Grasshoppers Day Nursery is a home-from-home environment set within a beautiful detached house with a stunning garden. They have also obtained their Green Flag award.

There is a large, enclosed and well-equipped garden with safe and secure areas for each age group. Outdoor activities are scheduled throughout the year to maximise the amount of time children spend in the open air.

The nursery offers a fully inclusive package, opening from 7.30-6.30 giving parents a convenient service.

Cannot recommend this nursery enough and I only have positive feedback. The staff have all been lovely, with each key worker, my son has had I felt took a real interest in him and helped him develop. The rooms and outdoor space for them to play are fantastic and always look inviting and interesting
for the kids. He's really grown in confidence over the years and I credit a large part of that to going to Grasshoppers.

Both my son and my daughter have had a fantastic time at Grasshoppers in Aylesbury. They settled well as the staff are so warm and welcoming every morning and they have an amazing time every day with so many activities to choose from. The rooms have all been renovated with new equipment/toys and really
look fantastic - the outside play area is a particular win with the kids. The staff are really engaged with the little ones, meaning we've seen great steps in their development!

Choosing Grasshoppers Day Nursery was the best decision we made as parents and one which we routinely were grateful for making throughout our son's 3 years in their care. We cannot fault them in any way, and would (and do!) recommending them in a heartbeat. The care and support they provided our son
and us as first-time parents was second to none and every step of our journey with them, from our son starting at 1 year old, through to him leaving for school. The very best of nurseries and one very happy set of parents! Thank you.

I could not recommend Grasshoppers enough! My son only did one day a week but his confidence has grown so much! He is now leaving to start school and I feel Grasshoppers have really helped in getting him ready. All the staff are so lovely. Thank you to all at Grasshoppers.

Our daughter has spent over a year here and I'm going to be so sad when she has to leave! The peace of mind we have dropping her off every morning knowing that she's in the best environment with people who genuinely care for her is just priceless. She has come on leaps and bounds and is always happy
to go in.
Every single member of staff without exception are kind, caring, professional, and loving to all the children. Not only that, the rooms and garden area are just brilliant, they're always changing around the toys and displays and having new focuses every week to challenge and delight the kids.
Gutted there isn't a Grasshoppers infant and junior school! Thank you to everyone there.

We came to view Grasshoppers last year and we knew as soon as we stepped through the door that it was the nursery we wanted our daughter to attend. We went to view 3 other nurseries but none of them compared as Grasshoppers set our standards so high. We love the home-from-home feel and we loved seeing
how well the children already attending were being cared for. Staff are attentive, informative and caring, my daughter also has a dairy allergy and I have no worries about sending her to nursery as they made us and make us feel so at ease. My daughter is thriving in their care and is always happy to attend as the staff who greet us always have big smiles and open arms.

My oldest child has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery in Aylesbury since the baby room and he will be going to school this year. He has loved every room that he has been in and has recently moved into the new preschool pod which is just amazing! The staff throughout the setting are so caring and friendly,
you can tell they love doing what they do. My eldest always talks about the staff and how much fun he has in Preschool. I really wouldn’t choose anywhere else to send my children! my youngest child has been in the baby room for 10 months and he loves being in the Caterpillar room with one of the ladies who was also my first child’s keyworker. He always has so much fun with the staff in Caterpillars, they are all absolutely lovely and give the children the best possible start in nursery.

From day one, it was clear that this isn't your average nursery, the staff are like family, greeting everyone with big smiles and open arms every morning. They've created a warm and loving atmosphere that puts you at ease knowing they are always left in good hands.
What we love most is how they cater
to each child's individual needs and interests. They also worked really hard with us to support my son's speech and gave him time and patience for him to gain his confidence.
Communication is paramount and I always feel informed and involved in all their daily experiences, thanks to regular updates, photos, and opportunities to discuss their progress with the key workers. This transparency has not only reassured me as a parent but has also strengthened the bond between our family and the staff.
We can't thank you all enough for everything you have done and to help them grow and thrive in ways we never imagined, and we couldn't be more grateful.

As a first-time parent returning to work full time, I didn't realise how anxiety-inducing it would be when your child also starts nursery. It's heartening that Grasshoppers took such thoughtful steps to ensure a smooth transition for my little one. Early preparation - Grasshoppers went above and beyond
by settling my child ahead of my return to work. Emotional support - Their kindness in providing me with tissues while my baby happily played with other children. The emotional support during this transition was invaluable. Happy little one - It's delightful that my child now smiles every day and willingly goes to their key worker. Loving care - Knowing your child is in safe hands and receiving loving care provides immense peace of mind. From my experience, it's evident that they prioritise both the child's and parent's well-being! Thank you so much to all the staff!

Our eldest daughter joined Grasshoppers in August 2022 after we moved to the area. She joined Pre-School which she found daunting, but thanks to the wonderful teachers, she settled in relatively quickly making friends within the first day. She developed so much in the year that she spent at Pre-School,
she learnt to spell and sound out letters which helped her when she started school in September, as she is now on stage 5 books and is able to read without any help. Our youngest daughter started nursery in September in Caterpillars and immediately loved being there, she loved her teachers, she is now in Ladybirds and she is developing into a confident little girl, happy to go straight to nursery She's learning new words every day and loves singing songs and looking at books. It's a testament to the teachers who work hard to keep the children happy and occupied from 7.30 am - 6.30 pm 5 days a week.

I’d highly recommend Grasshoppers Nursery to all prospective parents. Both of our children enjoyed their time here and our youngest experienced all four stages of her early years at the nursery. The facilities are extensive, the staff are caring and welcoming and it has a personal feel to the care for
the individual child. We believe that both children felt ready to start infant school after their time in pre-school at Grasshoppers and this aided a successful transition.

My toddler loves Grasshoppers Day Nursery Aylesbury and we as parents think it is such a lovely place for him. The team in ladybirds have been fantastic and we really appreciate how they genuinely care for our little boy. I cannot thank them enough for being patient with me when we first started and

We have been sending our daughters to Grasshoppers since our oldest joined the Caterpillar's room at 10 months old in 2015. During that time we have always been happy with the standard of care provided for them. The staff are always setting up great activities and learning opportunities for the children,
they’re always friendly and willing to chat about the day at pick-up. The nursery is well run with frequent communication provided to parents. We would recommend this nursery to others.

I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter started in the baby room and is about to graduate from the pre school room. All staff have shown a warm and welcoming approach and demonstrated a high standard of care. I believe the nursery is well led and staff are friendly yet professional at all times.
Communication has always been good. My child was encouraged and supported with her individual development and her needs were always met. They have always provided a wide range of activities with a great range of resources and equipment to support children’s play and development.

My daughter has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and thoroughly enjoyed her time here. Starting nursery during the pandemic was an unsettling time, but Grasshoppers were brilliant at keeping everything as normal as possible for the children. The staff are all always very friendly
and helpful. My daughter has grown in confidence throughout her time at Grasshoppers and always looks forward to her days attending nursery. The app is helpful in keeping parents up to date with food, sleep and activities, especially in the younger rooms. I am pleased that my daughter is now well prepared for starting in a school environment - thank you!

Both my boys have gone through Grasshoppers, I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the nursery. I know when the boys were there they were cared for to the highest level and I had no worries about dropping them off for the day! They have loved every minute of being there and learnt so much
plus tried lots of new food which they wouldn’t touch at home! Thank you to the whole team and we will miss you all.

My son has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery since he was only five months old and I would absolutely recommend this nursery. The teams in all rooms, as well as reception and management, are wonderful. Not only is this fun for my son but Grasshoppers Day Nursery have encouraged his development no end.
The daily updates on the app are super helpful to manage routines (sleep, meals etc) but I always love any picture snapshots and also the monthly learning stories.

My grandson has been at the nursery since being a toddler and it has always been a very positive experience, both for himself and me as a carer. The staff have always displayed professional behaviour, yet they are warm and caring. The staff provide interesting and exciting activities for the children
and they always endeavour to understand each individual's needs. My grandson has developed a passion for learning and is provided with plenty of opportunities to learn new things. Through his experiences at Grasshoppers, I feel he is well prepared for when he starts school in September.

Corinna is the Manager of Grasshoppers Day Nursery in Aylesbury. Corinna has a wealth of experience, having worked at Childbase Partnership since 2005 and gaining a Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

The beautiful building itself and the large outdoor space available for all children to extend learning opportunities.

What makes our nursery is our team- we are an extended supportive family. We all share the same passion for supporting our children to learn and develop through a blended curriculum.
