handovers are sometimes deficient but some of the staff members are amazing at handovers which feels reassuring like it would be nice to know how the day went, what activities were done and how did the child participate and react, and not just eating and drinking and sleeping information.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are absolutely wonderful - caring, professional, dedicated to the children's well-being and development. The environment is fantastic for growth, with a variety of stimulating activities and a warm, nurturing atmosphere that helps the kids feel safe and encouraged to learn and explore. I'm especially impressed with the nursery's commitment to safety, ensuring that every child is well cared for in a secure setting. The facilities are top-notch, and it's clear that the team puts a lot of thought and effort into creating an enriching experience for the little ones.Another standout feature is their exceptional menu. The meals are not only healthy and nutritious but also incredibly well-balanced. It's such a relief to know that my child is being served fresh, wholesome food every day. Overall, this nursery is a fantastic place for children to grow, learn, and thrive. I'm so grateful for the amazing care and attention my child receives here!

When first picking out a nursery it is very challenging. I didn't feel confident in any nursery I viewed except for when I visited co op Childcare Southampton. From the beginning they have been welcoming, supportive and attentive to all needs required. My daughter loves going when it's her nursery day, the rooms are spacious and lots of activities to do. Food is great and cooked fresh onsite. Two staff members and the management team have all been fantastic since joining. It really shows that they genuinely care about the children in their care. Not a bad word to say and will continue using this nursery for as long as required. Thank you all!

From the start of my children's nursery journey (January 2025) with this nursery I have felt nothing but relief and joy knowing my children are being educated and are learning things that are not only age appropriate but also making learning fun. Both my children have come home with a smile on their faces full of excitement. I get updated on their development every month as well as every time I pick them up from nursery. I am also amazed at how well my children eat at nursery, exploring different foods. I am overjoyed with how well my children are developing and having fun at this nursery.

I am so happy I found such a good all round nursery setting for my child. My child is always happy and excited to go in to his sessions, he comes out happy and confident at the end of every session. The staff and management are very supportive and friendly. They have made me and my child feel very welcome. It is lovely to know that the managers don't only just manage the office but also are in the rooms helping and spending time with the children. It made me happy to see that the managers also knew my child so well as well as his key person, my son is doing extremely well with his development and learning journey with the support of the amazing Preschool team. His interaction isn't limited to just his key person, every member of staff interact with him and make him feel special. We couldn't have chosen a better setting for my son. The setting is in a good location, lovely and friendly atmosphere with so much to offer. The management team are very quick in responding to any queries.

Friendly welcoming staff who welcome you with a smile, attend to your child's needs and keep you well updated with your child's day to day activities. Couldn't ask for a better group of people to put your trust in.

Very happy with our daughter's care here at the Co-Op Nursery. She loves coming to see the carers and the other children. We get great feedback at the end of the day from her key worker, informing us about what she has been doing, how she has developed and what she has eaten at meal times. Our daughter has a cow's milk allergy and we have always felt confident that she is well catered for.

My oldest child has attended this nursery since 2021 and is now in preschool. She has thrived here, has great relationships with the staff and has formed lovely friendships. She always comes back with a smile on her face and tells me about all the activities they have done that day. The long hours are so useful for working parents and knowing they get 3 good meals a day is great. My second child started there this year and he's already loving it. Highly recommend this nursery.

We have just dropped our son off for the last time after 3 years at the Co-Op nursery and throughout that time they have been amazing. Our son has thrived under their care and has loved going. The staff really care about the children and our son has built up great relationships, especially with his key workers over the years. He has made some lovely friends amongst the other children and he does a range of activities each time he goes. Would highly recommend them - we have always been really pleased we chose Co-Op.

My son has been attending the nursery for almost two years, since he was 9 months old. We are moving away so sadly he is having to move to another nursery. We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and my son clearly enjoys his days there. We have always found communication very prompt and I found the app easy to use. Overall, a really lovely nursery with great, caring staff.

A varied range of meals and snacks to fill tummies as well as introduce new tastes and flavours that may not be eaten in the home environment.

This is an excellent nursery with amazing staff. My son really enjoys it. My son started Co-op on November 2022. It was a huge change for him as I started my first full-time job, and relocated. But the staff in his nursery were very helpful, and he got really well attached to one member of staff especially, which helped to settle him well.

The Co-operative Childcare Southampton pre-school has been consistently excellent in providing care for my son. He has a speech delay which is well-supported and understood by the staff. Some staff members have learned Makaton signs to help him and work alongside his speech therapist to provide a consistently high level of support. Their attention to detail has meant that other potential health issues were raised at the same time as we noticed them as parents. Their care is absolutely excellent.

I have had a great experience with the nursery so far. My son has attended since he was 6 months old and is now over 4 yrs old. I have had no reason to change his nursery over the past 4 years. He is happy, engaged and well-taken care of by the lovely team at Co-op.

I am very pleased with the service and staff at this nursery. My children started in September 2022 and they settled in very well, they are always happy when coming to the nursery. The staff are all very kind and helpful. I am very happy with my choice.

Very good place for children. The teachers and bosses are very helpful and friendly. My daughter loves to go every day she is happy and she really enjoys it. Recommend to anyone who looking for child care.

We are very happy to have chosen this nursery (Co-op Childcare Southampton) because of the quality of care our child receives. They are always very approachable, very friendly and know our child's care needs very well. The food menu is very good, varied and healthy. The kids spend a lot of time outside playing which is very good.
