Cedar Park is situated within 2.5 acres of rural, picturesque grounds. Providing daily access to all age groups, the fantastic outdoor space helps to support emotional and physical development.

They have a Childbase specialised woodland play area which brings the classroom outside into the natural world with sessions led by a qualified forest school leader.

A vegetable patch allows children to grow, harvest and taste their own produce which is served by a dedicated nursery chef.

The nursery teaches children to care about the world they live in and are proud to have gained an Eco-Schools green flag award

Cedar Park offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every other Wednesday for their Bumblebee and Butterflies room, and on a Friday for the Preschool room.

They offer a convenient service to parents, opening 7.30-6.30 Monday to Friday and a fully-inclusive package.

Our son has settled in well at Cedar Park. There always seems to be lots of fun activities in the Bumblebee room to keep him entertained and help with his development. The outdoor space is excellent. They also arrange for external companies to come in for fun events such as having a mini farm on site.
The team in Bumblebees and also the Management team are friendly and supportive.

The facilities at Cedar Park are outstanding, and the range of activities that are on offer for the children are fantastic. Great food, great facilities in the rooms, and amazing outdoor space. Hygiene and maintenance are all of a very high standard. All of this is great but the real highlight of the
nursery is the team that work there. From the manager and the ladies on the desk, always with a warm welcome every morning, to the teams in bumblebees and preschool. All the team are fantastic people who show a real genuine interest in the children’s lives and development. We would recommend Cedar Park to anyone, and have enrolled our second child already. Thanks to all of the team, they genuinely do an amazing job.

Excellent support provided to my youngest (2 years and 8 months) with potty training. Staff regularly going the extra mile to help with the 'terrible twos'. Happily, daughter appears to be coming out the other side. Love having a Spanish speaking assistant as daughter now singing in Spanish!

Out little boy is about to move up a room and is going to be very difficult saying goodbye to the wonderful ladies who looked after him for his first 6 months. He has come along so far under their supervision and thrived in the nursery environment.
He has made a special connection with a few of the
ladies and you can tell that they genuinely care about his happiness and well being. They have encouraged his love of music and books and messy play as well as teaching him the basic of walking, eating with a spoon, sign language and now even some talking. We are very grateful for the personalised care our boy receives.

My third child has just settled wonderfully into Caterpillars Baby room. He's happy and playful and only the mildest 'wobble' at drop off. The room is full of fascinating things to explore and the staff are so caring and nurturing. My elder son is now at preschool and has flourished throughout. We particularly
appreciate the wonderful outdoor space and independent mindset eg serving their own breakfast. The menu is superb. It's nice to know they've eaten something wholesome so I can treat them at weekends.

Since some recent changes in Ladybirds with our son's key worker and room leader, the experience has been great. It's clear to see how happy our son has been on his days here. Prior to the changes, we had some issues but felt these were dealt with really well by management.

My son is just completing his first week at nursery. The staff have been fantastic with helping to settle him in and make him feel comfortable, welcome and happy. I have been extremely happy with Cedar Park since my son joined. Every staff member has been excellent and very caring towards my son. The outdoor facilities, in particular, are amazing and knowing they are outside as much as possible is very positive. I couldn't recommend Cedar Park more highly and
will be very sad to say goodbye in September when my son starts school.

My youngest son has been at this nursery for nearly a year now. We are very happy with every aspect of his care. The outdoor space is amazing and the opportunity to do forest school is not something many other nurseries do.
The staff are friendly and caring. Everything is well organised. There is flexibility
which we have not encountered with other nurseries. The long opening hours are very useful too for working parents.
My son is 4 on 31 August so will be the youngest in his school year. I feel more confident now about him settling into school at such a young age as the nursery prepares them very well for school.

My son has attended Cedar Park since September 2017. In this time his speech and language skills have developed so much. This can only be from all the wonderful staff at Cedar Park. It is such a noticeable change in our son and others have noticed his development. We feel very proud.

Rachael is the Manager of Cedar Park Day Nursery and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the Early Years sector for 18 years. Rachael has numerous qualifications, including a BA (Hons) in Children's Learning and Development and a Level 3 Forest School Leader.


What is your favourite feature of your nursery?
The amazing outdoor space, including our Forest School where the children can take part in exciting activities such as campfire building and den making.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I am proud of how my team go above and beyond to create a welcoming and inviting environment for both the children and their families.
