Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

My daughter has just left Grasshoppers after 3 years there and we have been so pleased with the care and support she has received. She loved going in which made it much easier for us as parents and the staff were always friendly and helpful. They catered well for her food allergy and kept us informed of the activities she was doing via the app. We are very pleased that we chose Grasshoppers.

Both my daughter and son have attended this nursery from two months old, with my littlest one leaving in the summer. The care they have both received from this nursery is outstanding. Even when they were so small I never felt worried that they wouldn’t be cared for. They always kept me informed about everything going on. All the staff are so lovely and brilliant at their job and taking care of the children. My kids loved every moment they spent there and both still talk about it often and certain staff members. It was so hard to leave in the summer. There were a lot of tears from me. Thank you grasshoppers for everything you have taught and done for my children. We miss you all.

Both my children (now aged 3 and 9) were looked after, cared for and encouraged to be the children they are now. The staff are excellent, they are friendly, kind and caring and you can tell they love their job. Most importantly my children were happy to be there.

My daughter attended Grasshoppers for 2-years and loved it! The staff have been so friendly and caring and have always been welcoming. The facilities are great and what I loved was the big outdoor space they had! I highly recommend this nursery for any child!

My son started at Grasshoppers just after his first birthday and has recently left to start school. From day one I felt a sense of ease dropping him off knowing he was being so well cared for whilst having fun and learning. He has always enjoyed going to Grasshoppers, I cannot fault all the staff, they have been wonderful and he created bonds with them all. My youngest son now attends Grasshoppers and they have gone out of their way to be accommodating to his never-ending list of allergies!

I write this review as our second daughter has just spent her last day at Grasshoppers. We are so saddened that the time has come for our youngest to leave and move on but what a wonderful, nurturing environment all the staff create for the children. Our daughters both grew in confidence during their time, enjoyed their days and we felt the care was second to none from the very first day. The most welcoming place, the very best staff. I would recommend this nursery in a heartbeat.

The whole nursery team has been amazing all these years. Our daughters are very happy here and Grasshoppers team has been a key part in helping them to become the loving and confident little girls they are now. Choosing Grasshoppers Nursery is one of the best decisions we have ever made and we don't hesitate to recommend it to everyone. The staff in every room is fantastic, really caring and gives them every opportunity to develop and learn. The nursery have plenty of resources and different activities every week, they all are very helpful and friendly and the rear garden is amazing, I have always loved seeing them playing in it. We are moving to another area of the country and we will be missing them greatly. During the last 5 years, Grasshoppers team have become part of our family and shared many of the great moments in the development of our girls. We will be leaving with many fond memories and knowing that the time they spent here, will be a key foundation on their development.

Very caring staff, my kids both went to Grasshoppers and both had an amazing time. They both never want to leave, made good friends. I will definitely recommend Grasshoppers to new parents who are looking for nursery for their kids.

My son has been at grasshoppers for just over 2 years and he has thrived there. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond. They always make you feel comfortable and I always know what he is up to by their parent zone app. I would not have picked a better setting for my son. Grasshoppers is without a doubt the best nursery in Aylesbury.

My daughter attended Grasshoppers for 5 months. I could not be happier with the experience. All the staff were extremely accessible, kind and always available for any query. My daughter was always happy in the morning every time I've dropped her there. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who wants their child to be properly looked after!

We could not recommend Grasshoppers Day Nursery enough! Our eldest progressed through each of the four rooms and they were all fantastic. The care and attention they received, the focus on their development, the social interactions with both staff and children, the consistent updates throughout their time there. We can not fault the staff throughout the whole nursery. Our youngest joined the Caterpillar's room and they were incredible! We knew they would be from our previous experience but the staff went above and beyond what was expected. Two extremely happy children and parents. A wonderful nursery setting with an exceptional staff!

Grasshoppers is a wonderful nursery. We have no doubt that the care provided has been exceptional. So much so, that our son was originally part-time at two nurseries, but we moved him to full-time at Grasshoppers as we were so impressed. The staff are so friendly and truly loved by our little boy. They have helped develop his self-confidence and love of learning. The management and support staff are amazing and so helpful. We have always felt well informed and able to ask any questions. The photos and updates received via the ParentZone app are a great way to feel more connected to the nursery and to help guide conversations with our son regarding what he's been up to. The countless difficulties the nursery has faced due to the pandemic have been handled exceptionally well and we are incredibly grateful to the Grasshoppers team for the lengths they have gone to in ensuring a safe, welcoming environment continues to be provided during this crazy time.

Dropping your child off at nursery can be such a daunting experience, however, from the moment I stepped into Grasshoppers all my apprehensions just melted away. The staff took such time and care getting to know my son and my family and we were made to feel so incredibly welcomed and there is such a sense of warmth and support throughout the whole nursery environment. I have daily updates letting me know how well my son has eaten and slept as well as wonderful photos and observations keeping me up to date with his learning and the progress he has made since his start date. Due to my child being born during the Covid-19 pandemic I was so worried he would not settle due to lack of social contact however the staff have settled him so well that there are no tears when I drop off which means I can do my daily job without having to worry. This nursery is Ofsted outstanding and you can see why, without a doubt, the love, care, teaching and support from every member of staff is second to none.

From day 1 the staff were caring and nurturing towards my daughter. They have helped her grow in self-confidence and plan activities that will help her develop in all areas of childhood. They look after the child as a whole and respond to any concerns or queries promptly, professionally and with a supportive and caring attitude, working alongside parents to help children grow and develop. My daughter has loved her time there.

My son has attended Grasshoppers for around two and a half years now and has absolutely thrived here. He really looks forward to his day and I’m always so pleased with the hugely varied topics they look at. They provide the parents with a weekly newsletter which details the theme they will be structuring the week around and this enables me to really engage with him after his day at preschool. I receive daily messages on what he has eaten and how much, which is really helpful. The nursery staff are absolutely fantastic. I cannot praise them highly enough. I feel so confident leaving my son there on his days in and know he will have a varied and engaging day. The huge garden is a massive plus and is used frequently, which my son loves. The management team are always very approachable and I really feel like I can always contact them with any questions/ concerns I have. This nursery/ preschool is fantastic and my son will hugely miss going but they have set him up well for starting school.

Food options are carefully thought out and the activities available are very good, especially the massive garden.

The staff are very attentive and accommodating. I am really pleased with Grasshoppers Day Nursery. The app is really good to check on my daughter's development.
