Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill)

I could not recommend Woodberry Nursery in Winchmore Hill highly enough! I have two little girls, very close in age, and I was so nervous about returning back to work and them starting nursery - but the speed and happiness with which they settled was absolutely incredible. They both love going to nursery and adore their key workers; it's such a relief and a joy knowing that there's such a wonderful team taking care of them when I'm not around - and helping them all the stages of life. They also learn so many new things and surprise and delight us every week! It's a superb setting and a place where the team also care about the wellbeing of the parents and takes time to get to know you.

On the 5th of March (Tuesday), when there was an inset day and the nursery was closed, I had to look after my child myself and as I’m self-employed, I lost a day of work. My daughter only attends nursery two days a week, one of those happened to be an inset day. I would like to claim this day back by her attending any other day until her leave on the 3rd of April.

Our experience with our son settling into the caterpillar room has been nothing short of amazing. He is our first born and everybody in the team at Woodberry have helped us tremendously. We are still learning every day as our little boy grows daily and the experience that the team is able to share with us, especially when he is poorly or a bit cranky is just priceless. We are so pleased that our son is happy and genuinely loves coming to nursery every day, smile on his face and the way that he recognises and greets the staff daily is a pleasure to watch. Special thanks to the two ladies for helping with settling him in and to the other ladies for their help every morning, not forgetting the amazing team leader whom he absolutely adores! We have seen his development progress so much over the last three months.

They bring the development of the children on very well.

Woodberry Nursery have great staff who always go an extra mile to help child settle. They are caring and very friendly and always assure parents that their little ones are looked after and cared for. My little one struggled in the beginning as she had a separation anxiety but one month into going to the nursery she’s managed to settle in fine.

We are absolutely thrilled with the progress our daughter has made in just a few weeks at the nursery. The dedicated team of professionals have played a pivotal role in helping her settle in and feel at home. Her transition has filled us with joy, and we are grateful for the nurturing environment provided by the staff. We couldn't be happier with her early experiences at this nursery. Thank you

We love Woodberry! Our son is just about to move up to pre-school and he adores his time there and our daughter is about to start in September. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are fantastic.

Our second daughter has been at Woodberry for nine months now and she's clearly thriving - her speech and motor skills get better every day and it's obvious that she enjoys her time at nursery. She's looked after by most of the same staff who took care of her elder sister as staff turnover at Woodberry is very low, which says something. We get great detailed feedback on her day at pickup every day, along with weekly photo updates on the ParentZone app. The menu is varied and it's all freshly prepared on-site. Overall, I'm very happy with Woodberry and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I am so pleased with the care our son receives at Woodberry. The staff are so kind, nurturing and friendly towards both him and us. The key workers in the room go above and beyond to ensure he is well looked after and all of his needs are met. They are excellent at communicating. Thank you to all the staff.

Both of my children currently attend Woodberry. My eldest has been there for three years now, and he has loved attending the nursery. The staff are very nurturing and attentive and they work hard to provide a range of activities for the children.

Our daughter has been at Woodberry for a year now. Our son also previously attended so we knew she would be in good hands. The staff are caring and friendly and she thoroughly enjoys her time here!

Woodberry Day Nursery is a fantastic nursery setting which we have been with since 2017. My eldest daughter went on to primary school fully equipped for the journey ahead. My youngest daughter will soon follow and I am confident Woodberry will do all they can to continue to nurture, support and guide her. We will miss Woodberry very much when the time comes to leave. You have been amazing!

I have two children at Woodberry Day Nursery at the moment - my eldest has attended since 2019 and is about to depart for primary school. I could not recommend Woodberry enough as a fantastic choice of nursery for anyone with babies and toddlers. The staff are what makes the nursery - they are amazing, caring and nurturing. Education is a really high priority but most importantly of all, both my children love going there. The environment is safe, encouraging and fun. The food is great and very varied. Every day parents receive clear feedback from the staff and regular updates via an app. Brilliant nursery and amazing keyworkers.

I have had three children attend Woodberry who have all loved it! I have always felt reassured that my children are safe and well looked after at all times. Woodberry provides a caring and nurturing environment for my children to play, learn and interact with other children of the same age.

Amazing staff, always ready to help!

It is a clean, safe and happy environment. The staff are great and are very nurturing. It's a lovely feeling to know our precious child is in safe and caring hands.

In normal circumstances, they would get 5/5, but in the teeth of a pandemic for the last two years, they have done an amazing job to keep the children happy and safe. This would be our first choice of the nursery if we had to find one again.

My daughter came to Woodberry after lots of struggles with her previous nursery. After starting with Woodberry I could see the change in her immediately, I could see a nice and smooth journey at Woodberry till the time when she happily goes to her nursery every day. It was a very challenging process for us to take her to a nursery, because of her not having a pleasant experience at her previous nursery. I could not appreciate more the professionalism of Woodberry's staff to make this process much easier for us. My daughter absolutely loves her teachers at Woodberry now and every day she learns something new. I cannot recommend Woodberry highly enough and I am so happy for my daughter to have this safe and creative environment.

Our daughter has been attending Woodberry since she was 11 months (she’s now 3) and is very happy there. We get daily feedback and photos via the app (which we can also use to share our own updates/photos with the nursery). The staff are all lovely and I have complete peace of mind that she is safe and well cared for during the day. They’ve also been great in assisting with things like potty training. There is a wide range of daily activities which are both fun and educational and the meals are all nutritionally balanced. I can’t recommend Woodberry highly enough and my son is already on the waitlist to attend when he is older.
