learn at Co-op Childcare Southampton. Using stories, songs and games the nursery help children develop at their own pace whilst having lots of fun!

Co-op Childcare are big on happy children. They have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world.
The nursery are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.
Big on safety, ALL staff are paediatric first aid trained. They hold the Millie’s Mark award, something only 2% of all nurseries in the UK have managed to achieve!
Using 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, they encourage them to be independent, make their own choices, express their feelings and make a difference in the world.
Co-op Childcare’s ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery days and includes photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten, and even toilet training progress!

The nursery has 5 rooms filled with resources that support children at every age and stage of their development. The friendly team, led by Manager Karen, would love to meet you and show you around so you can really understand what makes their nursery so special.

My son has always had great fun at preschool and I'm always amazed at the activities that they get up to. It's also nice they are outside in the garden quite a bit. I just hope that his sister will be able to attend next September.

My daughter has been at this nursery a year now and is thriving. Her development is well supported on all fronts and feedback from staff is very well communicated each day. The garden has recently been redone; it is a great space and the kids get out most days to play. Staff and management are very
friendly and my daughter responds to them all very well. The nursery is very supportive and open about nutrition - making everything on-site and using fruit purees to sweeten cakes rather than refined sugar. The nursery cost is all inclusive of nappies, food etc; granted it isn't the cheapest nursery in the area but I think the value and quality are reflected in this additional cost. Management can take a while to respond to non-urgent matters, but anything of great importance is dealt with quickly and effectively.

My child has spent almost a year here! Recommend place for a nursery and preschool! The social, linguistic and emotional development my son went through was amazing! I would recommend it to any parent interested in a safe and enriching environment!

I was very nervous leaving my son at nursery however he settled in so quickly because the girls in the baby room were lovely. We couldn't be happier with the care given to our son, it is clear from his interaction with carers and management (and cook!) when I collect him that he likes everyone a lot
and loves his time at nursery. We have recommended it many times to other parents. Everyday I am pleased and surprised how many fun and messy activities the kids do. Also want to comment on how great the carers are when the kids get unwell. I always feel guilty going to pick up an ill child and not having been there, however he is always being cared for so well and cuddled in grasshoppers when I arrive.

I could not be happier with my choice of nursery for my three year old son. He always comes home with a big smile telling me about all the exciting things he has done in the day. The staff are always warm and friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. the staff also come up with new and exciting
activities to help my son love nursery and help him develop.

This is a lovely nursery. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and I have always felt comfortable leaving him, as I know he will be cared for. The staff go out of their way to know his likes and dislikes. Over the past six months there have been many staff changes and this has led to
loss of continuity of care, which does not seem to have bothered my son. At home he shows evidence of learning, such as counting, distinguishing left from right, teaching me new songs, telling me about Diwali etc. He is keen to tell me about his day.
