Shoreham Day Nursery & Pre-school

My experience of dropping off and collecting my Granddaughter from this playschool has always been. The staff always welcomes in my Granddaughter with her name and a smile. My Granddaughter has been attending this playschool since September 25. And she has continued to thrive. She always go in happily and come out the same. Which ever staff member brings her out to me, always tells me how she has been what she has done. Also let's me know what she has eaten. I would totally recommend this playschool. They really work with the children to bring them on in every level. If ever you need to speak to them about anything. They always deal with it in a professional manner. This shows that they have excellent staff right from the Management to the newest staff member. I feel that my Granddaughter is in safe hands when I drop her off at the playschool. You couldn't wish for a better start for your child/grandchild.

I love the child-led approach and how much time the children spend outdoors exploring and learning. My toddler has been attending since January and absolutely loves it. He is always happy to go in and comes home excited to tell us about his day.

I sent my son to Shoreham Day Nursery since he was 9 months old and he's now just over 2. When sending him at first, we were very supported and had some useful settle in sessions. The staff got to know my son really well and he was so happy there.

Now in the toddler room and he is still thriving. Naturally with a group of toddlers there are sometimes learning experiences and behaviours that arise. The staff have worked collaboratively with us to ensure my son is happy and comfortable.

My daughter has attended Shoreham Day Nursery since January and is absolutely loving it ! Staff are lovely and her speech has come along so well since joining! Can't wait to see her thrive even more !

I absolutely love this nursery. Everyone is so friendly and caring. My daughter adores everyone who cares for her, which for me, says it all! My son also attended this nursery and runs back in to say hello regularly! Highly recommend!

This nursery is great, my son has been attending this nursery for just over a year now and I can't fault them. Megan his key worker is amazing with him, Terri the manager is always there when I need reassurance, she goes above and beyond every time. Shes a star. His speech has come on leaps and bounds since he first started and that's down to all the girls involved with him. When I leave him I know he is well cared for and he is happy.

My daughter has attended this nursery since April 2024, first in the baby snug and now in the toddler room. My daughter took a little while to settle in, but the staff were so supportive, especially Millie, who did everything she could to get my daughter to feel happy and comfortable. Now she is absolutely thriving in the toddler room. She loves the big garden and having the independence to choose where she goes and what she plays with. She loves telling us about her day and even makes her dad play nursery with her, "dropping him off, getting him breakfast and playing inn the garden". I'm so happy we chose to send her here.

Absolutely love sending Amelia here, the staff are lovely, caring & very helpful, she has been in baby snug for just under 1 year and she has learnt so much. She absolutely adores her key worker Kerry that is very nice to see. Thank you Shoreham team x

It's been amazing to watch her thrive both socially and academically. Her communication skills have improved greatly, she's showing a strong curiosity for learning, and her enthusiasm for coming in each day speaks volumes about the nurturing environment created by the staff.

My son has been attending since January and he has absolutely bloomed! His speech has come along amazing. The staff are amazing, I couldn't ask for better people to be looking after my boy! They're so caring and show true passion for their work!

Since my daughter has started in the baby room in November she has already in a short few months come such a long way in her development. Her key worker is great with her and I know my daughter is in the best care with her as they have such a lovely bond. The other ladies are amazing too, they are always there checking in and answering any questions when needed. It really shows how much the staff care about the children and parents.

My son has been attending from the term after his second birthday and we as a family have had a long wait for a referral due to speech delays etc and have had a diagnosis of duchenne muscular dystrophy in the mix as well! Although we are still waiting on the other referral, the staff have always been so supportive not only to our son but to us as a family too and little one has come on leaps and bounds since he started attending. Great setting for any child regardless of needs! The garden is definitely my sons favourite place to be.

My son loves being outside and the fact they have such a big outdoor space is such a great feature that he benefits from every day.

Both my children have attended this nursery, and my oldest is now thriving in reception which I believe is due to the amazing staff at nursery preparing him so well for school. My youngest bounces in in the mornings, saying the staff are all her best friends. My children have always loved it here and I couldn't be happier!

My twin sons have attended Shoreham Day Nursery since February 2022, and I can honestly say the staff have been incredible and so supportive of our boys every step of the way. One in particular has helped us navigate the world of SEND, and honestly, I don't know how we would have gotten through the process of obtaining an EHCP without her. I would wholeheartedly recommend Shoreham Day Nursery to any parent due to the caring nature of the team, the effort they put in, and the lovely amount of outside space that the nursery has to offer, but particularly to parents of SEND children, as their knowledge and support has been invaluable.

The toddler room has been a fantastic space for my granddaughter's growth and development. I've noticed incredible improvements in her social, cognitive, and physical skills. The structured environment, filled with engaging activities, has helped her gain confidence in exploring new things and interacting with other children. The staff take the time to understand my granddaughter's needs. They have made this such a positive experience for her, and I'm so grateful for their dedication. Two members of staff in particular have been absolutely amazing in making the settling-in process for my granddaughter smooth and reassuring for both her and us. From the very beginning, they've shown genuine warmth and care, creating a comforting environment that puts our minds at ease. Their constant communication and thoughtful updates helped us feel connected and confident that she was in the best hands. Their patience and understanding, especially during those early, emotional days, have made all the difference.

My niece has been attending Shoreham Day Nursery and Pre-school for some time now and I can't believe the developmental change in her. When starting she had very little language but now she is non-stop talking, the nursery support the family while the challenge of potty training occurred giving great advice and tips! I can clearly see the positive relationships she has created at the nursery with staff and children. Mainly the manager and another staff member in particular she always looks forward to seeing. The staff are clearly dedicated to my niece's learning, always explaining what she has been doing for the day and giving ideas on how her learning can be incorporated at home too.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since Oct 2023. She is currently going through a CDC referral and I honestly couldn’t fault this nursery with supporting her needs. Everyone on the staff is very welcoming, and the manager of this nursery goes above and beyond to support the children. She also takes a great time around pick-up time to discuss the day they have had, which I think is really important. The nursery itself has a wonderful garden and there is also lots of sensory play facilities inside and out which my daughter thoroughly enjoys.

Shoreham Day Nursery and pre-school have gone above and beyond supporting my son. He joined the nursery when he was 2 and will be leaving soon to go to school. I have truly never met such passionate individuals who want what is best for the children but are also there for us as parents with any advice and support we may need. I am truly thankful that my son got to go to this nursery and had the best start for his future. He is also a typical boy and loves to be outside, the garden is amazing!

Fantastic nursery, the manager is a star couldn’t have asked for a better person to be in charge of the staff at the nursery, they are brilliant human beings, they always hand over so well and explain what my child has done throughout the day. I am extremely confident that the needs of my child are being met every single day and most importantly I trust them with my child. I love Shoreham Day Nursery.
