Spring Nursery: A springboard for healthy first steps. Where you can leave your child safe in the knowledge that they are going to have fun being equipped with the practical skills they will need as they grow up.

Staff build on what you do by encouraging each child to discover their individuality, try new things, make friends and to learn about the modern world through play.

Spring Nursery is located less than 1 mile from Braintree Freeport and offers a 49 place day nursery. Its is open from 7.30am until 6pm, 51 weeks of the year for children aged 0 months to eleven years.

I have found the staff to be extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. They helped my grandson settle in very quickly and keep him motivated to really enjoy going to nursery. They are very professional in regular reporting of his progress. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery has bought the best out of my son; he’s become so confident and has come milestones in his learning, and it’s down to the staff here. I literally love the app as well, so in any doubts, you can always see what your child has eaten and done during the day without even being with them.

I couldn’t dream of a better nursery for my daughter! I’m sure it really is the best in Braintree!
She had a hard time adjusting at the beginning, but the team at the nursery were there for her every time she needed it. After some time, she fell in love with the place and all the ladies working there.
She was so happy every morning when she woke up and knew that it’s nursery day.
I will definitely recommend Spring Nursery to everyone!
Amazing place and amazing people!

Excellent nursery! The attention to detail when updating my son's care plans is incredible; they include every little detail needed and make sure they don’t miss anything! They work so closely with the children and parents too!

Our daughter started nursery at Spring Carousel Chapel Hill back in Feb/March, and she is loving every minute of it.
We get updates each week on how she is getting on and what areas she is showing development in, as well as daily reports of what she is eating, nap times and any incidents (if necessary).


There is also a lovely big play area outside for the children to explore on sunny days.


Have recommended Spring Carousel to many friends already and will carry on doing so.

I was extremely nervous about my daughter starting nursery, as was my daughter. But the staff were absolutely amazing with both of us. They have been fantastic with my daughter during her first year of the nursery; she’s had ups and downs with leaving me at the start of the day, but having great connections
with the staff has made this easier for her to gain independence away from me and she is so excited to be going back after the holidays. I have always been kept up to date with her progression, meals and day to day activities. Cannot fault this nursery at all.

My daughter started here in January 2021; she was very unsettled for the first 2-months. The whole time I had communication with the staff to make sure she was ok.
She now absolutely loves it; she is always so excited to go and see her friends and her teachers. She always comes home telling me what
she has been learning. I would highly recommend it here.
They have a lovely big outside area to play in too.

The ladies here at the nursery are absolutely lovely and have been so helpful in helping my son settle into his class.


We have had some issues around behaviour, but the girls in his class have always kept me totally in the loop and have always been hands-on and professional when I have discussed

any concerns with them.


My little boy has definitely flourished since being in this care setting, and I cannot wait to continue at the nursery for the pre-school term.

Spring Carousel is a fantastic setting. I have two children in this setting, and my eldest is in her last year. I have been dealing with the nursery for 3-years, and I’ve never had a problem or concerns. Each and every staff member is caring, friendly, kind, very supportive and very understand if a
change has happened in home life. Every member of the staff listen and take on board different things we try at home, and they do this at group time for example “sharing” read a book about it. The care they give towards my children is very professional, and they have all taken time to learn the needs of both my children. During COVID-19, they have all worked safely; it’s been hard for you all. Well done. The food is always good, and they record everything. I like that they have an app in which everything is recorded from meals to sleep and nappy changes. Maybe better garden resources, that’s about it. Keep up the good work, girls!

Since my daughter started going here, she has improved in her speech and really grown in confidence.
The staff are so kind and helpful and always such a happy greeting when dropping off and collecting my daughter.

Cannot fault the nursery at all! They’re dealing with current circumstances brilliantly, and they keep you updated. I wouldn’t have sent my child anywhere else after my eldest went here. Absolutely would recommend Spring Carousel Nursery. The staff there are wonderful, my daughter absolutely loves going. They are so down to earth and supportive, my daughter has been going since she was 1 and is 3 now, and still everyday loves to go every day. She has come on so much and is learning
something new every day. I have now also had another child, and when I return to work, he will also be joining, which I can’t wait for.

This nursery has been brilliant. Very good communication between staff and myself regarding my son using there app! They have wonderful relationships with my son; he settled in amazingly and talks about his friends and teachers all the time. I find my son learning something new every time he comes home
from preschool. I have had only good remarks to say about the nursery. They have been very helpful thought lockdown and are very accommodating in difficult times. Thumbs up from me and the kids!

My daughter has settled into this nursery very well and has come on leaps and bounds since being there. It’s been a difficult time throughout lockdown but the nursery staff have made it easier, fun and generally trying to normalise life for the children. My daughter has so much fun at nursery and talks
about it constantly, even on her days off. The staff are very helpful and accommodating when there is a problem and very understanding when it comes to us overprotective, clingy mums. Overall, a great nursery and highly recommend!

We looked at a few nurseries before sending our baby here and we instantly knew this was the right one for us. The staff not only were polite to us but also interacted with our baby. The nursery was age-appropriate and is always clean. Our baby never comes home hungry or dirty. They’re covid compliant.
Wouldn’t be without this nursery, thank you for having us!

Both my daughter and I love this nursery, from the staff to the food to the facilities everything about this nursery has made my little girls first steps into education such an amazing one. Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2011

Jade has worked for the company since 2011 and holds a level 3 childcare qualification. Jade strives to ensure that the children are at the heart of all decisions and ensures they are learning and developing through many areas of play. Jade loves to see the children thrive.


Jade also has a daughter and loves to be creative and messy.


Jade is also the SENCO alongside the deputy and also has a mental health first aid certificate

Carly is Spring Carousels, deputy manager. She is Level 3 qualified and is based all over the nursery setting supporting the rooms with quality and the office with managerial tasks.

Amy is our Senior Practitioner and works within our Explorers room.


She holds a level 3 childcare qualification.


Amy is also our student coordinator and ensures students feel supported when learning in our setting.

Chloe is currently on maternity leave


Chloe has a level 2 qualification and is currently studying her level 3. She is currently based in Navigators Room. Chloe enjoys lots of arts and crafts which the children love!

Becca is based in our Inventors room and holds a level 3 qualification in childcare.


She is also our fundraising coordinator alongside her team member and enjoys planning fun activities for us all to take part in.

Brad has a level 3 qualification and is based in our inventors room as the senior room lead. Brad has also taken on the role of garden coordinator and has lots of fresh ideas to spruce up or large play area.
Brad really enjoys working in the childcare sector and brings a really fun vibe to Spring Carousel for the children.
