Spring Nursery: A springboard for healthy first steps. Where you can leave your child safe in the knowledge that they are going to have fun being equipped with the practical skills they will need as they grow up.

Staff build on what you do by encouraging each child to discover their individuality, try new things, make friends and to learn about the modern world through play.

Spring Nursery is located less than 1 mile from Braintree Freeport and offers a 49 place day nursery. Its is open from 7.30am until 6pm, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 0 months to eleven years.

They also have a holiday club through school holidays open from 7.30am until 6pm.

My daughter started at the nursery in January after moving from another nursery in the area. She absolutely loves it and so do I and her grandparents. The amount of different activities and meals on offer every day is brilliant. I’ve never known a nursery with such good communication between the parents
and the nursery. The use of the Famly app is perfect for me as a working mum and the ability to see what my daughter has been up to, any accidents, and what she’s eaten and how much is brilliant. The staff are so lovely and have made us feel very welcome, specifically, her key worker, and two other members of staff. She’s settled in seamlessly and I couldn’t ask for a better nursery for her. She loves going to nursery and always comes home with drawings and artwork and a big smile on her face. Best decision we made, moving her here.

Having sent my daughter to the nursery, I had no doubt that I would also send my son. Initially, my little boy struggled to settle at the initial separation but all of the staff were very comforting and reassuring and it wasn't long and my little boy couldn't run through the entrance doors any quicker.
The communication is brilliant with the nursery and all of the staff are so lovely, engaging and friendly. Thank you for everything you all do.

I have been sending my children to Spring Nursery since 2015 and two of my children are currently attending. Over the years, this nursery has improved year after year and I have no doubt that they will continue to grow. The staff are polite, friendly and they communicate with the parents extremely well.
Whether it's over the phone, face to face or on the family app. They keep you updated with your childs progress via frequent reports and parents evenings. They also do special days like stay and play, mother and fathers day breakfasts. The activities are widely varied and interaction is great from staff. Thank you Spring Nursery for the care and encouragement you have given to my children.

My son absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are lovely, always smiling and kind to parents and children. The rooms in the nursery are big and well organised, with lots of activities. The garden is very big. My son has made lots of friends since he started and he has learned a lot. The staff
were very supportive with his potty training. I'm very happy to have chosen this nursery and I have already recommended it to all my friends.

The staff are so friendly, professional and leaving my daughter with them has always left me feeling happy that she is safe and very well cared for. I can't recommend Spring Nursery enough and only wish I had known about this nursery sooner. The range of activities and learning is varied and exciting
for the children and my daughter always comes out of nursery with the biggest smile on her face. The staff are the nicest people and I can't thank them enough for the excellent level of care they provide.

The school has helped my daughter lots. Help her walk and learn so much and she loves playing and loves the staff there. They are very friendly and helpful and excellent. Best nursery. Cannot fault them at all. My daughter loves playing in the garden as well and if she eats all her food she has more
and if she does not eat, they give her what she would eat. Fantastic place.

This is an amazing nursary with amazing staff. My daughter loves it here, she has come so far and learnt so much from being here, sometimes she doesn't want to leave.

I have moved my son here from another nursery due to financing and I am so happy that there was a reason for us to move him! Since starting the nursery, he has been leaving me very well during drop off and I have been told by all of the employees that he chats so much with them and how much he gets
involved. This is such a contrast to how staff at his previous setting said he was with his social skills whilst there. One very happy mummy and little boy!

My son has been going since he was 9 months old. He has come on leaps and bounds, all the staff are really friendly and always there to talk to if need to. There are plenty of resources for my son to enjoy. I love the feedback I get from the app so I know what he is doing.

All three of my children have attended this nursery setting at some point and they all really enjoy coming here. My older ones always look forward to the holiday clubs in the half terms of school and my youngest enjoys coming twice a week.
They just really invest in her and keep me up to date with
everything that she does and anything that we need to speak about communication is so good. I never leave wondering what she has done during the day.

This is a lovely nursery they are very welcoming and helpful. My daughter has been going there for just over a year all the way through, they have been attentive and they send you updates all the time letting you know how they're getting on. They really connect with the children and create a good relationship
with them. My daughter loves going and doing new things every day. Also, the office staff are fantastic and always willing to help.

Jade has worked for the company since 2011 and holds a level 3 childcare qualification. Jade strives to ensure that the children are at the heart of all decisions and ensures they are learning and developing through many areas of play. Jade loves to see the children thrive.


Jade also has a daughter and loves to be creative and messy.


Jade is also the SENCO alongside the deputy and also has a mental health first aid certificate

Carly is Spring Carousels, deputy manager. She is Level 3 qualified and is based all over the nursery setting supporting the rooms with quality and the office with managerial tasks.

Amy is our Senior Practitioner and works within our Explorers room.


She holds a level 3 childcare qualification.


Amy is also our student coordinator and ensures students feel supported when learning in our setting.

Chloe is currently on maternity leave


Chloe has a level 2 qualification and is currently studying her level 3. She is currently based in Navigators Room. Chloe enjoys lots of arts and crafts which the children love!

Becca is based in our Inventors room and holds a level 3 qualification in childcare.


She is also our fundraising coordinator alongside her team member and enjoys planning fun activities for us all to take part in.

Brad has a level 3 qualification and is based in our inventors room as the senior room lead. Brad has also taken on the role of garden coordinator and has lots of fresh ideas to spruce up or large play area.
Brad really enjoys working in the childcare sector and brings a really fun vibe to Spring Carousel for the children.
