Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford)

My son has been attending Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford) for nearly 4 years and is now in his final year currently in preschool. I would highly recommend the Butterflies team/Team Leader member of staff, she was excellent at teaching Spanish, great attention to detail in relaying information to me at collection, all of the children loved her and she always came up with great activities for the children to do. In my opinion, the Butterflies team/Team Leader is a very valued member of the team and always goes the extra mile to ensure the children are happy, enjoy their day and learn as much as they can in a very fun way.

There are many good points about this nursery, naming few; great environment, friendly facilities, varied food choices, great communication across all starting from the very nice receptionist, supportive nursery manager to all teachers who put so much effort and even the most friendly cook lady I've ever known! Thanks to all and especially Butterflies team and its Team Leader, my child has a fantastic time at the nursery. She put so much effort in the development of children, teaching them Spanish and most important having days full of fun and happiness! She put so much effort into making this place great, somewhere where children are in the centre of attention and they feel like part of a community.

Overall, we made a great choice in selecting Cedar Park for our daughter. Thank you to everyone for your support so far!

My son has been at Cedar Park for just over a year now. Initially, he struggled to settle in and drop-offs were quite stressful as he would get quite upset when we tried to leave. However, after Christmas, there has been a room shift and the classes are now smaller as a result of the build. What a change we have seen in him, so much happier and his confidence has massively improved. I think he gets more attention now and is lapping it up. Staff are lovely and genuinely care about the kids. He loves his cuddles with one girl in particular in the morning and we can go to work relaxed that he seems happy.

The handovers are seamless and my daughter is thriving in the fabulous environment.

Would love more updates on the app. Our daughter has settled in well and I feel comfortable she is well looked after. The food seems great and she is eating amazingly. I hope their space is as good when they move upstairs - especially outdoor access.

Excellent staff and the care they provide is outstanding. Facilities for sleeping could be improved - a separate area.

I like the updates via the app, but think it should include information on the activities that the caterpillar's group have partaken in and food notes, save the additional paper! The staff in the caterpillar room have been very welcoming, and I feel the children are well looked after and numbers seem about right. I'm very happy we chose Cedar Park Day Nursery for our son.

An excellent summary of key first aid procedures for emergencies, well explained. Really useful to have access to this kind of training through the nursery.

We have been really impressed with the care our son has received at Cedar Park. The staff have played a huge role in helping him settle into his new environment. Friendly, smiling and caring faces always greet him in the morning. He has only been here for 2 months, and already he had developed in so many ways. Fantastic. He is very happy here. Thank you.

Cedar Park has made my child's transition to nursery a breeze, they're all very helpful and caring. I couldn't ask for more.

Fantastic nursery, clean and tidy (well until the kids are let loose!). Parents and kids are greeted with smiles by friendly, staff who know all the kids' names. Our daughter attends Caterpillars and our experience has been very positive, would highly recommend. To be expected the first week there were some tears (parents and child), the team offered lots of care and comfort and she is now super excited to get to nursery! Little ones get lots of fun activities to do, toys to play with and play outdoors regularly which is great. The team are fun, friendly, supportive and nurturing, it gives you confidence that your child is truly being cared for. Daily feedback including how well she’s eaten, nappy changes and sleep times keeps us informed. We also love the picture updates and information on the app, seeing her happy and engaging in activities is great. To sum up, Cedar Park is a happy place that’s organised and well run and The Caterpillar team are just totally awesome!

Such a lovely group of ladies who look after my daughter, always really attentive, kind, professional and friendly. I couldn't wish for my daughter to be left with anyone better. Thank you to everyone at Cedar Park.

The only reservation I have had is the introduction of ducks, have concerns about faeces and childrens hands after being outside.

This is my second child who has attended this nursery. Both have been so happy here which I attribute to the staff. Children are loved and cared for in a stimulating environment resulting in confident happy children, which is all a parent can ask for. We have recently left Ladybirds and the transition and new staff in the room are continuing the style of child-focussed excellent care.

We have two children that attend Cedar Park Day Nursery, five days a week. Both children absolutely love spending time at the nursery. The facilities are fantastic and being able to spend significant amounts of time outside in the gardens come rain or shine, is great for their learning and development. The staff have been excellent over the past three years and the eldest has been equipped with wonderful social skills, which will help with the transition to school. We would highly recommend the nursery.

Both of our boys love coming to Cedar Park and we are delighted with the care they receive. Both boys are extremely happy and developing really well. The teachers appear to love working here and really go the extra mile with the children, would strongly recommend Cedar Park.
