Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill)

My daughter had a wonderful few years at Woodberry. She was so happy there that myself and my husband were happy and relaxed that she was in an environment she loved.

All the staff and her key workers have been amazing throughout my daughter's development and will be missed as we move on.

The activities for the children at Woodberry are always stimulating and fun and my daughter thrived whilst learning new skills.

I would highly recommend Woodberry to anyone looking for childcare, we have been very impressed with the care our child has received here.

Our son started at Woodberry Nursery in August 2016 at the age of 1. The staff in his room were wonderful helping him to settle and feel at home. Within a couple of weeks, he was completely at ease and he is loving his time there now. We have been impressed by the friendly and helpful attitude of all the members of the team and the diversity of activities that are offered to the children, even in the baby room.

Our son has developed very well since he joined the nursery and we are very grateful to all the staff for their love and care with which they treat him. We would definitely be happy to recommend Woodberry Nursery to our family and friends.

Our children have been at Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill) for almost three years. My wife and I have been deeply impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and passion for caring for children at the Nursery. Our boys have flourished over the last three year and every member of staff that they have been in contact with has been a delight. The facilities throughout all seasons of the year are second to none. The timeliness with which staff contact us when one of our boys are ill is impressive and we are completely reassured that our boys' welfare is a primary concern for all staff at the Nursery. We would highly recommend the Nursery to anyone thinking of putting their child in a nursery.

My daughter has attended Woodberry since September 2015 and my son since August 2016, between them they have been in all the rooms. The staff are excellent and both my children have really developed. It is lovely having them both there and the staff ensure they get playtimes which each other and can see each other whenever they want which is really comforting and helped my youngest settle quickly. The activities are fantastic my pre-schooler learns Spanish and takes part in yoga! I would recommend if you want a warm caring nursery where your children flourish.

Our daughter has been at Woodberry Day Nursery since December 2016 - from 11 months old. We feel incredibly fortunate to have chosen this nursery for her - she has become more confident in her time there and obviously enjoys her days there. Although expensive, the times offered give flexibility - key for working parents - and the all-inclusivity means everything is taken care of there. The staff are really lovely, they genuinely care about the children and know them all by name. We will have no hesitation in keeping her there until she is ready to start school. There is a wide range of activities and at every pickup and drop off the staff take the time to talk to the parents and update them on the day. We're so happy with it - thank you!

My 3.5-year-old son has been attending Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill) for over a year on a full-time basis. His development has been amazing and he is a very happy thriving toddler. The staff has always been extremely attentive to whatever specific needs he may have and sensitive to his particular character. Feedback is given daily and usually extremely informative. The work they do with regards to development and growth is second to none. I feel completely at ease knowing that my son is in very capable safe and loving hands. Outstanding team!

The management team were easy to talk to, and there was generally good communication between the nursery and parents. The preschool room gently prepares the children for school whilst they still have a lot of fun. My children made some strong bonds with staff and children.

The staff are very friendly and the environment of the nursery is both welcoming and spacious. The improvements I have seen in my child has been positive and we have a continuous dialogue on development and successor markers.

Both of our children went to Woodberry and thrived there, they loved it and we loved that they were so happy and well cared for. Staff members genuinely cared about our kids, even after our older child left for school. When we did have complaints or concerns, these were addressed quickly and comprehensively, and if we needed some flexibility in our schedule, they were keen to accommodate. Though the fees are higher, probably the highest in the area, we felt that Woodberry offered the best value. We've really appreciated our time at Woodberry and are so sad to leave!

Our daughter has spent a large portion of her life at Woodberry and has really enjoyed each stage of the journey. Above all, we feel she has benefited socially and emotionally having built up a strong network of long-term friends, under the guidance of very caring staff. The Caterpillars and Pre-School rooms are particularly well run, and this is borne out in seeing how easily she has adapted to school.

A big thank you to all the team for taking such good care of my boy. He has loved his time at Woodberry and has thrived, arriving at school all prepared and excited for his new chapter. The whole team are brilliant and we will miss them.

Very friendly and warming nursery. The staff in the Caterpillar Room are brilliant. They have looked after my girl for the last year and she has really grown in confidence and she has made many beautiful memories there. All the lunches/meals are cooked fresh every day and they are catered to suit your child needs. Excellent day care and would highly recommend them. Thank you, Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill).

My little boy loved his time at Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill). He attended the nursery for aged 13 months - 4 years and is now very ready for school with the help from all the staff, all of whom are exceptionally friendly, supportive and caring. I would not hesitate in recommending them to friends/family. Thank you for everything!

I'm delighted with my son's development at Woodberry and have huge respect for the team there. The manager provides great leadership and I have total confidence in all the team. My son's dedicated carer I find outstanding due to her professionalism and caring nature. We are delighted with Woodberry nursery both with the excellent care our little girl receives and the administration and information that supports that care. Our little girl loves her time in the nursery and we can see how it helps her development and sociability. Her key minder is fantastic and really cares. We are really happy and feel lucky to have such a good nursery in our neighbourhood.

We moved our son to Woodberry from another nursery and are so glad we made the decision. We have constantly been impressed with the staff who are always kind, welcoming and fantastic with the children. The manager and her management team are excellent and have always taken on board and responded to any feedback straight away. We have been particularly impressed with the preschool room and team there, they have really helped my son develop and have ensured he will be ready when he starts school in September. They are always finding new and fun ways to engage the children. I will shortly be sending my youngest son to the baby room and would recommend the nursery to any parents.

Both our children have really enjoyed their time at Woodberry and have really flourished in their care. The nursery and their staff are very welcoming, providing a safe and secure environment and our children have become more self-confident and independent individuals. Lovely nursery, amazing staff who are comforting and really engaging with both parents and children. Parents are kept informed well and children are comfortable in their surroundings. Lots of interest is taken in my child and he loves the staff who take care of him. I love the staff, so does my son.

Experience in all rooms with 2 daughters. Caring, thoughtful staff. Attentive to the development of children and feedback given to parents. Good activities for children. Both my children love coming to nursery. The nursery management is forthcoming in making improvements. Excellent Christmas Fayre - this was a new event and much enjoyed by all.

We couldn't be happier with the care that has been provided for our son. The staff are friendly and caring and he adores his keyworker. At present, he has been there for 5 months full time in the Caterpillar room which we have seen him thrive in his physical and mental development. As we are both full tie working parents, it's fantastic to be able to view and read the daily activities he has been up to on Parents Zone. Thank you to all the staff!
