Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school Reading is right in the heart of Reading city centre, within walking distance of the train station and their nursery is set in a beautiful, charismatic listed church building with four spacious rooms, one for each age group.

Their ParentZone app keeps mums and dads informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals eaten and even toilet training progress! They use their 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children such as encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

The nursery team are big on safety which is why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. The nursery is also silver eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

They are big on happy children which is why they have an area for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

The nursery has its own garden area, which is well equipped including a children's playhouse and slide. There is also a wooden shelter to provide shade and cover and to ensure that children can access the outdoors in all weather conditions.

Excellent run nursery, very organised and it was a caring and loving environment for my daughter. I was very happy with the service we received especially during difficult covid times. We were sorry to leave.

We joined the nursery in January 2021 and as parents, we are extremely happy with the services. Our little son settled in perfectly from the start. The staff are wonderful and very careful and caring. The updates that we get are very accurate. We always get suggestions on what we can do at home to help
with our little ones’ progression! Really happy we chose them.

Both of my children attend The Co-op nursery and they absolutely love it. The girls are so wonderful and take such great care of them. The girls in Pre School and Caterpillars are absolutely brilliant. We are so lucky to have such wonderful ladies looking after our boys.

This is an excellent nursery, they really look after the children well and have so many fun things for them to play with and do. They also often pivot the next week’s activities based on what the kids have shown an interest in. I also really appreciate how well the staff use the app to share updates
and pictures on what the kids are getting up to. The staff are very caring and really love being with the kids. I would recommend.

Our daughter started in Co-op Childcare Reading in September 2020, just before she turned one. This was delayed slightly due to Covid etc. The nursery staff has been nothing but amazing since she started. There were a few tears on her first few days, but her key worker reassured us that she was happy
once she was in her room, and helped her settle in quickly. She has since developed lovely bonds with her key workers, and all the staff within the nursery.
The nursery has really sensible measures in place to help keep everyone as safe as possible throughout the pandemic, which has allowed us as parents to feel confident in our decision to continue to send our daughter into nursery every day.
Since she started, we have seen how much she has grown as a small person in confidence, abilities, and communication, I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any potential parent!

I really recommend Co-op Childcare Reading to all the parents that need a nursery in Reading city centre. My son has gone there since September and he absolutely loves it, all the staff members are really keen on their jobs and they provide an amazing experience for the children. They are really attentive
on the different children's needs and every time my son comes back home after a day in the nursery he shows me something new that he learnt through the day.

My son has been attending Co-op Childcare Reading for a while now and I couldn't be any happier with the overall service.
The staff are the heart of the building, they are all so loving, caring and friendly! It really feels like a home from home when I drop my child off each day. The service provided
is exceptional, my son has progressed so much in his development since starting here and that's down to the staff having such great knowledge and commitment to helping him in his learning and development!
They have great communications with parents using an app which keeps me updated throughout the day sending photos and updates constantly which is lovely to see while you're working.
In recent months the whole nursery team have been amazing in making the nursery a safe, fun and nurturing environment whilst dealing with a pandemic and I couldn't be more thankful!
I couldn't be happier with the nursery and would recommend anyone to send their child here!

It never ceases to amaze me how great the staff are at Co-op Reading nursery. Despite all the extra challenges that Covid has brought - they've managed to deliver an excellent environment for my daughter, who has loads of fun each day and is learning and developing really well.

I had never left my son until I signed him up with the team here, I was very nervous about how he would cope with this type of surrounding. The Team have been amazing, he has settled beautifully and we get occasional photo updates and food updates.
My only reservation aside from nerves before was the
outdoor space but my son loves what they have so it's not been a problem.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 10 months old. She is now 2 1/2 and runs happily into nursery every day. Since the outset, the staff have been friendly, kind and welcoming, completely child centric and very keen to work with me as a parent to help my daughter achieve her key milestones
and more. I am extremely grateful to have found such a lovely place for my daughter who is thriving in all areas, encouraged and supported by the staff in Reading.

My wife and I are extremely happy and satisfied with the service of the Cooperative Nursery staff. They have always gone over and beyond to make my child comfortable for the period he has been there, He wasn't the easiest child to have settle in and actually took quite a while. However, with the persistence
of the staff, he very much enjoys his days in pre-school. We highly recommend The Co-operative Childcare.

Both my children have spent time at Co-op Nursery Reading and have had an amazing time. The staff are caring and cater to individuals needs. I love to see my youngest excited to go to nursery and come home telling me of the adventures he has been on and the friends he has played with. My child’s confidence
has grown and I know he will be ready to make that next step into school. I particularly love the partnership the pre-school room have made with a local care home, making visits to spend time with the residents and creating a different learning environment. I 100% recommend the Co-op Nursery Reading to any parent looking for a Day nursery, you won’t be disappointed.

Ever since the first meeting I have been impressed by the enthusiasm, dedication and patience of the staff. My daughter loves all the activities and has thrived with the care and attention she's been given. We get plenty of feedback on how she is getting on and find everyone very approachable if we
want to ask any questions. From August, my younger daughter will also attend the nursery as I wouldn't want to send her anywhere else.

The nursery staff are very kind and patient to children. The services provided are very warm-hearted. For example, if I send my baby late to the nursery, normally the teacher will already call me to check what's happened.
Online report and photos of your child is a good track of the child's activity
in the nursery.
