Bright Horizons Elm Grove: A loving and nurturing nursery.

Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Situated in Kingston upon Thames, the setting offers excellent transport links for trains and buses.

The nursery is a two-storey building with age-appropriate rooms for the children to learn and grow and benefits from two gardens to extend their play and learning experiences. The older children will benefit from being able to test their skills in the Science Studio, which the children can access on a daily basis. And for those that are more creative, the children enjoy the Cooking and Art Clubs, where they can freely explore and experiment with their senses.

The nursery also boasts an age appropriate garden, with the areas clearly assigned to their age groups. With the babies in a safe, soft play area and the old children benefiting from a bike track to test their motor skills.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. They have a very happy and stimulating environment and very kind and caring staff. My son is super happy, he's learning loads and enjoys lots of creative activities every day. They have a lovely garden and they take them out for walks often. The staff keeps
us posted of his progress every day and really look after him as a picky eater and eczema sufferer. This is our second child here.

I am so glad that I put my daughter into this nursery. They have been so supportive. The staff in the turtle room are amazing with her. It is so nice to see her build up relationships with the staff. They are so lovely and show such an interest in every child. From the first time I visited the nursery,
all the staff were so welcoming and it had such a lovely feel which made me decide straight away I was going to send her there. I’m so glad I did. All the children seem so happy at the nursery and all the staff are so lovely. I really can't fault them. She is so happy at this nursery. It puts parents' minds at ease to know their children are looked after by such amazing people. It is lovely to see the updates on the app and pictures to see what they are getting up to. I know she is going to thrive at this nursery. and I would recommend it to anyone.

My son went straight from one nursery to this one. I was worried how he would cope, however he was straight off playing and the team in pre-school were so welcoming. On his second day he was excited about going to nursery, which was completely different from the old one. He's made some lovely friends
over the couple of months he's been here and talks very positively about his teachers.

Having recently transferred our son to Elm Grove from another nursery in May of this year, we have been completely blown away by the level of care and support that they have shown our little boy, but also us as parents.
Every single interaction with the team members at Elm Grove is warm, friendly,
transparent, and clear that they have an understanding of each child in their care. They make the effort to get to know you as parents, and in just a short space of time, have made us feel like our son is in the next best place other than home with us.
It’s not the facilities that make a nursery - it’s the people - fortunately, Elm Grove has both!
We are so grateful to see our son so happy, bubbly and thriving - there’s plenty of space, activities are super creative, a fantastic outdoor area, and the focus on education and teaching skills for early years is excellent - highly recommend meeting the team and taking a tour!

I highly recommend the team at Elm Grove Nursery and Pre-school. My son has been going to this excellent nursery and preschool for over three years and throughout that time I have found all of the staff at Elm Grove to be kind, caring and attentive towards the children and communicative with parents/carers.
Elm Grove staff go above and beyond in their care towards the children, creating a warm, nurturing and happy nursery community including thoughtful, fun day-to-day activities and regular family community events (e.g. summer fete and Christmas party) for the children. Elm Grove offers facilities that are second to none and clearly has a great team that works really well together and truly cares about their work. Elm Grove is a great nursery and preschool to be part of.

We would not hesitate in recommending Elm Grove nursery. We have had two children go through nursery from age 1, with the youngest currently in the pre-school class. All staff are kind and caring and go out of their way to get to know every child and their family. The facilities are fantastic and our

Our little one has just started at Bright Horizons, Elm Grove and we are absolutely thrilled with the nursery. They were fantastic at helping him get settled in and we've been so impressed with the quality of care and the range of stimulating activities every day. He seems to thoroughly enjoy his time
there. We also love receiving updates via the app, which is really easy to use and great to have a central place to view the meals, naps, nappies etc (and photos!). All the staff are lovely and very caring and communicative.

We have had children at this nursery for five years. We continue to be amazed by how committed, caring and happy the staff are. They do such an amazing job with our children, both in terms of care, but also in terms of development and education. There is a clear commitment to preparing the older children
for school (my son is currently in the preschool class) and the staff show such wonderful affection for the children. Our child is happy and a lot of that comes from a happy staff body.

Having placed my child in two other nurseries, prior to Elm Grove (because of moving homes). I am able to clearly see the difference between the standards associated with each and Elm Grove has gone beyond my expectations, making me realise my first choice of nursery, had very poor standards. The staff
are all lovely and caring and give a detailed report every day. Hygiene standards are high and the educational aspect is outstanding, whilst having fun themed activities (painting, cooking etc) and helping children learn the right values. I could not recommend it more!

My daughter settled so quickly into the nursery. The staff in her room have a great connection with her and she's always very happy to go in. Upon entering the nursery, all staff are extremely friendly and greet us by name. Communication from the key workers on how my child is getting on, is great.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Claire, the Nursery Manager, boasts an impressive 36 years of experience caring for children across various settings, including her own family. Her journey began at Surbiton Day Nursery, where she supported the baby room. Over time, she progressed from a Room Leader to third in charge. Claire also served as Deputy Manager in Guildford before taking on the role of Manager at Hampton Wick. Finally, she assumed the position of Manager at Elm Grove.


With a foundation degree in Early Years Education, Claire confidently claims to have the best job in the world. She deftly balances office tasks with quality time spent with the children. Her wealth of knowledge and passion for heuristic play drive her to learn every day, drawing inspiration from her favourite teachers—the children themselves.

Charlotte, who has been with Bright Horizons since 2009, was originally based in the Banstead nursery and holds a Level 3 qualification.


She has worked in all roles at the nursery, spanning all age groups and loves her position at the nursery.
