Co-op Childcare Southampton

I would thoroughly recommend the Co-operative Nursery. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and is now 2. All the staff are friendly and are so nurturing and provide excellent care. All the food is cooked on-site and he is given delicious home cooked food every day. The key workers develop a strong bond between the parent and the child and work closely with me so that key development goals can be achieved. My son absolutely loves it here and never wants to go home! I can't recommend this nursery highly enough.

I am very happy with this nursery, since returning to work I have been reassured to know that my daughter is in a stimulating and safe environment. The facilities are amazing and the staff are very friendly, my daughter has a great bond with her key person and I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone.

Both of our girls have attended this nursery since they were babies. We have always been happy with the level of care they have received. The staff are extremely friendly and seem to genuinely care about the children. Both girls have thrived in the nursery environment and we would recommend it to anyone!

I am very happy with my daughter's care. The nursery staff treat her as an individual and really seem to care about her development. She is always happy at nursery and I can see she does a variety of activities. The staff have also been very kind towards me when I was pregnant and having trouble carrying my daughter or using the stairs.

Nice nursery, the staff are lovely and my daughter loves going. Would recommend to other parents in the area. They were really good working with my daughter's food allergies when she was little, cooking her separate meals each day (as close to what the others were having as possible) and special cakes etc so she didn't miss out because of her allergies.

Lovely feel to the nursery with welcoming staff. Children always engaged and the menu is really good for children. Direct debit payments always work and can use childcare vouchers.

I have nothing but good reviews for this cooperative nursery. My eldest went there and due to the help and support, they gave me in helping my eldest get the help she needed. If it wasn't for the staff and managers my eldest would have never gotten the help that she needed to at an early age as my eldest daughter is autistic and non-verbal. And due to the staff being trained they were able to communicate with my eldest daughter in Makaton. I also sent my youngest daughter there. Both girls love it there. All the staff are respectful happy friendly and helpful. I looked at quite a few nurseries before choosing this nursery. I know that nurseries are expensive but it just goes to show you have to pay a bit more to get the best care for your children.

My baby has been at this nursery for 3 months now, she seems to like it and have fun whilst there. Staff seem really nice and helpful. The menu looks good, our baby has definitely improved eating skills since going there.

All staff are friendly and welcoming. My girl is in 1-2s currently and her key person is brilliant and works towards our wishes and her development needs well. Children get good home cooked food and the new parent app is great to see how your child is and what they have been up to in the day.

After 2 months of being at the new nursery and childminders, they said the report the Co-op wrote sounded like a completely different child than they know as they are exceeding in all subjects.

We have constantly been impressed by the warm friendly attitude of all the staff and how they helped our daughter settle into nursery and then move up to the next age group too. We get detailed feedback every day and the staff are enthusiastic and excited to tell us when she's achieved something new.

All 3 of my children have attended the Co-Operative childcare in Southampton and we have always been happy with the service provided. We have always recommended them and will continue to do so. We have one child currently in the nursery and she is always super excited to go. Our older 2 are always wanting to go back to the nursery. The staff are great and our children love them.

The indoor environment is also much improved after a refurbishment, and it seems lighter, especially in the lobby area. The nursery is kept clean. It is always difficult to leave your child in the care of someone else, but the staff at this nursery have made it that little bit easier!

What we love about Nursery is how each child is valued and made feel very special and how all the staff genuinely care about the children.

My son has always had great fun at preschool and I'm always amazed at the activities that they get up to. It's also nice they are outside in the garden quite a bit. I just hope that his sister will be able to attend next September.

My daughter has been at this nursery a year now and is thriving. Her development is well supported on all fronts and feedback from staff is very well communicated each day. The garden has recently been redone; it is a great space and the kids get out most days to play. Staff and management are very friendly and my daughter responds to them all very well. The nursery is very supportive and open about nutrition - making everything on-site and using fruit purees to sweeten cakes rather than refined sugar. The nursery cost is all inclusive of nappies, food etc; granted it isn't the cheapest nursery in the area but I think the value and quality are reflected in this additional cost. Management can take a while to respond to non-urgent matters, but anything of great importance is dealt with quickly and effectively.

My child has spent almost a year here! Recommend place for a nursery and preschool! The social, linguistic and emotional development my son went through was amazing! I would recommend it to any parent interested in a safe and enriching environment!

I was very nervous leaving my son at nursery however he settled in so quickly because the girls in the baby room were lovely. We couldn't be happier with the care given to our son, it is clear from his interaction with carers and management (and cook!) when I collect him that he likes everyone a lot and loves his time at nursery. We have recommended it many times to other parents. Everyday I am pleased and surprised how many fun and messy activities the kids do. Also want to comment on how great the carers are when the kids get unwell. I always feel guilty going to pick up an ill child and not having been there, however he is always being cared for so well and cuddled in grasshoppers when I arrive.

I am really happy that my son attends this pre-school.

I could not be happier with my choice of nursery for my three year old son. He always comes home with a big smile telling me about all the exciting things he has done in the day. The staff are always warm and friendly and willing to answer any questions I have. the staff also come up with new and exciting activities to help my son love nursery and help him develop.
