My son has been with Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool for 4 months and he is thriving there. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and always happy to offer solutions or ideas. The level of creativity with play/learning is nothing I would be able to achieve at home. I could not recommend this nursery enough, and having friends at other nurseries, I know the level of support we receive is second to none.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review. We are grateful that you took the time out to leave us a review.
The nursery itself is big and spacious with lots of different learning and activity tables. Each day they explore animals, colours, music, emotions etc is really fun and engaging ways. At the end of the day, we get updates with the day's activities and you can always check the app to see what they've eaten, how much of it, how long they slept and nappy updates etc. The outside play space is really big too and the kids love it. It's also worth noting the setting is lovely - by the cricket fields, with access to a car park.
I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. The staff are amazing! The nursery/key workers are all incredibly caring and nurturing and management are professional, efficient and really friendly. Communication with parents is also excellent.
Best things:
1. The manager is amazing and has taken the nursery to a whole new level!
2. Low turnover of a core contingent of staff - many have been there since my daughter started.
3. Lovely bright, airy, clean, organised rooms with huge windows and doors opening up to the garden.
4. Awesome garden with a mini road, shaded areas, mud kitchen etc. and surrounded by greenery at the front.
5. The path to the nursery is great to get to know other parents.
6. Excellent hours for working parents.
7. Fun events like Mother’s Day tea, sports day, yoga sessions for parents and kids.
8. Lessons from a dedicated nursery teacher, for preschoolers.
9. Separate dark, quiet sleeping area for babies.
10. Back up care - they happily took in my baby for 2 weeks whilst our nanny was on holiday!
We tried somewhere else and came crawling back after a few weeks. My daughter is so happy back at Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields!
Highly recommend this fabulous nursery! The setting is wonderful (you can’t see or hear a car whilst at the nursery, which is a rarity in London) and whilst it overlooks the cricket fields to the front, the nursery rooms each have their own age-appropriate wonderful outdoor play areas at the back. The staff at all levels are always there to welcome children and parents/carers with a positive can-do attitude and a warm, friendly smile. The management team have always been very well organised, welcoming and approachable. They know all the children by name and show real care and dedication towards the job. All the children enjoy a whole range of activities and learning and appear to be happy, confident beings. The hours the nursery operate is also a big plus. Lots of hard work goes into ensuring the nursery is kept clean and organised. Great engagement with parents/carers too via a range of well-put-together social events throughout the year.
Excellent childcare, great facilities and learning activities, and caring staff. There is really good feedback on children’s progress and regular updates on activities they have participated in during the day. My kids love it.
My son had been attending the nursery since he was 4 months old. Such a kind, friendly environment where he’s encouraged to develop and play and has made some real connections with other children and teachers. Management much improved, with lots more opportunities to be involved as parents and lovely, family activities like Mother’s Day, afternoon tea, Easter egg hunt and Jubilee party.
Our daughter has blossomed here over the last few years, in difficult times. Both she and us have made some wonderful friends with other parents and the staff are wonderful. We were late choosing, due to being let down by a nanny share and the team managed to squeeze us in and we eventually got the days we wanted.
A clean, tidy well organised environment, a happy staff team and an Efficient Management Team!
I would definitely recommend the nursery.
This is an outstanding nursery and we can't praise it highly enough. Our eldest attended here from July 2016 for 4 years and he absolutely loved it! Our younger son started here in March 2021. Unsurprisingly he struggled with being away from home, having hardly been out of the house for the first year of his life but the staff were beyond amazing in helping him to feel secure and safe and he settled in well and now immensely enjoys going to nursery. He has made strong bonds with the kindhearted staff and has lots of little friends. The outdoor space at the nursery is huge and the room sizes are much larger and well organised compared to any other nursery we have visited. The staff, many have been there for years, are incredibly nuturing so it feels like a second home where you can feel totally relaxed that your child is being cared for by the best. Excellent variety of daily activities and nursery family events so there is a lovely community feel. Very friendly management team too!
I love the brilliant, wow, amazing activities that are planned. The children are well engaged. I will always encourage parents to bring their children here as this nursery proves that they provide an outstanding environment for children to play and learn.
Our daughter just started nursery a month ago and the staff at Bright Horizons has been super helpful in her transitioning time. They have been a real life-saver also during times when she got sick. They truly care about her development and her overall happiness, which makes it much easier for us parents to drop her off, knowing that she is in good hands here.
We could not be happier with Crouch End Fields. My daughter loves going in every morning and always comes home with a smile on her face. The team are fantastic and have created such a welcoming, fun and safe environment for the kids to learn, play and grow. They’ve all been amazing, especially managing through the craziness and constant changes and uncertainty of the last two years.
We have been at this nursery since January 2017 and have loved the care and development of our two children. Many of the staff have been there since the beginning and built brilliant bonds with both the children and their families.
We could not be happier with Crouch End Fields. The staff are just wonderful and our daughter absolutely loves to go there. She talks so fondly of all the staff. We will be very sad when she leaves to go to school. Lovely experience.
Our child started this nursery recently, at the age of three, and we have been impressed with it. The nursery places a focus on the child as an individual and are diligent in ensuring that their needs are met. All staff members are friendly to both parent and child, even if they aren’t a direct carer. When I asked my (now) four-year-old what the best thing about nursery is, they said “I just love nursery.” Says it all!
Our son started at Bright Horizons last summer. We are really pleased with our choice. The staff are all very friendly and have really gone the extra mile to help him settle and accommodate his needs. The app that the nursery uses allows us to keep up to date with how he's getting on each day. There is a free car park which we find extremely useful. The nursery is next to a cricket pitch so it is very green, open and peaceful. The nursery has done a very good job of managing covid - doing their upmost to remain open and doing a very good job of keeping us informed. There has been some staff turnover lately which we were initially concerned about (as we made the decision based in part on our conversation with the previous management team) but we don't have any concerns now having met the new staff. It is expensive so this is the only area that I have marked down - but given the quality I'd still say it represents good value for money.
Lovely setting and staff are very caring and engaging with the kids. It’s just been hard not to go into rooms and see kids interacting. The daily photos on the app help though and they are always busy enjoying various activities. My son is very settled and we have had good experiences with both other children who have attended. I would definitely recommend to others
Both my boys have attended Crouch End Fields and they love it. The staff are warm and caring and genuinely care about the welfare of the children. My 3 year old never complains about going into nursery and has lots of fun with his friends there.
The staff are wonderful, loving and caring for the kids. They have been exceptional during the craziness of the last year. The pictures we get (haven’t been allowed in yet, due to govt rules) show a wide range of fun, interactive and educational activities. Our little one regularly comes home in a change of clothes as he’s been outside getting dirty or inside splashing about - love it!

Meet the Team (2)
I began my Bright Horizons journey in January 2016 as Room Leader at Active Learning West Hampstead and was promoted to Third in Charge shortly after. I have had experience working in all rooms across the nursery and helping to support room leaders to excel in their roles. I then transferred to Active Learning Crouch End in September 2018 after returning from maternity leave to start a new adventure as Deputy Manager.
I have had experience in many different senior roles, such as being Room Leader, Third in Charge and Deputy Manager in other settings. I have also been the Lead SENCO in my past nurseries.
I am passionate about childcare and thrive on providing a safe, educational, home away from home environment where children can learn and develop whilst enjoying their time at nursery. I thoroughly enjoy my interactions with children and will often be found with a group participating in an activity, whilst supporting and motivating my staff team in providing exceptional experiences for the children within our care.
My name is Kashca, and I am the Deputy Manager of Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields. I began my journey with Bright Horizons in 2019. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Paediatric First Aider, and Nursery SEND Co-Ordinator. I have worked in education for 11 years across both primary and Early Years settings.
I achieved my BA Hons Degree in Education Studies, covering areas such as Children’s Thinking Skills and Cognition development to Therapeutic Approaches and how we can support children with Special Educational Needs and disabilities through mediums such as Art and Music.
I thrive working alongside the Local Authority for a great partnership and working alongside other professionals.
I have a passion for developing parent partnerships and strive to ensure children have the best possible start in their lives and ensure both children and staff are happy whilst they are happy at our nursery.
