Purbrook Day Nursery & Pre-school

Nursery is absolutely lovely all the staff are amazing, my daughter loves it there, she always has an Amazing time she is in, I would recommend it to anyone. It's a very local to ever we live aswell so not to far to go in the morning

My Son started at this nursery just after his first birthday, he settled in really quickly, the staff are amazing and it really is home away from home for him. The breakfasts, lunch and dinners are brilliant and varied. They get up to lots of different activities, including playing outside in the garden. Couldn't recommend this nursery and the staff enough.

My son goes to Purbrook day nursery and we are so pleased with how much he has grown and become more confident and independent. We love hearing about his day and the activities he has joined in with. The staff are so welcoming and helpful.

We're so pleased with The Purbrook Nursery and Pre-school.The staff are warm, caring, and supportive, and our little girl has settled in beautifully. She comes home happy and full of stories every day, and we've noticed her confidence and social skills really growing. A wonderful place for her to learn and thrive.

Both my children went here & loved it. The friendly approachable staff at Purbrook make handovers a quick happy process. I could not have been happier with my daughter's key worker, I really feel like she took the time to get to know my daughter & understand her likes & dislikes. She encouraged her to try new things & helped her to improve on the things she could already do. The key worker is very kind & caring & I felt safe leaving my daughter in her care. Another specific staff member also formed a very special bond with my daughter, my daughter really took a shine to this staff member & I believe she made my daughter's time at nursery so much better by being there. One of my favourite things about the nursery is the cooked meals. Both my Girls enjoyed every meal & tried things they would never have tried at home. One of my daughter's favourites was the Fish Curry. The chef always greets you with a smile & she's a Fantastic Chef. I think the whole team is a credit to the company. It's clear to see how hard they work yet nothing is ever too much trouble.

We love this nursery. All the teachers and managers are very professional. Our child is well taken care of. She has been taught so many things and is ready for pre-school. We don't have to worry because this is the best nursery ever. Friendly, professional, the best and overall great education provided.

Both of my children attended this nursery, my second one only just finished as a school leaver. We will miss the nursery days. My daughter loved going to the nursery and their enviroment is amazing, always had a feel of enchanted and magical. The staff are all very supportive and had a great connection with my daughter. She had learned, had fun and flourished. Her needs were more than met, she is a sensory seeker and she had plenty of sensory opportunities combined with calming spaces to relax.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at nursery . From the moment i walked in, the warm and welcoming environment made me feel completely at ease. The staff are not only highly qualified but also genuinely caring and attentive. It's clear they are passionate about early years education.

My child has blossomed since starting here-developing socially, emotionally, and academically. The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, balancing learning with plenty of fun and creativity. I especially love the regular updates and photos that keep us connected to our child's day.

The communication with parents is excellent, and i always feel informed and involved. The facilities are clean, safe, and stimulating, with a lovely outdoor area that our child adores.

Cannot recommend Purbrook Day Nursery enough, we started in the baby room and are now in the last few months before school. All the staff have been amazing, are consistent, caring and mean that our daughter enjoys going to nursery.

The service from staff plus the facilities, activities and overall grounds are brilliant. We receive through handovers, in depth behavioural reports that detail key skills and progression.

My son has been going to this nursery for a year now and has really come along in his socialising with other children in his age group. He loves the activities and has started to really talk about them in detail at the end of the day. The outdoor areas are great and something my child makes the most of everyday, as well as the ICT resources which is a real treat for them. Staff are so friendly and my son adores his key worker which makes you feel comfortable to leave them there and relax. Overall we are very happy, so much so that our daughter is starting there soon.

Both my children attend this nursery. My eldest has thrived within this setting. The staff are lovely and he has developed lovely relationships with them all. In particular his key worker and he also loves another member of staff who shows so much kindness and care to all the children. My youngest is in the baby room. He loves going to nursery and enjoys the activities. Staff are always kind, friendly and knowledgeable. My sons key worker is amazing.

Our daughter attends twice a week and she loves going to nursery. She loves the staff and the children. She always leaves with a smile on her face, she's well looked after and fed. She always has a range of activities to tell us what she's been doing at the end of a day.

They cook all meals fresh on-site and they are always good quality. They have a good garden space as well as the comfy baby snug room. My toddler is very happy there.

I am always very impressed with the range of activities provided for the children and its clear that thought is always put in to include the children's interests and get them involved. we are very happy with our experience!

They do lots of different activities lots of outdoor time, fire engine visit ,Santa visit, animal visits they have lots going on .. there is always a good friendly atmosphere which is why my twins love coming to this Nursey.

We've always felt like we're dropping her with family members and really feel like the staff values nurture and cares over everything. Plus my daughter always comes home tired and grubby- which we consider signs of a great day! So thank you Helen and Team you are fab.

Our Son has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old and he is now 3. Our daughter also attended the pre-school before she started school. The staff continue to be attentive, caring and always paying very close attention to the children's needs. Our Son enjoys going in and there is a range of varied activities each day. He is also very keen on the meals and apparently regularly asks for seconds. The staff clearly build strong relationships with the children and they enjoy working there. It is lovely to see the bond our son has with his key worker. This year the Christmas fayre was brilliant with lots of festive activities, Santa's Grotto and even 2 real donkeys. We are very much looking forward to the Christmas singalong at the church and can't wait to see what 2025 brings.

Our little ones have both been attending this nursery for around 3 months now, one in Toddlers and one in the Baby Snug. This was the second nursery that we visited but really felt from one open day that this was the setting that we wanted our children to attend. They have both flourished since starting and have created lovely bonds with the staff which have been so nice to witness, particularly their keyworkers. Our little ones are always really happy to be going to nursery and my toddler enjoys telling us all about what she gets up to and who she plays with. The staff seem to be really friendly and caring which helps me feel comfortable with leaving them there. We recently attended the Christmas Fayre and were amazed at the amount of activities that there were for the children to do. Although we were very sad to miss out on the Christmas dinner. We're very happy with the choice that we made to send our babies to this nursery.

My son has been with Purbrook Nursery for just under 2 years, having moved from another local Nursery. His transition was seamless and he settled very well into the setting. The staff have always been so friendly, hard-working and caring. My son has a list of allergies which are challenging to navigate, the staff at the Nursery have been excellent in managing this, keeping our son safe and putting my wife and my minds at rest knowing that he was safe. The setting is well-resourced and our son has always really developed in all aspects from attending this nursery.
