Inglewood is simply amazing. The only thing I would change is it's location as it's not in the village I live. Can't fault it in any way, they always keep me well informed, respond very well to all of our requests and my daughter loves going there every morning.

My daughter hasn’t been at nursery long but in the time that she has, she has really enjoyed it! The girls in her room are lovely and very supportive in the morning when I drop her off upset, they always know how to cheer her up very quickly! She is very fond of a certain member of staff who is also her key person, which is lovely to see that she has built strong relationships so quickly. I feel completely confident in leaving her in their care and trust them to look and care for her well. She always comes home telling me what fun things she has done during the day which is great. I can tell that she loves it here and is very happy in her room.

I attended Inglewood Nursery in 1996. I have such great memories of being there. I knew that was the only place that I would send my child. I was so happy when I took my daughter there to have a look around and I knew instantly that I wanted her to start straight away. The quality of care is outstanding, the facilities are amazing. I would highly recommend Inglewood to anyone wanting to put their child in full-time or part-time childcare.

Not a bad word to say.

From the moment our daughter started at Inglewood we have been certain we made the right choice for her. The staff helped us and her settle in quickly providing us with pictures to show how happy she was despite tears when we left and picked her up. Her development, through the staff's support and guidance, has exceeded our expectations. She now runs in in the morning and is smiling happily when we pick her up making us very happy. Our only reservation is the door security but we are aware that they are reviewing this.

My daughter has attended Inglewood since she was a baby and she is now in her final year. She loves going and is always excited to arrive in the morning. All of the staff are brilliant and there are proper handovers at each end of the day so you can discuss any concerns. The children do a really wide range of activities and the nursery has lots of great resources for them to use, and a lovely garden and pool. She is a very happy and confident little girl. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery to other parents.

December has been a lovely Christmassy month at Inglewood Day Nursery with the pre-school children putting on a wonderful nativity. I've been impressed with how well the team put the show together, practising the songs in particular - I never knew my daughter had such a memory!

The place looks lovely and Christmassy and the children have made lots of beautiful decorations.

I always find the team co-ordinate and link to seasonal and national events in a well-thought through, and meaningful manner.

Inglewood is a wonderful nursery. The facilities and staff are great. My son loves his time there and has flourished under Inglewood's care. One of the best things about this nursery is the support outside nursery hours. So many of the staff are more than happy to look after our son which is a tremendous benefit to us and takes the stress out of long days at work or unforeseen circumstances.

My son was initially at a different setting which he absolutely loved, however, whilst looking around for preschools Inglewood was recommended to myself and my husband. We decided to have a look, we were very impressed with what Inglewood had to offer. What impressed us the most was the outside space, something our sons current setting lacked. So we made the decision to put our son in Inglewood, it was the right decision as he settled in very well and has flourished. I now also have my second son at Inglewood and he also has settled in very well. I cannot fault the nursery and the staff here are really amazing. Both my boys love being here. They both have such good relationships with their peers and the staff. The staff really have shown a genuine care of duty for my boys with the transition to helping them settle in well. I would totally recommend Inglewood.

My 8-month-old daughter started Inglewood in Sep as I got back to work full time. The anxiety of a new mom leaving the child behind was soon put to rest by the excellent care my daughter received at Maple 1 room. The staff are fantastic and my husband and I really appreciate the effort they make to keep us updated on her daily activities and developments. Outstanding Ofsted rating, Spacious rooms, massive outdoor space, attentive and responsive staff are few of the many key strengths of the nursery. My daughter has skin issues/allergies and needs extra care and the staff have been very accommodating and understanding. Thank you and we are very confident that our daughter will thrive in such an environment as she is happy and excited every morning to go to the nursery.

My little girl has been attending Inglewood since she was 3 months old. She is now 16 months and I have not had a single day I have left her at nursery feeling worried or concerned. My little girl only does one day and the staff have ensured her transition to nursery life has been uncomplicated and settling. I can not praise the staff for their open and friendly attitude making not only my little girl feel welcome but myself too. They are so friendly and hands on with the children, listening to your requests and concerns and ensuring they know your child's needs every day. They give detailed reports of the day and take regular photos so you do not feel you are missing out on their development. We are having to leave the nursery due to myself taking a job closer to my home and I can not thank or praise the staff at Inglewood enough for the time and effort they have put into my little girl's development! Thank you and we will miss you.

Inglewood is a beautiful setting and very homely. The staff are amazing and my child's needs are met day in day out, he wants for nothing at Inglewood.
Every day on pick up I get fed back to about how he has been that day what he has been doing, it's always so lovely to hear. The garden is also amazing.

The staff are extremely good at comforting the children, ensuring they are happy and safe. We love Inglewood and highly recommend it.

Very supportive of parents and children's needs. Lovely environment for children to learn and develop as they prepare for school. My son has speech delays, the nursery are working with me to improve this alongside the hospital. They are allowing specialists to come in to the nursery to aid and train them further to assist with his progression. Assigned co parent to each child is an excellent touch allowing each child to feel safe and secure whilst with them.

Both of our children have been and are at Inglewood and we couldn't be more happy with the time they have spent there. It has an amazing setting, with a very large garden and a private pool! Staff are very personable, caring and get to know all children, ones not even in their room. There are activities run at various times throughout the year which the whole family can join in with. It's like one big happy family there.

Laura Job Title:Nursery ManagerJoined: 2008

Hello, I'm Laura the Nursery Manager and I've been working in childcare since 2008. I started as an apprentice, completing my Levels 2 and 3 and then worked my way up to a manager’s position. During this time, I completed my BA (Hons) in Children’s Development and Learning.

I'm passionate about creating environments that enable children to learn and develop in their own unique ways and watching the challenge themselves to build the foundations for life.

Outside of nursery life, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also have a 1-year-old daughter who I enjoy watching grow and develop.

Jenna
Jenna Job Title:Deputy ManagerJoined: 2012

Hello, my name is Jenna Carter, and I am excited to be part of the Inglewood family alongside Sam in a joint deputy position.

I have worked for Bright Horizons for 12 years and have been in various roles starting with the children in the rooms and progressing into management, which has given me good-quality knowledge and endless opportunities to develop further. I have an NVQ Level 3 and a diploma in business, working in one single Bright Horizons nursery for 11 years. I then had the opportunity to manage another Bright Horizons nursery where I have been for just over a year, I am now relishing the opportunity to join a team closer to home and bring new ideas to the setting to support in continuing to raise the standards at Inglewood.

I am passionate about children and building their confidence, and individual characters and becoming independent young people, bringing different opinions and ideas through play.

I believe that the team is the foundation of a successful nursery, having a positive and open partnership between families and the nursery is crucial for communication regarding the children and having their best interests at heart.

Samantha
Samantha Job Title:Deputy Manager

Hello my name is Sam and I have worked for Bright Horizons at Inglewood Nursery for 4 years. I have worked in Early Years for 18 years and in that time gained my BA HONS degree in Early Years Learning and Development and my Early Years Practitioner Status. During my time in the sector I have worked in a variety of settings from independent nurseries to term time preschools. I also spent a year in Ireland as an au pair and also ran a village preschool catering for children aged 2 to 4 years.

I am very passionate about the care and development of children particularly through their environments and the skills of the practitioners working with them. I enjoy training and developing a team and enhancing their own knowledge through what I have learnt over the years, and providing support to those staff who what to continue to develop their knowledge through accredited courses.

I am a mother of 2 boys aged 4 and 6 who both attended Inglewood nursery which enables me to see the setting from both a practitioner's view as well as a parental view. Inglewood is based in Sonning very close to the village and we have over the years developed a wonderful relationship with the community. We are continuing to build relationships with local businesses’ and schools and work holistically with local settings also.

As a full time working mum I understand how challenging it can be and aim to not only support the children in our setting but also their families and the challenges that can arise for busy working parents.

In my spare time I enjoy taking my two boys here there and everywhere for various escapades and adventures, which usually involve treasure hunting. We have a family dog who is usually brought along with us and living in Sonning myself we know the area very well for walks and being able to explore the beautiful countryside we have around us. When I’m not with my boys I can usually be found on the sofa with a book.
