My 3-year-old son recently joined the Bright Horizons nursery, and he has settled in very well. I'm very comfortable and satisfied with the service provided by the staff. They seem to engage young children extremely well, and there are lots of different activities happening which are good for my son's development. The staff here are excellent. I would recommend this nursery to others as it has a friendly, positive and supportive atmosphere.
In particular, the nursery's response to COVID has been incredible. At every step it has put the families' wellbeing first. From safety measures, fees, clear communication and ongoing support with home learning. I can't recommend this nursery more strongly.
Very helpful staff, and good attention to detail. Our son has been there for the last 2+ years and he/we have loved every day of it. A wide range of activities which the staff engage the kids with. Highly recommend.
My child has settled so well. He has made great progress and he comes home every day learning something new. The staff have been amazing and so helpful. I can't wait to see him develop with the nursery.
It is great to see the nursery get a new garden. My daughter loves the outside space. The nursery is going from strength to strength and the management are great and supportive. My daughter loves her room and the staff have really gone above to ensure she is happy and settled. I am so lucky to get my daughter in this nursery.
The staff at Bright Horizons Tooting are absolutely fantastic. I can't praise them enough. Not only are my son's carers in his room some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, but all the nursing staff are also friendly and genuinely fond of my son. Our son took a while to settle in but his keyworker was (and continues to be) so affectionate and loving towards him. She made such a difference. I also had a hug from her every day which was so lovely! Our son has come along so much in his development in the three months he has been at nursery too. I wouldn't hesitate to praise you all. Thank you so much.
I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It has been amazing. I have both my children there and they have loved coming there. The keyworkers they have work with us and are so supportive. I love the new garden too.
As a grandmother, you want to ensure your grandbaby is very well taken care of. Coming into the nursery you can feel the warmth and love from the staff and see their passion for what they do. When visiting it's great to see the activities the children have available and all the resources. The garden space is amazing and very large. The nursery feels very secure and having to bring ID and provide a password to collect made me feel very assured my grandbaby is safe. The management team were very helpful in taking me to the right place and helping with the pushchair which can be tricky.
The management team have been great and been on hand to answer any queries or offer advice when needed. Overall I couldn't be happier with the service.
I have had a great experience coming to the Looking Glass Day Nursery. They are very attentive and on hand to offer support and guidance for a 1st time mum who can be quite anxious. They seem to have a very wide breadth of knowledge and passion for what they do. Coming into the nursery you feel your child will be safe especially when they ask for ID at the front door and ensure you're signed in so they can track the comings and goings. Feel very reassured.
We recently started in Looking Glass and are very happy with the care and support we have received from staff and management.
My son has been at the nursery since he was one and he's now going to school next month, I am very sad as he has had the most amazing experience and has grown and learnt so much. The staff and management are amazing and have made this time at the nursery so special.
So I came to see nursery 3 months ago and I really liked the feel of the environment. I registered right away and have started in August. I must say the best decision I made for my child. The staff and management are very supportive and understandable. My daughter loves her key worker. Also, nursery recently had a garden refurbishment and it looks amazing.
Looking Glass Day Nursery and preschool is an amazing nursery you always feel welcome when you come in and my son always gets greeted when entering his room which makes my son smile. The staff are friendly, professional and have a warming personality which shows through their work with the children. The management is one of a kind always there if you want to talk about any problems and issues I might have as a parent of the nursery and it always gets dealy with and never forgotten. Overall it is an excellent nursery.
My son recently joined this nursery in July. I must say he is really enjoying there. All the staff members are really helpful and professional.
My child has had the best possible start at Looking Glass Day Nursery. The new garden looks amazing and it's great to see the nursery develop. My child is very happy there. She runs in every day with a big smile on her face and I know she is loved and well looked after. I couldn't recommend this nursery more. Best nursery so far.
We intend to keep her at Looking Glass for as long as they'll have her!
Everyone I've met has been so welcoming, always asking questions and listening to what's going on in her life.
Yes, sometimes the administrative side of things is a little chaotic but I feel this is more a company issue (not staff).
The opening hours are brilliant and the garden is massive - a huge plus.
My daughter has learnt so many new skills, made lots of friends and is always engaged in some activity from painting to Yogabugs.
Some staff also offer babysitting (through personal arrangement) and I think this demonstrates just how much they love the children in their care.
Thank you Looking Glass for making her so happy and making my life so much easier.
We are so pleased with Looking Glass! Management were extremely helpful from the onset and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Our son's teachers are loving and caring and extremely professional. I love how everytime I walk into the room they are engaging the children. My son has only been at the nursery for one month and yet he has learned so much. We highly recommend this nursery!
Really lovely and active nursery, actively mindful of care and development, both in present day and future. Highly recommended.
He is developing a great independence thanks to their support. A great team.
Communication from office staff could be better. We were unaware parents were invited to Xmas party for example.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. We welcome all feedback and I will ensure that the Nursery Manager looks into your communication concerns.
Kind Regards.

Meet the Team (2)
Her expertise includes supporting children with SEND, and she is passionate about fostering development and growth. She is excited to be covering maternity leave in the Tooting branch and looks forward to contributing to the team and continuing her journey with Bright Horizons.
I am the Deputy Manager and the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) at Tooting Looking Glass Day Nursery.
Before I joined Bright Horizons I was a manager of a smaller nursery, I have experience as a learning support assistant and senior nursery nurse in the primary education sector supporting classroom teachers and children of different ages. My role as a SENCO can be varied - I am responsible for assessing, planning and monitoring the progress of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). I support the identification of children with special educational needs and coordinate provision for them too. I also liaise with parents and with other providers such as outside agencies, educational psychologists, health visitors and speech therapists to ensure we are supporting the children in the best way possible. I create support plans for children and organise tailored activities/interventions to support their development.
My role as Deputy is to assist Terry in providing professional leadership and management of the nursery. I promote the health, safeguarding and well-being of children as well as being a role model to other staff to deliver high-quality experiences and care for the children.
