Bright Horizons Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool

It’s a good nursery. The staff are very nice. If you bring your child to Elm Grove, there are a lot of activities your kid will love. It’s very safe. The food they serve is nutritious, and how they serve each meal for each child is thought through.

My son joined this nursery a year ago at the age of 11 months. He has thrived here, the staff in both baby and now toddler rooms couldn't be more engaging and friendly. They went out of their way to allocate extra settling-in sessions to make both me and the baby comfortable before formally starting. As he has moved into new classes, they have managed the transition seamlessly. The staff are so full of energy and get to know each child individually, and have lots of differing activities each day to encourage learning, appropriate to the age, with lots of updates on the app with photos and descriptions. Food is cooked onsite every day. Rooms and toys are always clean, bright and inviting. They have lots of outdoor space also for them to run around and they use it regularly, which is a rarity in this area. Communications around nursery events and billing etc is clear and organised, the management team are very on top of things. Price wise it's fair for the area. He is really happy there.

The children love learning and love attending. Having my children attend is a real privilege, having children at this nursery makes you a part of a very special family!

We are so happy with Bright Horizons Elm Grove for our daughter. We visited a lot of nurseries and Elm Grove stood out with how kind, welcoming and authentic the staff were. We were concerned with finding a nursery that was an inclusive environment as same-sex parents. Elm Grove have been exceptionally thoughtful in this regard, and would recommend it to any other same-sex parents looking for a nursery. It took a little time for our daughter to settle in and get used to nursery, the staff were so great in helping her settle in. She loves the food from the chef, the activities and her pals there. She absolutely adores the staff, and it is such a privilege to be able to go to work knowing your child is safe, supported and happy. Followed our gut feeling in choosing Elm Grove and don’t regret it.

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. They have a very happy and stimulating environment and very kind and caring staff. My son is super happy, he's learning loads and enjoys lots of creative activities every day. They have a lovely garden and they take them out for walks often. The staff keeps us posted of his progress every day and really look after him as a picky eater and eczema sufferer. This is our second child here.

I am so glad that I put my daughter into this nursery. They have been so supportive. The staff in the turtle room are amazing with her. It is so nice to see her build up relationships with the staff. They are so lovely and show such an interest in every child. From the first time I visited the nursery, all the staff were so welcoming and it had such a lovely feel which made me decide straight away I was going to send her there. I’m so glad I did. All the children seem so happy at the nursery and all the staff are so lovely. I really can't fault them. She is so happy at this nursery. It puts parents' minds at ease to know their children are looked after by such amazing people. It is lovely to see the updates on the app and pictures to see what they are getting up to. I know she is going to thrive at this nursery. and I would recommend it to anyone.

My son went straight from one nursery to this one. I was worried how he would cope, however he was straight off playing and the team in pre-school were so welcoming. On his second day he was excited about going to nursery, which was completely different from the old one. He's made some lovely friends over the couple of months he's been here and talks very positively about his teachers.

We are so grateful to see our son so happy, bubbly and thriving - there’s plenty of space, activities are super creative, a fantastic outdoor area, and the focus on education and teaching skills for early years is excellent - highly recommend meeting the team and taking a tour!

Our daughter has been at Elm Grove for 2 years now. We are very happy with the nursery. It is the staff who make it what it is, they are so caring and helpful and creative in the activities they arrange for the children.

The team at Elm Grove are always warm, welcoming and supportive. My son is buzzing at the end of every day and full of stories of what he has been doing and learning. I am very impressed by the variety of games and activities the teachers create.

Two of our children have worked their way through Elm Grove Nursery over the last five years. Both really enjoyed it and progressed well thanks to the great staff and structures. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend the team at Elm Grove Nursery and Pre-school. My son has been going to this excellent nursery and preschool for over three years and throughout that time I have found all of the staff at Elm Grove to be kind, caring and attentive towards the children and communicative with parents/carers. Elm Grove staff go above and beyond in their care towards the children, creating a warm, nurturing and happy nursery community including thoughtful, fun day-to-day activities and regular family community events (e.g. summer fete and Christmas party) for the children. Elm Grove offers facilities that are second to none and clearly has a great team that works really well together and truly cares about their work. Elm Grove is a great nursery and preschool to be part of.

We would not hesitate in recommending Elm Grove nursery. We have had two children go through nursery from age 1, with the youngest currently in the pre-school class. All staff are kind and caring and go out of their way to get to know every child and their family. The facilities are fantastic and our children have learnt and developed in a wonderfully nurturing environment.

My son loves coming to nursery and is excited to go every day. The team in his room are great at what they do. Outdoor space is fab too, which is a must, as my son is quite a physical child. Thank you Bright Horizons, Elm Grove!

Overall this is an excellent nursery and both my children have settled here quickly. We are extremely happy with the quality of care, teaching and experience, overall. Staff are caring and listen to concerns, happily working with parents on any issues. Very happy and highly recommend this nursery for anyone who wants their children to be in a caring and stimulating environment.

Our little one has just started at Bright Horizons, Elm Grove and we are absolutely thrilled with the nursery. They were fantastic at helping him get settled in and we've been so impressed with the quality of care and the range of stimulating activities every day. He seems to thoroughly enjoy his time there. We also love receiving updates via the app, which is really easy to use and great to have a central place to view the meals, naps, nappies etc (and photos!). All the staff are lovely and very caring and communicative.

My son loves his time at nursery and we have always felt very supported by the staff there. The pre-school preparation is very strong and all the staff are very caring towards the children. We have loved being part of the nursery family over the past years.
