Bright Horizons Portswood Day Nursery and Preschool

The nursery has provided our daughter with a safe, engaging and enriching environment. All of our daughters care workers have been caring and professional and have supported and nurtured her development. Our experience of the nursery has been fantastic and we would definitely recommend to others.

The staff are always smiling, friendly and helpful even at the end of a long day. Handovers are always informative and I loved the pictures produced from the recent photo shoot which we only signed up for the same morning. Great flexible service I would highlight they do all this with what appears reduced staffing levels of late - I hope that is not causing undue workload/stress for an all round great team.

He now loves going to nursery and has a lot of fun. So much so he always sleeps much better ion "nursery nights".

Very pleased with the provision, staff are very attentive to the needs of both children and work effectively with us. The setting's values are evident through our child's progression. The experiences offered are outstanding and always tailored to the interests of my child. Staff take time to ensure strong attachments and smooth transitions between the rooms. Both children always enter and leave with a smile and cannot wait to tell me about their day.

Ever since we came and viewed the nursery, we have fallen in love. All the staff are so attentive and caring. Our little boy was so relaxed from day one and that proves we made the right decision. They are brilliant with his allergies and are so cautious which puts my mind at ease. I just feel so comfortable that my son is being given the best care possible.

I have two children at the nursery and they both love it. The staff have taken time to get to know them and make them feel secure. They do lots of interesting activities and have delicious meals. I am very happy with the care here.

The staff at Westwood are amazing with my son. The care they provide is outstanding. My son is always happy to come to the Toddler room in the morning and is very happy during pick up.

Our son loves coming to preschool and I am always confident that he has a great structured day with enough activities and mealtimes and snacks. My son comes home very dirty and this makes me very happy because it means they are active outside. I have the greatest confidence in all staff at preschool and I believe he is getting the best possible care.

Excellent interactive care with a variety of age-appropriate activities. Fun regular projects and a real dedication to school preparation.

My girls really enjoy the newly introduced PE sessions, what a great addition to the daily routine. And the new 'Artist Of The Month' is very inspirational.

We have always been extremely pleased with the care given to our children by the staff at Asquith Westwood Park Day Nursery. Our children are so happy there. The personal interest shown by the staff is great and it is always a pleasant and happy environment.

Highly recommending this nursery. From the first day I visited (while pregnant), I felt strong trust towards the staff. The place is clean (very clean) in comparison to other nurseries. Staff members are really kind and give you detailed updates about your child's progress.

Staff at this nursery are warm, friendly and caring. Each staff member has taken an interest in getting to know our daughter and putting her safety first. The facilities are clean, the food is excellent, and our daughter comes home each day talking positively about her experiences. We would not hesitate to recommend Westwood Park to anyone.

Couldn't be happier with my child's care. The girls work effectively with myself and my partner to ensure the best outcomes for our son. The nursery has taken on board my son's interests to include in their planning and themes. The food is excellent and dietary requirements are well catered for.
