Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool

Our son started at Bright Horizons last summer. We are really pleased with our choice. The staff are all very friendly and have really gone the extra mile to help him settle and accommodate his needs. The app that the nursery uses allows us to keep up to date with how he's getting on each day. There is a free car park which we find extremely useful. The nursery is next to a cricket pitch so it is very green, open and peaceful. The nursery has done a very good job of managing covid - doing their upmost to remain open and doing a very good job of keeping us informed. There has been some staff turnover lately which we were initially concerned about (as we made the decision based in part on our conversation with the previous management team) but we don't have any concerns now having met the new staff. It is expensive so this is the only area that I have marked down - but given the quality I'd still say it represents good value for money.

Lovely setting and staff are very caring and engaging with the kids. It’s just been hard not to go into rooms and see kids interacting. The daily photos on the app help though and they are always busy enjoying various activities. My son is very settled and we have had good experiences with both other children who have attended. I would definitely recommend to others

Both my boys have attended Crouch End Fields and they love it. The staff are warm and caring and genuinely care about the welfare of the children. My 3 year old never complains about going into nursery and has lots of fun with his friends there.

The staff are wonderful, loving and caring for the kids. They have been exceptional during the craziness of the last year. The pictures we get (haven’t been allowed in yet, due to govt rules) show a wide range of fun, interactive and educational activities. Our little one regularly comes home in a change of clothes as he’s been outside getting dirty or inside splashing about - love it!

This is such a lovely nursery. From the start communication has been great, the team have been really caring, accommodating and responsive. I’m so pleased my son attends, we’ve made a good choice here.

Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields has been a very happy nursery for both my children. My son has moved on to school but my daughter has been there for the past two years and absolutely loves going in every single day! The staff are wonderful and really care about the children and make sure they are always happy and well looked after. The chef is also wonderful!

I have recommended the nursery to quite a few parents already as I love the way the nursery is run. Good management and staff is hard to come by when talking about early years settings, but Bright Horizons under the management of the manager and her team has been exceptional even in the difficulty of Covid times. Very good communication with parents and my child is happy there. Great outdoors area, good food and hygiene and the activities at the right level. Great nursery all-round

Very good nursery run by caring crew under the manager's stewardship. Staff really care, have good diversity amongst them and get involved in all manner of games and activities. Also have shown good amount of flexibility on the odd occasion we have needed help as parents having being delayed by work at pick up.

Really pleased with how easily our 1-year-old settled into this nursery - staff are great and all take an interest in how he's doing - he seems very comfortable with them as a result. The facilities are great as is the cricket ground in which they're set. Would recommend.

Wonderful nursery! Our daughter is attending since she was 12 months, she settled in easily and she absolutely loves going there. She develops very well and I can see that she is learning a lot there. Thank you!

Wonderful nursery and staff. My daughter loves it and really enjoys it. Great environment with lots of outdoor space. Have recommended to my sister whose son will be starting in September.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. The staff are incredible. They are dedicated to the happiness of the children and their wellbeing. The kids are always happy to arrive in the morning and do so many varied activities. The garden and playing fields are lovely and being away from the polluted air of London is a massive bonus. The chef also deserves a special mention! Thank you all x

Both my children have gone to this nursery and have absolutely thrived there. The location and facilities are amazing and the teachers really care for the children. My two have formed lasting relationships there and their horizons have truly been broadened - being able to explore and experiment as well as have a lot of fun. We've recently moved and I know they're really going to miss all the input and the environment from Bright Horizons.

Excellent nursery. Friendly professional staff. We tried 2 more nurseries in the area prior to Active Learning - there is nothing better out there compare to it!!

Active Learning Crouch End is a lovely nursery. The children are extremely well kept and made to feel at home. The staff give the utmost support to parents and children. They are always doing exciting activities and learning something new. The children are supported to express themselves and at the same time learning through their playing. The location of the nursery is superb - the children are kept away from the pollution and noise of cars and traffic!

Excellent nursery, I trust 100% in them, my first son was there and now my new baby is there, most of them are the same staff, that makes me super happy because I know how they work already, my baby is having fun in this nursery.

A great nursery with a warm and friendly atmosphere thanks to the lovely staff. The art teacher is brilliant and creates really imaginative activities, as does the music teacher. There are also classes in Zumba and street dance that my son loves. The home cooked food is really good and I feel they get healthy balanced meals and snacks. The whole nursery was refurbished recently so it feels fresh and clean. But this hasn’t deterred messy play which the kids all love! It’s one of the more expensive nurseries in the area but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

My son has been at the nursery for over a year, the staff provide an amazing service! Everyone is so caring and each child's individual needs are catered for.

The only potential barrier is the fees, which are very costly (particularly in comparison to other local nurseries) and are due to rise again, making the long-term affordability of sending one or more children there more of a factor to consider.
