Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

We are very happy we chose Grasshoppers Day Nursery for both our girls. They both enjoyed their time with you. They have learned, played and grown with you and they have both developed into lovely young ladies thanks to the very good start they had with you. My daughter has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and thoroughly enjoyed her time here. Starting nursery during the pandemic was an unsettling time, but Grasshoppers were brilliant at keeping everything as normal as possible for the children. The staff are all always very friendly and helpful. My daughter has grown in confidence throughout her time at Grasshoppers and always looks forward to her days attending nursery. The app is helpful in keeping parents up to date with food, sleep and activities, especially in the younger rooms. I am pleased that my daughter is now well prepared for starting in a school environment - thank you!

Both my boys have gone through Grasshoppers, I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the nursery. I know when the boys were there they were cared for to the highest level and I had no worries about dropping them off for the day! They have loved every minute of being there and learnt so much plus tried lots of new food which they wouldn’t touch at home! Thank you to the whole team and we will miss you all.

My son has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery since he was only five months old and I would absolutely recommend this nursery. The teams in all rooms, as well as reception and management, are wonderful. Not only is this fun for my son but Grasshoppers Day Nursery have encouraged his development no end. The daily updates on the app are super helpful to manage routines (sleep, meals etc) but I always love any picture snapshots and also the monthly learning stories.

My grandson has been at the nursery since being a toddler and it has always been a very positive experience, both for himself and me as a carer. The staff have always displayed professional behaviour, yet they are warm and caring. The staff provide interesting and exciting activities for the children and they always endeavour to understand each individual's needs. My grandson has developed a passion for learning and is provided with plenty of opportunities to learn new things. Through his experiences at Grasshoppers, I feel he is well prepared for when he starts school in September.

I have sent both my children to Grasshoppers Day Nursery and can’t praise them highly enough. They provide a caring, supportive and friendly environment for both the children and parents. My eldest child is in preschool and is always excited to go in and loves telling me about all the different activities they’ve done throughout the day. My youngest is in caterpillars and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The only reason we are moving is because another child base nursery has opened closer to home. I wouldn’t trust any other provider. Thank you Grasshoppers for providing such a lovely nursery experience for all of us.

We visited multiple nurseries and the decision was easy as we found overall experience of visiting Grasshoppers Day Nursery very good as the staff were awesome and explained to us all the details which were important. Our daughter has now spent over 3 months at the nursery and she settled literally within a week and I believe one of the reasons for that is the super friendly and caring staff. Every morning without fail our daughter is welcomed with a big smile from each and every staff. Also, regular updates on meals, sleeps, activities and milestones via a mobile app is very helpful. Evening briefs are again very helpful. Our daughter is happy and so are we as parents.

My daughter joined Grasshoppers Day Nursery in August 2022. The team and management are both super friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. I was slightly worried about her settling in as she was very shy towards the beginning however now she loves going to nursery and her confidence has grown. The bond between her and her key worker is fantastic and they have built such a great relationship since she has joined. The online portal is absolutely fantastic and so useful for parents and you are able to keep track of your child's progress and also see what they have been doing in the nursery. I would highly recommend Grasshoppers Day Nursery for anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little one.

My child has been attending Grasshoppers Day Nursery since November 2022. The staff took their time to help her settle into a new environment and she now runs in happily! She loves her keyworker and all the staff, and it's so lovely that every member of staff knows your child and how they're getting on even if they aren't in the room. I like that I get regular updates through the app, and they were happy for me to ring at any time when she was settling in (or if she's a bit unsettled even now) to see how she was getting on. I would definitely recommend Grasshoppers to friends and family.

We recently moved our 2 year old from a different nursery to Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) and up to this date we are very happy with the change. Our daughter seems to settle in very well and is already separating from us with confidence and exploring her new setting. She is getting involved in a wide variety of activities and play and we get snapshots of her almost on a daily basis which is highly appreciated. We also get feedback when we pick her up about her overall day. The staff is very polite, friendly and really passionate about their jobs, they are very good at bonding with the children and keeping the parents updated. Although she’s been there for only one month, my daughter is excited about going to nursery and more involved in activities, and obviously, this is reassuring for us parents. I do find the fees quite high, but I guess childcare is expensive and pretty much everything these days.

My daughter has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) since October 2022 and she absolutely loves her time there. The nursery and every single member of staff are so warm and welcoming, they make every effort to get to know each child and parents. My daughter is absolutely thriving at nursery, the staff in her room are amazing at personalised care and her development. I would recommend Grasshoppers Day Nursery in a heartbeat because three months in and we are so happy with our decision to send our daughter to this nursery.

My son has been at Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury) for the past year. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. The space is lovely and kept clean, there are plenty of toys and great outdoor spaces. The staff are excellent giving great personalised care. They all get to know the children and are aware of their individual needs, likes and dislikes. They tailor the learning accordingly and the app is great to keep parents up to date.

Grasshoppers Day Nursery has been truly outstanding. Both of my children have loved their time here. Each and every staff member is welcoming and really make the effort to know each child. This definitely made such an impact on my children's settling in, the moment they walk in through the front door they are greeted by an ever-friendly face and this continues until they get to their room. Routines are well established and the children know what they are doing. They are valued and given responsibility, whilst being in top-quality care. I always find out what has happened in the day, through a handover from staff but also from excited children wanting to share their achievements of the day. Grasshoppers is a family and feels like a warm cuddle when you walk in. I highly recommend Grasshoppers to anyone who is after an excellent setting for their children.

I have been impressed since the day I visited the nursery for a tour. The environment looks inviting and stimulating. The staff are warm and welcoming, making my child feel at ease. You don't feel rushed out the door when you collect your child and the handover feels tailored to my child's interests and what she has enjoyed doing rather than it being general in relation to all the children. Love the app and how you receive updates throughout the day. I look forward to reading her observations and looking at the photos. My previous career was in childcare so I knew what I was looking for when I enrolled my child, I recommend Childbase nurseries to everyone. Thank you, Grasshoppers!

My child loves going to nursery. The staff are very happy and loving towards her. They really do care about her. They come across that they are happy to be there because they want to be there. The venue is big and spacious, the garden has so much space and many activities. The food is great, so much variety for her to try!

Grasshoppers Day Nursery has been truly fantastic with my son. He was a very shy and reserved child when he started. Now, 3 years later as he leaves for school, I know he will do well and it is in massive part thanks to the staff at Grasshoppers. Everyone was also keen to help and listen to my concerns as a parent. They worked with me to help improve my son's confidence and put in place support for him. He has blossomed. I am so sad my son is leaving but I could not recommend Grasshoppers highly enough to any new parent.

We have had both of our boys with Grasshoppers Day Nursery two days a week since mid 2018 and mid 2021. We have always found the staff to be amazing and caring of our boys and build meaningful relationships that create a nurturing and growth-positive environment. We get updates on the ParentZone app that show us all the lovely things they get up to each day. This includes creative and messy tasks, lots of outdoor activities, reading and writing exercises, basic maths tasks, and generally having a great time with their little mates. The food is really good also, and we get updates on what they have eaten on the app too (honestly, I wish they would eat like that when they are at home). Other childcare options have come up for us along the way that would have been slightly more convenient or cost effective, but nothing has ever tempted us away from Grasshoppers as it is clear our boys get so much out of being there. I would recommend them to anyone!

I would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Grasshoppers Day Nursery for helping our son develop socially and academically. He has thoroughly enjoyed his time at the nursery. We loved the regular updates through the app and we will miss you all.

Grasshoppers Day Nursery was our first choice for our daughter, and after reading all the reviews and seeing it all first hand, we’re so glad we chose them. Friendly staff, very attentive and I can happily leave my daughter knowing she’s in safe hands. We were extremely worried to start with, as our little one is a picky eater, but everyone at Grasshoppers have worked so hard to make sure she tries new food. Socially, she’s more engaging and we have noticed such a difference in her behaviour around people. Nothing but positive things to say for everyone in the team. A big thank you to all for helping my little one excel in such a short space of time.
