Excellent experience with the nursery over the past two and a half years, I have two children, nearly 2 and nearly 3, both have been in since 6 months old and have thoroughly enjoyed their time and have really close relationships with several members of staff. The changeover of rooms as they grow and develop is dealt with very well and the facilities and care have always been exceptional.
The opening hours are really good.
My daughter feels happy there.
All round a brilliant experience. Our daughter loves coming to nursery and always comes home happy, well-fed and smiling. All the staff are brilliant, communicate very well with us and are friendly, compassionate and a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend Co-op Childcare Southampton to anyone.
My son is getting on very well at the preschool. He gets very upset when I leave him but the girls comfort him which puts my mind at ease. He is learning lots and always talks very highly of teachers.
Administration has also been very efficient at sorting any issues we have had with setting up the app or finances!
My partner and I are truly grateful for looking after our son. We cannot wait to see him progress and develop in your care.
My son has a medical issue that has arisen in the last seven months, which makes him mostly non-verbal, and nursery have provided excellent care and help whilst he recovers/improves. His key worker always goes above and beyond, including learning Makaton signs. My son also has a dietary requirement and there has never been one mistake or issue of the nursery providing incorrect food, which has been a problem for some of my friends at other nurseries with the same need. I am always very impressed and love the daily communication they offer. The activities they provide always sound so fun and I can tell they really take notice of my son's interests and what he responds to even though he isn't always able to communicate with words. I am so grateful to have found such a caring and helpful place.
I can't recommend this setting enough! My son is now in school but comes back to the pre-school room for holiday club each half term. We have very fond memories of the time he has had there over the years and he still loves going in. I enjoy seeing him playing with his nursery friends again and interacting with the staff who he adores. Thank you all for everything you do!
The nursery was recommended to me by several colleagues and friends whose children had attended both recently and in the past. It has not disappointed with its reliability and excellent care. My son not only adores coming but seems to learn a lot. He loves the staff which is so reassuring as I can always trust that they are doing a good job at looking after him.
Fantastic nursery, everyone's so friendly and helpful. My daughter loves it here and her speech has really come on well and has learnt so much while attending. I really like nursery assistant a lot, she's a lovely girl, very helpful and my daughter likes her too. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.
My son currently attends the holiday club at this setting and I have always been very happy with the provision. The staff are welcoming and friendly and show the utmost care to my son when he is here. I always look forward to picking him up and hearing about all the lovely things he has been doing.
Lovely nursery, both my children leave at the end of the day really happy. My youngest has always been so clingy and shy but since going to nursery he has really grown in confidence. Highly recommend.
My son always looks forward to going to preschool. This shows the excellent care and fun educational activities he enjoys whilst in preschool. As a parent, we just want the best for our child and that is what this child care offers.
My little one absolutely loves it, gets up excited about his day to come and goes in without a problem. The staff are brilliant and always informative about his day and any problems he has had. He loves the staff and is always asking where his key worker is. He comes home chatting all about his day and singing songs he loves as he never did this before and has come out of his shell towards people as it is growing his independence and confidence not being at home with me. I can't recommend them enough and thank them enough for this
The staff have taken the time to get to know my child at each stage of her time in the nursery, from nine months to preschool. She has had excellent care and all of her learning needs and play have been met. Management have been extremely supportive, offering extra sessions when needed to accommodate my working pattern. I am very grateful that my child has had the fantastic opportunity to attend and see her develop and watch her flourish.
Overall I think the nursery is really good, they have a lot of activities. My daughter really enjoys her time there. The only thing is the small variety of foods they have and I feel that sometimes the food is not appropriate for babies.
Our kids were always excited every morning to go to the nursery. We are pleased with the care and the information shared. The staff and management are friendly, supportive and we always had quick responses for any queries.
Friendly and caring staff. My oldest son went from baby to nursery there and loved it. My second is now with the toddlers group and also loves going to nursery. All staff members are really friendly and give good feedback at the end of the day.
My child's development has improved massively since starting at the nursery. She is involved with lots of fun and exciting activities. The staff were really reassuring when she was settling as due to being with just myself throughout lockdown, she was very resistant to leave me.
My daughter settled in straight away despite the new Covid-secure settle sessions and loves going to nursery. She thrives in the engaging environments that the nursery provides and has grown in confidence since starting at 12 months. I was worried about the long days and being separate from me, especially after 6 months of lockdown being just us two but she absolutely adores her key workers and the other room workers.
My son has been at Little Pioneers for over a year now and I can't fault the care he's received. He's absolutely thriving and can't wait to go to nursery every day. The carers are really good with the children and it's obvious they build good relationships with the children they care for. The nursery have really good facilities both inside and outdoors in the form of a garden with climbing equipment. The children are provided with balanced meals and snacks and my child has tried several new things since being at the nursery and is happier to try new things at home. My son has had some extra help with his speech and language and the nursery and their SENCO have been brilliant at supporting him. I couldn't recommend them more.
