I have been extremely happy with Cedar Park since my son joined. Every staff member has been excellent and very caring towards my son. The outdoor facilities, in particular, are amazing and knowing they are outside as much as possible is very positive. I couldn't recommend Cedar Park more highly and will be very sad to say goodbye in September when my son starts school.
Our son has been really happy at Cedar Park Day Nursery (Twyford). He's really come on in 'Butterflies' thanks in particular to the staff who have all taken special care to help him develop. Its been really good for school and he is really happy here.
An absolutely amazing place! My son has flourished in such a supportive and nurturing environment. Thanks so much for all your hard work and support.
The staff are friendly and caring. Everything is well organised. There is flexibility which we have not encountered with other nurseries. The long opening hours are very useful too for working parents.
My son is 4 on 31 August so will be the youngest in his school year. I feel more confident now about him settling into school at such a young age as the nursery prepares them very well for school.
I am always pleased that my daughter attends the nursery for the care that she experiences here. The range of activities that she can do every day is fantastic. All the staff are lovely, caring and engaged. The menu is varied and healthy.
As a parent, I have complete trust and confidence in entrusting the care of my child to this wonderful team.
My son has attended Cedar Park since September 2017. In this time his speech and language skills have developed so much. This can only be from all the wonderful staff at Cedar Park. It is such a noticeable change in our son and others have noticed his development. We feel very proud.
She gives into a happy, good heart, confident girl and all the grounds by the time she left pre-school. 5 months into school now and she is reading very well and I know Cedar Park gave her a fantastic base.
The keyworker is great and my daughter is always excited to see her.
The staff in Ladybirds are very good. Our keyworker has a great bond with my daughter. Every morning he is so welcoming. I feel he looks after her and cares for her like his own. She is always very happy when I pick her up. I am extremely happy at Cedar Park.
My son has really settled into preschool and is really developing well there. His keyworker's support with potty training has been invaluable and his patience incredible at times!
The staff are all welcoming and provide constructive feedback and ideas. This month he has particularly enjoyed Forest school.
Cedar Park has always been a warm and friendly place for our child to spend time. Importantly she has fun... Whilst she is learning of course.
The recent "positive parenting" workshop ar CedarPark was a really useful, informal session packed with helpful advice and ideas. It was also a great opportunity to learn about the resources and strategies used within the nursery to promote positive behaviour. I also enjoyed the rare chance to spend time with other parents and hear about their challenges. There was a lovely encouraging atmosphere and it was lead very sensitively and yet confidentially. Thank you - I'm looking forward to the next one.
My son has attended Cedar Park for 3 years and has enjoyed every day there. Recently, Forest school has launched and he's loved it. It's helped him with his confidence to tackle challenges, team working and problem-solving.
The teachers are fantastic, letting the children work out problems for themselves, teaching them how to use new tools, build fires and climb obstacles - the last day they made a campfire and toasted marshmallows, very popular with my son!
The Forest school facilities are fantastic, well contained, safe and yet big enough to let the children explore and be adventurous.
The addition of Forest school to the Cedar Park curriculum makes this an even better place for my son to learn and grow, it's just a shame it's only a 10-week programme.
Our daughter has been attending Cedar Park for nearly eighteen months now. It has always been a terrific experience for her, with a multitude of exciting areas to explore and a real focus on nurturing and developing her particular interests whilst still encouraging her to try new things and break her barriers. Recently 'Forest School' learning was launched and in the few weeks she has been attending the sessions, her confidence in her abilities, as well as her confidence in working with and around others, has started to blossom - Cedar Park has outdoor facilities second to none, but now actually bringing the learning from the inside to the outside in a natural environment, takes it up yet another notch.
I could not recommend this nursery enough and the team in 'Bumblebees' room are just incredible, a hard nursery to top in my opinion.
I have had 2 children at Cedar Park for the last year since we moved to the area and we have been absolutely thrilled to find such a great place for them to spend their days while we are working. They attend 3 days a week and thoroughly look forward to their time there. Both children have grown in confidence and independence and made many new friends at Cedar Park. They've also enjoyed such a variety of experiences and I can't not mention the amazing grounds and gardens. The atmosphere is always friendly, positive and warm and parents feel like part of the family as well as the children. The children are treated with respect and enjoy a great balance of structured time as well as free time to play and explore. The nursery strives to improve what they do, most recently with the forest school but also with events (sports days, summer fair, camp outs). The weekly newsletter is a great way to know what is going on each week. I couldn't recommend Cedar Park more.
The staff have made him feel very welcome, safe and have prepared him for school well. Lovely big garden to explore.
I have two children at Cedar Park and both are very happy. The nursery staff are excellent with the children and always ensure they are entertained, taught weekly values and generally nurtured. I would happily recommend Cedar Park for children of all ages.
It was clear from the outset the professionalism and attention to detail that all staff have at Cedar. They continuously try to consider matters from the child's and parents' perspective, and wherever possible aim to make our experiences enjoyable and insightful. Keep up the good work.
