I'm sure as he goes through the rooms the activities and learning is appropriately placed but for now, it's quite hard to judge for a one-year-old developmentally. He eats well and gets on with the other children. The staff are organised and always have time for feedback which indicates how much time and effort they have for the children. Thank you to the staff in the babies room.

The children's activities are varied and really well thought out, and often linked to events in the outside world, such as the world cup and the royal wedding. My son is able to try a lot of new activities, and the staff give me lots of ideas for things to try at home too. He especially likes the sensory room, Jo Jingles (who visits every Wednesday) and playing outside. The staff are always really professional and the atmosphere in the nursery is warm and friendly. They give detailed feedback when I collect my son about what he's been up to during the day.

My son has settled really well into the nursery. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I like that the nursery provide different activities to support the development of my child. For example, music, sport, massage class, ballet and art and crafts. I also feel that in every room the staff are devoted to the care and development of each and every child.

Over the past 2 years, I have watched my son develop into a confident and happy little person at this nursery, and I attribute this to the wonderful environment provided here. Always professional, friendly and cooperative, the staff treat & care for the children as individuals, and I wholeheartedly trust them to provide the best possible care and support for our son.

Facilities are clean & fresh, classrooms are well sized to provide an intimate and secure environment, and the outdoor play areas are well organised to provide the same safe environment.

A mixed range of activities supported by structured teaching reassures me that he is developing key skills and varied interests.

Meals/snacks are diverse & prepared fresh in-house by the nursery chef, which provides reassurance that our son is eating well and healthily whilst experiencing different tastes.

Overall I find it great value for money, providing my son with valuable skills in preparation for the transition to school.

The staff is great and my baby loves them. The food and activities are very good too. I am concerned about the yearly fee increases (5% this year for 2018, 3% the previous year) which is not justified and puts enormous pressure on parents like us.

Excellent, caring, helpful services and very friendly. My son is just over 3 years old and has never attended nursery before he started at Active Learning. The staff made him feel right at home and he settled very quickly. He started full time immediately and he is very happy and enjoys Active Learning very much and this is due to the amazing staff and Active Learning as a whole.

A fantastic nursery. The staff are amazing and our little boy truly enjoys going. He learns a lot and has lots of fun.

Active Learning Kingston (Surrey) has been a welcoming, caring, fun and educational nursery for my now 3-year-old to be part of the past 1.5 years. He has now graduated to the preschool class and has loved every teacher and mentor along the way. We really cannot say enough good things about Active Learning, I have recommended it to multiple people since we began here in 2016. There is such an eclectic mix of classes and activities-sports, music, art, ballet, French class....all taught by enthusiastic teachers who manage to capture tiny attention spans. One of the biggest reasons we went with Active Learning after touring many other nurseries was this varied schedule of activity and education. It's also obvious from each room in Active Learning that learning is a hands-on and colourful affair. There are many rooms within Active Learning which was another huge draw for us...our son has never spent his day in just one room. The teachers and staff are exceptional, I am always confident I'm leaving my son with people who truly care about him.

Not the cheapest you'll find, but I consider it money well spent.

The nursery has a lovely space to work with and their garden is fantastic for all kids to play outside without feeling cramped. Activities are engaging and involves all the children. This is a safe environment and we appreciate the security provided for children.

Finally, I can see my child making big progress in her skills overall.

The staff have also given me great advice when it has come to kicking bad habits (throwing food on the floor for example) and how to entertain and encourage him in his play and development. The staff and management act in a professional manner when required but are all also fab with the children. I highly recommend this nursery!

I found all the staff are very good indeed. There is a very pleasant atmosphere and feel to the place. There is a wide range of different rooms and the outdoor areas are great for the kids. I know that my son enjoys his time there very much.

I have two children at this nursery - aged 3years 10 months and 1year 11 months.

Can not praise this nursery enough - I took my children out of another local nursery as I wasn't happy and it's the best decision I made.

All of the staff are so welcoming and happy and my children talk very highly of them. The staff literally bend over backwards to accommodate any needs I ever have.

The day set up is brilliant too - children have the opportunity to move between different rooms at different times in the day, this is not something that I have ever seen in another nursery.

Would highly recommend to parents with children of any age who are looking for somewhere that is trustworthy and child-centred.

The staff are really sweet and caring towards my child and I am grateful for it as it makes a huge difference to me.

My husband and I love the fact that there is a separate sensory room and a sleep room for the babies. We couldn't be happier with our choice and really look forward to experiencing all the other opportunities that the nursery provide.

Literacy and numeracy are part of the nursery day, with a qualified early years teacher providing engaging lessons. There are separate classrooms for some activities such as music and art, with specialist teachers for both. The children get visiting teachers for French and ballet, so no need to traipse off to ballet lessons during our precious weekend together. There is also a sports coach and the children get to do a variety of sporting activities.

We have seen a huge shift in our daughter in the past 4 months. She was a difficult eater and now she eats pretty much anything and is feeding herself, she made lots of friends and she quite literally runs into the breakfast room in the mornings. Her key worker as well as the rest of the staff in the baby room, are all much loved by her. We have complete peace of mind during a working day!

We first used this nursery for our eldest daughter two and a half years ago and now our youngest is here. They've both loved their time here. The staff are caring and genuinely interested in the children as individuals. There's a good balance between encouraging learning and nurturing. I always feel assured about leaving my child here and she is always happy at pick up. Sometimes so much that she doesn't want to leave!!

I highly recommend this nursery, I am a mother of 2 boys, currently at this nursery and they are so happy over there. The staff is absolutely brilliant, so creative in their teaching methods and always kind and patient with children. They make a true difference in my boys' daily life, giving them special attention and confidence. Trust and dialogue are key in a relationship between parents and carers and this nursery truly overachieved their objective in this field. The best nursery you can find in the area, with staff excellence, spacious and very well maintained facilities, and real and proven teaching methods. Not all nurseries are meeting so many criteria, that are the end so fundamental in our children's life. Best nursery and pre-school!
