Green Park Day Nursery (Reading)

The first two weeks in the nursery were difficult for my son due to change of environment, like many other babies. The nursery manager decided to put him back on settle-in sessions to help him adapt better. It was a very smart suggestion and he is much happier now.

Fantastic nursery! My daughter started going to this nursery when she was 15 months. She was very unsettled initially but the staff very helpful in ensuring that she settled in happily, giving me such a peace of mind. She is now 2.5 years and over this time she has grown into a confident child and has made friends in there. The staff are very welcoming and keeps us updated on the child's progress regularly through the app as well as with personal updates. The nursery itself is very clean, well lit with an open plan, separate sleeping areas and beautiful gardens for each age group. The food is well balanced and freshly prepared. I will never look for another nursery for my daughter. I can see that she is so happy in there and learning a lot. Would highly recommend this nursery.

Only criticism is not being made aware in advance of any non-exclusion but contagious illness until the morning of arrival. I would like to know in advance so I can decide and plan if he attends.

Very caring, nurturing staff. Also well resourced and warm, welcoming environment. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable of what they are doing.

My son really enjoys going to Green Park Day Nursery. He always has a smile on his face when I go to pick him up. The staff are very attentive and have good feedback for me. The activities they layout always look attractive and inviting. Everyone is very friendly and it feels like a homely environment. I would highly recommend this nursery.

In a nutshell, my experience was not good at this place.

I have had 2 of my kids attend this nursery and it has been a very good decision. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Anytime you call or go to see them they are always ready and happy to assist with whatever queries or request. The environment has a positive vibe to it. The children always look happy and yes they do learn loads there. Play areas for the little ones are neat, bright and spacious as well as colourful. Will definitely recommend to friends.

The staff are fantastic, and very welcoming and make sure every question you have is answered and they are very proactive. I have already recommended this nursery to a friend whose child also loves it. The toys are lovely at the nursery and always kept in a good condition.

My daughter has settled really well after a rocky start. She has a good bond with the staff, especially her key person. The observations are lovely to read.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend Green Park Day Nursery to anyone thinking of joining, my son has truly enjoyed his time there and we are sad to say bye!

Green Park have been amazing settling my 2 children into nursery. They both love it! Really great activities for my 5-month-old and 3-year-old. They are meeting all of our needs every day. A big thank you!

Over the past 3 years, both of my sons have attended Green Park Day Nursery. From caterpillars to preschool we were very pleased with the staff, food and most importantly the care they gave. Nothing is perfect and when we did have an issue with potty training in preschool I was pleased that on making a formal complaint the issue was addressed immediately. I would highly recommend Green Park Day Nursery to my friends and family.

My two children are attending the nursery. They both adapted quickly and love it there. The staff very helpful and kind. I see great improvement in my children's development. The nursery is clean and pleasant. The only downside is slightly high fees but I still think it is worth it.

I would highly recommend this nursery, it is way above any of the others I viewed.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery since March this year and all this while the experience has been very good; our key person takes good care and attention to our daughter and her efforts are well supplemented by other members of the team. The app is also very good and it is populated quite regularly, and in a detailed manner which provides a nice picture of the day our daughter experienced.

The toys are appropriate to the child's age and books and music can be often heard at story time or nursery rhymes songs and actions by the children. They are happy and eager to sing along. Staff always know their first name and always professional and friendly. Special thanks to all staff who do an amazing job with our precious children. Thanks to all the lovely staff who start our days with a smile. You're all pretty amazing.

Very good day nursery. I am confident our daughter was very well looked after, she made many friends, learnt to be ready for school (counting, writing some letters) being independent in the toilet (eating by herself). I would recommend it to anyone.

Both my daughters have attended full time here, loved every second of their stay and learnt lots. Thank you Green Park for everything.

Staff, are extremely helpful and friendly, and during her time at the nursery, my daughter has progressed well in readiness for school.

We love the nursery especially the staff. We have always felt welcomed and briefed about our child's day. Very happy with the quality of staff and activities. Would be great to recommend it to anyone.
