Shooting Stars Nursery & Preschool Tettenhall opened in January 2026, welcoming families into a beautifully refurbished setting within a prominent Victorian building on Tettenhall Road - one of the key routes into Wolverhampton City Centre. With excellent transport links and convenient nearby amenities, the nursery offers an ideal location for local families and commuters.

The nursery accommodates up to 85 children across four thoughtfully designed base rooms for babies, pre-toddlers, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. Each room features high-quality Community Play furnishings and stimulating educational resources, creating inviting spaces that evolve with the children as they grow. This nurturing environment supports smooth transitions through each age group and helps build confidence as children prepare for school.

The historic property has undergone a full transformation, carefully preserving charming original features such as high ceilings and ornate cornicing while introducing modern upgrades including energy-efficient lighting and climate control systems. Outdoor learning is enriched through a landscaped main garden and a secure, sensory-rich, crawl-out Baby Garden, giving even the youngest children safe and meaningful access to fresh air and exploration.

Children benefit from a well-balanced curriculum that blends child-initiated exploration with purposeful adult-guided learning, fully aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Strong parent partnerships are supported through ParentCam, a secure livestream CCTV system, and the dedicated nursery app, which offers daily updates, photos, and key information.

Fresh, nutritious meals and snacks are prepared on-site each day by the nursery cook. The Baby and Pretoddler rooms enjoy ground floor direct access to the outdoor areas, ensuring regular opportunities for outdoor play and sensory experiences as part of their daily routine.
