Woodberry Day Nursery (Winchmore Hill)

Our daughter has only recently started at this nursery, but we've already been so impressed with the care and attention she has received. The staff have been incredibly warm, welcoming, and reassuring, which has made the transition much easier for both her and us as parents.

It's clear that the team genuinely cares about the children, taking the time to help them settle in and feel comfortable in their new environment. We've loved seeing how quickly she is beginning to engage with the activities and build confidence.

Communication has been excellent, with regular updates that give us peace of mind knowing she is happy and well looked after. The nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, and we're really excited to see her continue to grow and develop here.

A special thanks to the management/admin team that have been exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process.

We love Woodberry. The staff have excellent knowledge and are passionate about the kids. Our two daughters, 1 and 4yrs have loved their experience and flourished in each room, and the management have been professional and quick to resolve any issues.

This nursery has gone above and beyond welcoming and settling our young daughter. The staff (from reception, kitchen, to educators) are all outstanding, passionate, committed, with an individual approach to each child. The facilities are second to none in the area (I checked). My biggest gratitude lies in how they welcomed and supported our entire family, and not just our daughter. A true community. I wish to call out Lucy, Ceyda and Azhra who our daughters looks at like family.

We cannot truly put into words how grateful we are to all the nursery staff who have cared for, supported, and nurtured both of our girls.

Our eldest daughter started just after Covid, with multiple food allergies, and the staff were incredibly supportive of both her and us as parents. We always felt reassured knowing she was in safe hands.

Our younger daughter has flourished in every way - her confidence and development have come on leaps and bounds. She genuinely looks forward to nursery every single day, which speaks volumes about the amazing team. She is so sad to be leaving!

Thank you to everyone for providing such a wonderful, nurturing nursery journey. We have loved every moment, and so have our girls. We will definitely keep in touch.

Our daughter started in the pre-school room earlier this year when we moved to the area and we are so pleased with how well she has settled. The teachers have gone above and beyond to make her transition smooth and enjoyable. It's also lovely to see and hear about the bond she has with both staff and other children. We're pleased with the variety of activities the class does and particularly the amount of time and opportunity for outdoor play. It's so nice and reassuring to walk into the classroom at collection time and see our daughter so happy to be there. Would definitely recommend the nursery.

Team at Woodberry have been brilliant from first contact through settling to attending. We are still getting used to our new setting but are happy and enjoying our experience so far.

I'm very happy with all the staff at the nursery and in the Bumblebees room - they are all attentive and supportive to my son and he has a fun time with all the activities they put on. Any concerns are dealt with delicately and expertly by management.

We've had a really good experience so far. Our 18-month-old settled in quicker than we expected, and we honestly think the team made a big difference in that. Everyone's been kind, patient and welcoming, which made the whole process so much easier for us as parents. It's been great to see our child so happy and comfortable there.

I am happy overall with Woodberry day nursery. My child has struggled with settling in as she only attends part time but the staff have been attentive and done their best to help her feel safe and at ease.

Woodberry Day Nursery in Winchmore Hill has been a wonderful environment for my son since starting in August 2024. The staff are responsible, loving, and caring, providing a huge sense of comfort knowing he is well looked after. The nursery offers a variety of engaging activities fostering both creativity and learning. The facility boasts a secure and stimulating environment, allowing children to learn and play safely. The on-site cook provides healthy meals daily, ensuring my son receives the nutrients he needs. The management is approachable and responsive, always willing to discuss my son's progress and any concerns I might have. There are also two Parents Evenings a year and events such as a Christmas fair. Overall, I highly recommend Woodberry Day Nursery to any parent seeking a nurturing and educational setting for their child.

Woodbery is a fantastic nursery and has provided a safe, fun and welcoming environment for both of our children for over three years now. The staff are responsible, loving and caring, and it provides us with a huge sense of comfort to know they are both being looked after so well.

Our son has been at Woodberry Nursery for two months and we are so happy that we chose this nursery. The staff in the Caterpillar room and at reception are so friendly and our son clearly loves them all as he always has a big smile for each and every one of them! We love hearing about the range of activities he gets up to at nursery, including lots of time in the garden, bubble parties, and creative painting! At pick-up, we have seen him playing independently or reading/playing with one of the staff and he seems very content. The communication from the nursery is great - we receive regular updates throughout the day on the app and a full debrief at pick-up. We have also been very impressed with the food on offer at the nursery - they offer a balanced, varied diet each day. We had been nervous about leaving our son at nursery but seeing how much fun he has and how much he loves the staff has made it a much easier experience. Thank you!

Overall we're very happy with the nursery. The key workers in the room have made a big effort to bond with our child and make sure he feels settled. We recently had parents' evening where they shared very thoughtful views that demonstrated that they really pay attention to each individual child's needs and focus on their development. They share weekly newsletters and let us know what topic they're focusing on for the week. My only niggle is that the rooms are quite large in terms of number of children. At 2 they go into a room of up to 24 kids which to me feels a little too big.

The staff at Woodberry Nursery all really seem to care about my child. They know his name and things about him. They always speak professionally about the children and parents and make us feel welcome and safe. It's emotional sending your child to nursery and thankfully Woodberry have made that far easier to do. We are very happy with our choice of nursery and thank all the staff.

Our child has been at Woodberry for almost 4 years and we are thrilled with his education and care. At every step during his years at Woodberry, he was been led by such wonderful key workers. My son absolutely adores the staff and he is excited to go to nursery. Currently, in the pre-school room, we are pleased that he is challenged daily and thoroughly enjoys his lessons and activities. The workers allow my child to explore new interests and give great feedback. They also foster positivity and kindness/sharing. Even when we have had those dreaded toddler moments, the staff has been caring, patient and understanding. While there have been some hiccups here and there (staff changes and communications in particular), we do not believe that has affected our overall view of the nursery and certainly did not negatively impact our son's care. Those recent changes have been welcomed and received well. Our son has thrived at Woodberry and we highly recommend it.
