Staff have always seemed caring and interested. The play and activities are very good, my son has always had busy days. The garden is great for fresh air and letting them run around so they haven't been cooped up all day. Sometimes nappy changes haven't been so good. Welcoming staff, they have a pet fish which is interesting to them. He has made friends and always seems to have enjoyed his day.
Since my son joined the nursery his speech has improved. He is much friendlier.
My experience so far with Dolphin has been great. The staff are responsive and pleasant to interact with. When my son is with them he enjoys himself and has very quickly bonded with his key worker. I am confident that he is receiving the best care that he can receive outside of his own home.
My son has been at the nursery for about nine months and he has settled very well. His teacher is great and lets me know what he has done during the morning and I am informed if any concerns. Overall it is an average nursery to attend.
We really appreciate that you have taken time out to share your feedback, your opinion is very important to us. I am going to share your comments with the Nursery Manager and ask her to address your areas of concerns.
I was very anxious bringing my little girl to the nursery, but once I met the staff at Dolphin Day Nursery I quickly relaxed. Very very nice people, I felt as if I was taking my daughter from home to another home. I am kept up to date with eery one of her day to day activities. I love this nursery and wish I could attend myself but I am a little too old :).
We are so very happy with Dolphin Nursery - it has made a hugely positive difference to our daughter. She loves going to the nursery. It has made her so much more confident in all situations. It has improved her speech/singing/interaction with other kids - I can't believe how much she has gained from being at Dolphin, we really are so happy. All the staff are lovely too - we couldn't be more pleased.
The Harvest Festival team at Dolphin put on was so good it deserves a special mention. A large proportion of staff gave up their Saturday to be part of it. The children enjoyed face painting, dough-making and of course the chef's BBQ. I really valued chatting to other parents who I don't usually get the chance to speak to when rushing in and out of nursery each day. We also raised lots of money for a local charity - good job Team Dolphin.
Our daughter (20 months) loves coming to nursery. She has made a best friend already, tries to sing the songs nad loves her keyworkers. We are very happy to leave her in the care of her keyworkers, secure in the knowledge that they will devote themselves to her fully all day.
My daughter has been at Dolphin for 6 months. Her key worker over the last 6 months has encouraged her development which has come on leaps and bounds. My daughter is only in 2 days a week and so the time she has with her is limited however her attention to her and the care she has received has been second to none.
I'm very happy with the experience our son is getting at the nursery. He loves going and playing with his friends and doing lots of new and exciting activities. He has also developed so much and despite being only 2 can speak some French thanks to his amazing key worker. The staff are loving and caring and I go off to work knowing our son is happy and being well looked after.
My son has been at Dolphin Nursery for almost one year and he is very happy there. The staff are wonderful and really care for him. It was not an easy transition for me to return to work but knowing he is having fun and being well looked after make it easier for mummy!
