My daughter started at this nursery 2 years ago (now in her last year) and settled in extremely well. The nursery staff were so attentive and caring she loved it. We had used the nursery for 3 years previously with my son who also loved it and it was good to see it hadn't lost any of the great values it had then. The facilities and outdoor space are brilliant, not to mention having swimming pool access too. The office staff are always incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.
From the initial welcome and sign up, almost two years ago now, to the present day, they have been outstanding. Our son has been very happy there, and the staff go the extra mile to make you and your child feel important and cared for. They have assisted in his personal development and social skills. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
A fantastic environment for the children. My son loves attending and learns so much each day. The facilities and grounds are exceptional.
My son started at Inglewood at the beginning of January and has settled in really well. He loves all the activities and the garden is amazing. His older sister had attended Inglewood for nearly 4 years before starting school and it was lovely to return and to see that it continues to meet the high standards that it always has.
I was very worried about putting my son into a nursery. I was immediately made to feel extremely comfortable during the setting in sessions and found the staff extremely compassionate and caring towards my son. They have noticed little habits that I thought I only knew and he loved attending nursery. The food is lovely and the facilities available are wonderful. It’s such a treat to receive the little bits of art that he does. The Valentine’s Day card was lovely. Thank you to all at Inglewood.
The nursery is in a great setting and the staff are wonderful. Both of my kids love it here and look forward to going to nursery everyday.
My son has only just started at the nursery, but we've been nothing but impressed. The staff are really great and seem to really love their jobs. He has settled in really quickly and enjoys the fabulous outdoor space too.
My wife and I have recently had a baby and I have been off work for 3 weeks. I have been taking my son to nursery every day and have really got to know the team at Inglewood, and I have been very impressed. It is a very well organised, well planned and very well delivered. I have met some amazing people and watched how they look after our son and other children. I strongly recommend this nursery for its standards, level of care and team.
Staff and facilities are amazing in Maple 1. Our son is well looked after, cared for and stimulated.
My child is kept active and happy throughout the day and is able to have both French lessons and swimming lessons.
The care my child has received has been outstanding. The staff form strong bonds with the children which is lovely.
Inglewood is an excellent nursery. It provides a safe and happy environment and excellent facilities including a swimming pool and great gardens. The staff seem to know and understand the individual children and provide excellent care. The only negative is the traffic getting to Inglewood! I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery.
Staff seem to interact well with the children and help to address any concerns about the children.
The baby room staff, in particular, are great, very friendly and welcoming and warm to the young ones and work well to settle each individual in. They adapt to changing situations and routines and always work to what is best for the child.
Having a separate sleep room with proper cots for the babies is excellent.
My 1 year old has settled in here better than I could have ever expected and he loves it. The nursery staff are so caring and make me feel very reassured about leaving my baby here. I couldn’t ask from more from a nursery and would highly recommend to anyone. I was particularly impressed with their outside space and swimming pool which I hope he will use more when he is older.
Great nursery. My son is very happy and well cared for. Staff are attentive, activities are varied and age appropriate. He spends time outside every day and eats all sorts of food he wouldn’t touch at home.
Very happy with the standard of education that my three year old son is receiving from the nursery. We can see a huge difference from when he has started till date.
I couldn't recommend Inglewood highly enough......
Bright Horizons Inglewood Day Nursery and Preschool is a truly excellent nursery and preschool; both our daughters are extremely happy there. Our eldest (aged 4) has been going for almost a year, and loves it: the staff are wonderful, the garden space outstanding with lots of time spent outside, the food is great, and the range of activities just fantastic. Our youngest (12 months) has only just joined, but again the staff have been wonderful with her, and in a matter of a few weeks, she’s become very happy there.
The baby room is spacious and clean, with a wide range of toys and activities, a lovely, large, enclosed outside space and again, a great food offering. And a truly special touch was the gift bag I received when she started, with some treats inside and a lovely poem, recognising how hard it can be to leave your little ones in daycare. I feel so confident that the staff are taking the very best care of my children - and who could ask for more? Highly, highly recommend.
Amazing, caring, helpful and extremely skilled staff. Food is lovely and very good preparation for any event in the nursery.
My Son joined Inglewood full time in November 2016, when he was just 10 months old and I can honestly say that I am so happy with my choice of Nursery in Inglewood Day Nursery, it has certainly made my return to work so much easier knowing he is so cared for.
My son who is now 2 just loves it, he gets excited about going in. The staff have been just amazing throughout, from the very first settling days to everyday care, they show him so much love and allow him to excel in such a creative and loving environment, the variety of creative play and learning they provide has really shown through in the fun-loving cheeky toddler I now have.
The food provided by the nursery is also amazing it is freshly prepared every day and they provide such a variety of food choices which changes on a 4 weekly basis; my son always comes home with a very full tummy.
Such an amazing Nursery. They have helped my 9-month-old settle in amazingly. She wasn’t the easiest baby, had issues with reflux and is very hard to get to nap but they listened to all our needs and accommodated her so very well. The ladies in Maple 1 are so so lovely and friendly, my little girl beams when she sees them. They provide excellent handovers and always listen and act on any requests from us. They really get the know the children, and mine only goes twice a week. Couldn’t be happier.

Meet the Team (3)
Hello, I'm Laura the Nursery Manager and I've been working in childcare since 2008. I started as an apprentice, completing my Levels 2 and 3 and then worked my way up to a manager’s position. During this time, I completed my BA (Hons) in Children’s Development and Learning.
I'm passionate about creating environments that enable children to learn and develop in their own unique ways and watching the challenge themselves to build the foundations for life.
Outside of nursery life, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also have a 1-year-old daughter who I enjoy watching grow and develop.
Hello, my name is Jenna Carter, and I am excited to be part of the Inglewood family alongside Sam in a joint deputy position.
I have worked for Bright Horizons for 12 years and have been in various roles starting with the children in the rooms and progressing into management, which has given me good-quality knowledge and endless opportunities to develop further. I have an NVQ Level 3 and a diploma in business, working in one single Bright Horizons nursery for 11 years. I then had the opportunity to manage another Bright Horizons nursery where I have been for just over a year, I am now relishing the opportunity to join a team closer to home and bring new ideas to the setting to support in continuing to raise the standards at Inglewood.
I am passionate about children and building their confidence, and individual characters and becoming independent young people, bringing different opinions and ideas through play.
I believe that the team is the foundation of a successful nursery, having a positive and open partnership between families and the nursery is crucial for communication regarding the children and having their best interests at heart.
Hello my name is Sam and I have worked for Bright Horizons at Inglewood Nursery for 4 years. I have worked in Early Years for 18 years and in that time gained my BA HONS degree in Early Years Learning and Development and my Early Years Practitioner Status. During my time in the sector I have worked in a variety of settings from independent nurseries to term time preschools. I also spent a year in Ireland as an au pair and also ran a village preschool catering for children aged 2 to 4 years.
I am very passionate about the care and development of children particularly through their environments and the skills of the practitioners working with them. I enjoy training and developing a team and enhancing their own knowledge through what I have learnt over the years, and providing support to those staff who what to continue to develop their knowledge through accredited courses.
I am a mother of 2 boys aged 4 and 6 who both attended Inglewood nursery which enables me to see the setting from both a practitioner's view as well as a parental view. Inglewood is based in Sonning very close to the village and we have over the years developed a wonderful relationship with the community. We are continuing to build relationships with local businesses’ and schools and work holistically with local settings also.
As a full time working mum I understand how challenging it can be and aim to not only support the children in our setting but also their families and the challenges that can arise for busy working parents.
In my spare time I enjoy taking my two boys here there and everywhere for various escapades and adventures, which usually involve treasure hunting. We have a family dog who is usually brought along with us and living in Sonning myself we know the area very well for walks and being able to explore the beautiful countryside we have around us. When I’m not with my boys I can usually be found on the sofa with a book.
