Grasshoppers Day Nursery (Aylesbury)

My son has been attending Grasshoppers Day Nursery for 9 months now and he loves it. My main priority is for him to be happy and he really is. The level of care is truly amazing, the staff show so much love towards him and all the other children, it is fantastic to see. My son is learning through activities and play that are tailored to his needs and interests, The food provided is brilliant, he even eats meat (never does for me). The garden is amazing. The management team are very welcoming and I feel that we are always kept up to date with info on our son's learning. Thank you Grasshoppers for a fantastic experience.

My daughter has attended Grasshoppers Aylesbury since August 2014 and it is a safe and secure facility and she bonded with her key worker very well. It has a fantastic outdoor space and great decking area in the bumblebee room where children can still play outside if the garden area is too wet to play in. The Refurbishment and extension to the Nursery finished just as my Daughter started at the nursery, the rooms are big and facilitate many different activities such as Music corner (which she loves), Home Corner, Book Corner and many more. The staff are friendly and the food menu is fantastic and has many different varieties of dishes. My Daughter is only leaving because she received a place at a Pre School that is attached to a School which has an outstanding reputation. If she had not received this place, I would be more than happy to leave her at Grasshopper's until school age and I would recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for a friendly, Professional caring environment for their child to attend.

My son has been attending Grasshoppers for 16 months and we have only ever had a positive experience. Leaving him for the first time as a 10 month old baby was extremely difficult but all of the staff helped him settle in so quickly and made him and us feel like part of the family. He became attached to his key worker to the extent that he talks about her all weekend and now doesn't want to leave her to move to the next room. There is always a wide variety of activities for him to complete and the outside space is superb! His speech and confidence have grown massively in the last few months and it's a pleasure picking him up each day and seeing how happy he is!

Over the last eight years my son and daughter have gone through this nursery. They were both very happy and content. The management and staff are all very approachable and extremely friendly. Both of them were sad to leave and us as parents will miss not going to nursery on a day to day basis and the staff are like an extended family to us. Both of them have been given a good start in learning basics to get them ready for school and all aspects of growing up.

We are very happy with the experience we have at the nursery on a day to day basis. My son clearly enjoys coming and has settled very well in both rooms he has been in. His recent transition to Ladybirds was well supported with gradual visits to integrate him to the group. He is always full of smiles when I pick him up and this makes us smile too! The range of toys and activities is well thought through and it is lovely that he gets to spend so much time outside now. The staff have all been really supportive and my son clearly likes being around them.
