Green Park Day Nursery (Reading)

My son has been looked after by three lovely people. I was extremely happy that he had the right care by his key workers they were lovely and friendly. He is learning a lot of words and a happy baby in nursery. Thanks for all the ongoing activities and support to all.

The staff are all very friendly and make an effort to say hello and goodbye as you enter the building. I also get feedback daily in regards to her day which is always nice to hear. I would highly recommend Green Park Nursery to other parents.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. The staff that work there are amazing. My son is an only child and hasn't had many interactions with children of his age until he came to Green Park Nursery so it was a bit daunting for him and worrying for us. In his time here, the staff have gained his trust quickly and helped him massively and improved his social skills so much. After each day, they give me a round up of what he has done that day, whether it be a good or bad thing, including if he's slept and what he has eaten, these minute details are extremely important to my wife and I. He used to cry loudly when I dropped him off but now he happily latches onto one of the workers and always leaves a happy child and I can't thank them all enough for the work they have done with him. The standards are high and the improvements to my son's character are immeasurably. The only problem I see is that soup is a regular on the menu and my son doesn't like it, but he enjoys his bread rolls.

I am very pleased with the nursery. They are very attntative and have been addressing all our comments. Very well organised and managed.

I have been so impressed with my son's settling in to Green Park. The staff have been very helpful with all aspects, took time to explain the funding process and are patient and understanding with my son's speech delay, incorporating and supporting the strategies. In addition, they are all very friendly and welcoming.

My wife and I are very happy with how well our daughter is doing at Green Park Day Nursery. She has been attending now for 1 year and loved every minute of it. We are very lucky that she has formed such a strong bond with her lead carer, who moved up with her from Caterpillars to Ladybirds which made for a smooth transition, so much so that she runs into her arms every morning without even waving goodbye to her mum or I. Not only does she have a strong bond with her lead carer, but also the other teachers in her class who I cannot speak highly enough of.

My daughter who is in caterpillars started in July of this year at 9 months old. She settled in amazingly well and so quickly too. Her original key worker left after 3 weeks which I was disappointed in but was soon to be replaced by who I can only describe now as her “best friend”. My daughter absolutely adores her and is so delighted to see her each morning. They have a lovely relationship which shows in her diary of events on Parent Zone. The updates are fantastic to see and how detailed they are written. The descriptions show how much attention to detail they pay and how much fun they have at the same time. My daughter loves all the sensory areas they have in the room and enjoys cruising around their newly refurbished garden. The staff are very attentive and really take the time to get to know each child’s individual needs and dislikes. My daughter's secondary key worker is also fantastic and spends a lot of time with her which is very reassuring if her key worker is off.

My daughter has flourished under the care in Green Park Day Nursery. All staff are very understanding and patient, not only with my daughter but with me also and admin staff are also very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The level of service and education given is great and I highly recommend.

A nice and friendly nursery where children are taken good care of. It can be a bit more structured though and pre-school children can be taught specific subjects with a bit more discipline.

Sometimes there is miscommunication in handovers and a lack of consistency.

For me it is a day nursery of excellence.

This nursery is very nice. My son is very happy and I will recommend to friends and family about it if they want to look for something good for children.

My wife and I have been delighted with how well the staff at Green Park look after our son. The care is evident, well organised, great social areas both indoors and outdoors, creative activities to engage the little ones and a refreshingly healthy and interesting menu.

He seems happy and the staff plan a lot of activities to keep children engaged. The staff and management are both good and attentive.

This is a lovely Nursery, my little one has been there since she was one year old. They have lots of activities to keep children busy. Most staff are very nice and patient.

An outstanding nursery that helps my child with all of his developmental needs and the support required. My child arrives happy and leaves even happier. The nursery’s online platform keeps me regularly updated with all of my son's milestones and developmental achievements. I couldn’t be happier with Green Park.
