As always, good service and care, my daughter is very happy here. Big thanks to all the team.
The staff are very enthusiastic about everything they do and I have been very happy with their levels of care and duty towards our son.
If we weren't moving he would be there until school age, the hours also provide flexibility for early starts. He has developed a lot, the last week his health visitor said he was advanced in all areas from gross to fine motor, vocab and soc/EMT. He certainly became a much less fussy eater and I think he gets a better diet there than at home! He is a confident and thriving boy and I believe this is due to the confidence every member of staff instils through appropriate use of praise, encouragement and challenge.

I am the Deputy Manager and the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) at Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery.
I have over 10 years of experience working with children and I hold a level 3 in Child Care and Education.
Before I joined Bright Horizons I was a manager of a smaller nursery, I have experience as a learning support assistant and senior nursery nurse in the primary education sector supporting classroom teachers and children of different ages. My role as a SENCO can be varied - I am responsible for assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I support the identification of children with special educational needs and coordinate provision for them too. I also liaise with parents and with other providers such as outside agencies, educational psychologists, health visitors and speech therapists to ensure we are supporting the children in the best way possible. I create support plans for children and organise tailored activities/interventions to support their development.
My role as Deputy is to assist Terry in providing professional leadership and management of the nursery. I promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children as well as being a role model to other staff to deliver high-quality experiences and care for the children.
