Children love to learn at Co-op Childcare Southampton. Using stories, songs and games the nursery help children develop at their own pace whilst having lots of fun!

Co-op Childcare are big on happy children. They have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and a focus on taking care of each other and the world.
The nursery are silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.
Big on safety, ALL staff are paediatric first aid trained. They hold the Millie’s Mark award, something only 2% of all nurseries in the UK have managed to achieve!
Using 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, they encourage them to be independent, make their own choices, express their feelings and make a difference in the world.
Co-op Childcare’s ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery days and includes photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten, and even toilet training progress!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Dona and Olivia for being absolutely amazing since my son started nursery in September. They've made him feel so welcome and settled so quickly, which means the world to me. They're always so kind, caring and patient, and I really appreciate how they always take
the time to reply to my messages and let me know how he's doing throughout the day. It's such a relief knowing he's in such loving hands - you can really tell how much they care about the children. Thank you both for everything you do!

Our child has absolutely loved their time at nursery and as parents we have loved having her there. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and caring, you couldn't ask for more for people looking after your child.
You have absolute trust when you drop your child off that they are going to have
a lovely day, be safe, well cared for and come out excited to tell you about their day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Highly recommended!Staff are excellent and provide high quality care. When we started putting our son in Child Co-op at first we find it hard to leave him there. But the security and assurance of our child development now shows in the long run. He enjoys and learn alot from his teachers and was taken
cared. Always happy to bring home the arts and paper writing he accomplishes everyday. Thank you so much for every hard work teachers, admin and all staff had put in together to continue caring for our little precious children. We are very grateful indeed. GOD bless everyone.

This nursery has been a godsend as it allowed me to return and continue to work happily as I knew my children were being looked after well. Our daughter has been going for two days a week since she was 14 months, now 3 years old. She settled quickly, loving all the staff throughout the different rooms as she moved up in age groups.
She has developed greatly under their care, guidance and teaching in all areas.
We particularly like the
weekly updates on activities in the room and the monthly update on our daughter's progress.
We couldn't recommend this nursery enough and our youngest daughter will be starting shortly.

My daughter enjoys coming here on a daily basis. The staff are all welcoming and accommodating. The meals they provide are 10/10 my daughter eats her portion and asks for seconds! Her favourite part of the nursery is the garden she gets to go out and play in different types of weather.

Our daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old and it has been excellent since day one. The staff are attentive, friendly and build such great relationships with the children. My son joined Coop Nursery at 10 months old and he is now 3 year. From the very beginning, the staff have been amazing-caring, attentive, and always going above and beyond to provide individualised care.
They have created a nurturing environment where my child has felt safe, happy, and encouraged to
grow. The activities are engaging, and I have seen so much progress in his development, from social skills to confidence and learning.
Another great advantage of Coop Nursery is their long operating hours, which perfectly align with my long shifts at work.

My daughter has recently started and I am so happy with how they have welcomed us. Very friendly staff, very polite. I always walk away knowing my daughter is in safe hands. My daughter has been attending this nursery since November 2021. Through this time she has worked through several of the rooms and in each one she has been loved and nurtured by the staff. They have always genuinely seemed to enjoy having her there, have made a real effort to address and encourage her
interests and have made me feel really comfortable.
The nursery has been good for us as parents - for example when we have wanted to book additional sessions, extend sessions etc and they have given great support around aspects such as potty training.
We're now in preschool and every member of that team makes such an effort with my child - through from immediately welcoming her when she arrives, helping to hone her skills and learning, encouraging her to improve and providing insightful handovers.
My daughter loves going to nursery and thoroughly enjoys her time there. She has made many friendships and I think she will really miss the staff when she moves on in September.

My daughter has been going here since 2021, as it was our first we were nervous about leaving her. That's when we met one staff member in particular. She is an amazing person, who you can see loves her job. She calmed us and we could instantly see the bond she made with our daughter. This goes for all
the staff here, including management in office. They know you, they know your child and you're welcomed every time you step in the building. Everyone is approachable with concerns and any we've ever had, they have been followed up and dealt with immediately.
It's a lovely place, with huge rooms for the children, large garden/playground, activities and learning everyday.
My daughter loves going here, she latched onto her room leaders and I feel like they love her like their own. From previous staff member mentioned, to another staff member in particular and now another staff member in particular. My daughters progression has come leaps and bounds, it's because of everyone here and their obvious passion for the job.
I've recommend this nursery to anyone I can and will continue to do so

My son loves coming into nursery, exploring and seeing his friends and staff- I have to ask him to say goodbye because he is so comfortable and gets stuck straight in! They give him perfect opportunities to learn and grow, as well as express himself. The staff give you lovely briefs at the end of the
day, and you can check in via the app to put you at ease. They cater well to needs/allergies.
I could write a long list of staff who have gone above and beyond to make sure he always has a great day and I am well informed at the end of it, especially 2 room leaders.

Our daughter is going to Co-op childcare in Southampton for the last 2 years.
We cannot be more grateful for the staff to make our daughter's days filled with fun, love and also education. All the practitioners are showing love and care on the best way and all of them are extremely professional. Very
good to see that they keep on with their own education so they can care for the children of different ages.
Co-op childcare was nothing but the best choice we could've made. Perfect place for the little ones to learn and make friends.
We'll be sad in September when we'll say our goodbyes as we are off to school.

My 2 year son was very unsettled to start as expected, but team's approach was very reassuring, they took care of him very well. Everyone is lovely, two members of staff in particular are exceptional.

welcoming staff, acts quickly on suggestions, my child has learnt a lot from them and does enjoy his time.
handovers are sometimes deficient but some of the staff members are amazing at handovers which feels reassuring like it would be nice to know how the day went, what activities were done and how
did the child participate and react, and not just eating and drinking and sleeping information.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are absolutely wonderful - caring, professional, dedicated to the children's well-being and development. The environment is fantastic for growth, with a variety of stimulating activities and a warm, nurturing atmosphere that helps the kids feel safe
