Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford)

Starting our 6-month-old little boy in nursery was a tough decision, but the whole team have made it a really easy and stress-free process. The staff in the room go above and beyond to cater to our son's needs on a daily basis, adapting routines and activities for his benefit. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who wishes for a second family to take care of their children when we can't.

The Cedar Park Nursery team are all great. My 2 children are extremely happy here and the staff are always so welcoming.

The nursery provides so many stimulating activities for the children - lots of water play, sensory activities and outdoor play in a natural environment every day.

My daughter is currently in the caterpillar room. Being able to go to work and feel that your child is in the best possible hands is priceless. My daughter's key carer and all the staff in the room are so warm and professional. As soon as we arrive at the nursery my daughter smiles and is always happy at the end of the day.

We moved from Norway to Twyford at the beginning of this year. As my son was used to attending a Norwegian kindergarten where the children play outside for at least 4 hours a day no matter the weather, I was so pleased to find Cedar Park with its excellent outside facilities and its focus on forest school and outside learning. The classrooms are large, full of interesting activities and play areas and the children can play outside anytime they like. We always get a good debrief of what our son has been up to at the end of each day along with his nap time and how well he has eaten. The food is wholesome and nutritious with lots of variation. I would highly recommend the nursery.

We chose CP because of the great outdoor spaces and decked areas with sand pits etc, and he has really enjoyed playing outside over the summer months.

The outside space is second to none and they make great use of it - from Olympic-themed sports events to bug hunts to growing beans.

They are excellent at keeping in touch and ensuring that we are sharing information on my child's development. Things like parent first aid training and socials are lovely touches too and give a genuine family feel, it doesn't feel like part of a big chain.

My work hours can vary and the management team are wonderful about trying to accommodate extra days when they can. At times the early drop-off or late pick-up compared to other nurseries has totally saved the day.

The thing that makes me recommend them so highly, more than any of the practicalities above, is the genuine care, enthusiasm, and support shown by every member of the team. My daughter thinks they are all wonderful. They take real pride in her development, and always find time to talk about anything that we need to discuss. Worth every penny.

Would definitely recommend this nursery. My daughter has been attending this nursery for over a year now on a full- time basis . The staff take good care of the children and have been very supportive during the settling in phase. It is a very safe environment and we love the outdoor space which keeps children active. Children learn a lot through the day here and all look very happy! My daughter enjoys her time here and that what matters the most!

My daughter has attended Cedar Park Day Nursery for 3 years and we have been so happy with the care she has received there. All the staff are educated, caring and thoughtful and we are so grateful to them for looking after her from 15months to 4 1/2 years old through the different developmental stages and keeping us informed and reassured every step of the way. She has loved going to nursery and it is a credit to Cedar Park Day Nursery that she will now be starting school with social confidence, an ability to listen to teachers, and be inquiring and interested in the world around her. On a practical level, the meals are exceptional, the feedback is thorough, activities are inspired, and staff are all incredibly competent. I would recommend Cedar Park without a doubt to all parents who would want only the very best for their child.

Cedar park is beautiful. In my personal opinion it's a whole world above many others. From our very first initial visit we felt comfortable and excited for the new adventure before us. The meals the children are provided with are full hearty healthy dinners which I found massively impressive. The industrial kitchen just tops the place off. Massive rooms full of everything your child could desire and not to even mention the massive outdoor space that your children had to run and explore in the garden. The nursery is remarkable and we feel so very blessed to part of the Cedar Park family.

On the face of it most nurseries have good standards obviously, but what's additionally important to us and makes Cedar Park a great place for our child is the genuinely happy and caring team of staff across the whole site. The nutritious and wholesome cooked food, and the location/site/building. Also feel an interesting place for our child to learn.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Cedar Park now and she has formed such strong bonds with the staff in the baby room. I couldn't feel happier with the experience I've had at Cedar Park and would highly recommend it!

Very happy with the service provided by Cedar Park. The children love attending and all the staff go above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible. The learning journey of the children has come along in leaps and bounds since coming.

The staff in the baby room (Caterpillars) have been amazing at settling my daughter into the nursery. She was a little bit unsettled in her first two weeks when I dropped her off in the mornings, but after lots of work and patience by the staff she now is very happy going to them, which as a mother is a relief! She has a great nursery routine now, sleeps very well during the day, really enjoys playing there and eats very well. She is developing very quickly and this is in part due to the varied activities provided in the room. She and I are very happy at Cedar Park.

The staff are warm and caring. My daughter has food allergies and great care is taken to accommodate her diet. The grounds are fabulous too.
