Green Park Day Nursery (Reading)

Our child has been at Greenpark Nursery for a year now (she was nine months when she started). We have been extremely impressed with the standard of care and attention from all members of staff. She has been very confident from the beginning and the staff have reassured us throughout. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery.

Green Park Nursery always put the children first. The staff are very well organised and, during a difficult time, have retained their ability to provide a happy, safe and fun environment for all the children. Their communication with parents is excellent and we are always kept in the loop with how our daughter is doing. Most of all, we would recommend this nursery because our child has been so happy here and she’s always excited to go. Thank you to all for working so hard.

My little one loves nursery and to be honest all the ladies in Green Park. She feels happy and content with herself and it is so nice to see. I think all the ladies in Green Park that have looked over her since she has been there have been outstanding, and we couldn’t say thank you enough.

I am extremely grateful to Green Park Nursery and I am very impressed with the way you have and are handling the situation during this unprecedented time. Our daughter loves to come and has made great progress in a few months. All the staff have been very professional and creative to keep the little ones entertained (e.g. home cinema, music festival). At no time has my daughter felt anxious or worried about the current situation but stayed happy, confident and delighted to come to the nursery.

If you are thinking of sending your child to nursery you will be hard pushed to do better than here.

My son has been going to Green Park Nursery since August 2019 and he absolutely loves it there. He was a bit apprehensive at first due to being in a new place but it wasn't long until he was off with the staff and waving me goodbye. The staff are friendly, professional, and take the time to talk to parents which is great. The rooms are excellent, providing the right level of stimulation for the age of the children in the room as well as age-appropriate toys and activities. I particularly like that the nursery is open plan, so children can see each other in the other rooms, and the outdoor areas are shared. Since going to Green Park Nursery, my son has developed excellent social skills, has developed well emotionally and is given the right opportunities to make sure he meets the EYFS goals. I could not recommend this nursery more.

My daughter started here in July 2019 (10 months old) in the caterpillar room and has since moved up to ladybirds. It's an extremely well-run nursery and staff are super attentive. One can tell they are genuinely motivated in their jobs. The important point is that my daughter comes home happy every day and has bonded with so many staff there (even though they don't specifically work in her room). I had viewed other nurseries and Green Park stands out as being organised, reliable and clean. Worth mentioning that they have been so reliable during lockdown/these uncertain times to allow key workers to continue. They were quick in communicating to us the new procedure changes and gave us such peace of mind. Thank you.

She is attending nursery at the moment, and whilst the team are ‘only’ providing childcare, she is continuing to learn and advance and is getting. So much more than ‘just’ care. I can’t thank the team enough, and she loves all the staff at the nursery.

My daughter started attending Green Park Nursery in January at 10 months old, and although I have been worried about leaving her, she has settled in amazingly with all of the help and reassurance from the staff in the Caterpillar room. My daughter is learning new things every day and thriving under the care of the team at Green Park. The staff have also taken into consideration all of her needs and follow the routine she is in at home. We love this nursery!

The staff are very caring and diligent. The children are always entertained and active. My toddler has a fantastic time there every day. I was worried about my baby as it was his first time at nursery but the staff have been very patient and loving and he has settled in very well. The menus are healthy, varied and thoroughly appetising. Thank you, Green Park nursery!

All staff are extremely friendly, professional and polite, who are always very happy to help and nothing is too much. We cloth nappy and I breastfeed and this has been accommodated happily and comfortably. They were all very helpful and understanding when our little one was starting and they understand how hard it is to leave your child and make the process and transition smooth. The food provided is well balanced and nutritious, and there is a wide range of activities provided for the children to enjoy. We also get pictures at the end of the day to show us what our little one has been up to. My little one is happy here and enjoys nursery and we’re so pleased we picked this nursery!

Every time I pick my granddaughter up or drop her off, I enjoy the happy atmosphere in the preschool. All the staff are very friendly. Lovely environment for children. We'll done everybody!!

The staff is very friendly. My daughter learned to be independent. She is very well taken care off and happy at nursery. There are lots of activities that my daughter enjoys every day.

My daughter (2-years-old) has a very good relationship with all of the staff. She copy's and learns the communication, a lot from her key person and also other staff. She plays very well inside and outside, each day she wants to say bye-bye to the ladybird, and the traffic lights in different rooms. Eat good, play good, talk a lot, which lets me be relieved/assured about her. I think this is due to the kind staff and good management in the nursery. Thanks!

Green Park Day Nursery.

A big reason for choosing this nursery is also the working hours being 7.30 until 18:30. We do not have to worry about getting there in time for pick up.

My daughter has grown in confidence, she is very content and fully toilet trained. She loves coming to nursery and has learnt lots of new skills.

I have complete confidence when leaving my little one in Butterflies.

My son has been attending the Ladybird room for a year now and he loves it there, the activities they lay out are amazing and my son gains a lot of learning through his play. The handover at the end of the day is brilliant and always informative. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My niece attends the nursery and it's just amazing. The activities set up in the morning are very detailed and she loves it. For a 2-year-old she is very advanced and I believe this is because of the education and care of all the amazing staff.
