My son started the nursery when he was 9 months old in the baby room, he is now starting his transition to the pre-toddlers room.
From day one, the staff have been amazing with him, they know him inside out. They show a real care for him and you can just tell they adore him like one of their own - Not just the staff in baby room but managers, the chef, the staff who don't even work directly with him!!
The handovers from the baby room staff are always detailed and honest. He loves coming to nursery every day!

Any minor issues raised have always been dealt with immediately.

My two children both attend Shooting Stars Kings Norton and they continue to develop and grow everyday. All staff genuinely have the greatest care and consideration for our children.

Our oldest is 2 and is in preschool and is well on her way to reading and beginning to attempt writing. Her language and confidence is brilliant and this is encouraged fully by the staff.

Our youngest is 1 and in the baby room. Their hand overs are thorough and honestly our baby is thriving and loving every moment!

Selina, Cara, Annie, Chloe, Nadia, Jo, Amy, Haleeka, Riffat are major shout outs for us. And Chef Violetta who works so hard to provide tasty, nutritious food that out kids love!

My baby has just started using Shooting Stars and I am so pleased we decided to send him here. Every single member of staff I've spoke to is kind friendly and knowledgeable. They're all so attentive and supportive. As a first time mum using a nursery for the first time, I didn't know everything needed and all the team helped me and my baby settle in well. Would recommend!

My child has been with Shooting Stars for 6 months now and the progress he has made is phenomenal. The staff work so hard with him to ensure he is always able to achieve his personal best. The staff always provide very informed feedback at the end of each day. The use of their app to show events throughout the day is always useful as well as the option to log in to the cameras providing transparent care. My baby is about to start at the nursery also and I have every confidence he will thrive from the very beginning. I honestly can't recommend this nursery enough.

My son started in the baby room and is now in the toddler room. The staff have always shown him real affection and warmth, which has helped him settle and thrive at this nursery. Like anywhere, staff changes do happen, but we've never had any issues during transitions. The management team - especially the deputy manager - has been excellent. Whenever we've raised a concern or had a query, they've been supportive and responded promptly. I would happily recommend this nursery. Keep up the great work!

I used to rave about this Nursery and recommended it regularly to friends and family. My two children attended since 2019. I have since chosen to take my son out for pre school. Historically, communication used to be a priority, handovers from key workers used to be excellent and responses from management fantastic. However, there has been a high number turnover of staff including management. Unfortunately in my opinion, standards have slipped. In recent times I have had to contact the nursery for missed sunscreen application resulting in burns, lack of sun hats being worn upon collection on hot days. Limited handover knowledge from agency staff. Events can also also often be last minute making it difficult for working parents to arrange. Despite my son attending the nursery for nearly four years no one acknowledged his last day either which is a shame and shows the limited knowledge current staff have of attending children. Such a shame- hope it can return to it former glory soon

Nice nursery need to work on the cameras and actually updating the app and I was told to bring in a book for world book day to which the kids would be swapping but when I asked staff they didn't seem to have a clue what I was on about and instead told me to pick a book from the reception.

Our daughter began in January of this year. The staff and managers have been receptive to our queries regarding her eating habits, how they approached this, when we have asked her to be changed as she dribbles a lot (teething) etc. We have been reassured by the baby room team as they have listened to my concerns and then acted upon them.
Our daughter has formed strong bonds with two members of staff in particular and loves being greeted at the door by them. If she is upset, they play with her, and she enjoys different activities throughout the day. They also know her routine and try to pay attention to her individual needs.
The nursery cam is a huge pull factor as you can see how your baby is doing during the day. The

managers are approachable and listen, this was crucial for us. The manager listens to you, and the deputy manager is an asset to the company.

My son is 2 and started at the nursery in September. His older brother attended the nursery and preschool previously and had a great experience so we were keen for our youngest son to go too. The nursery was great with making my son feel welcome at the settling-in sessions and he loves going to nursery. The staff are fantastic, my son enjoys the food, and there are great resources. I get a regular update on how his day has gone which helps keep me informed. The communication with the nursery is great.

Shooting Stars Nursery has been an amazing place for our little one, who started there at 9 months old and is now nearly 2. From the very beginning, we've been so impressed by the care and dedication of the staff. They are brilliant-warm, communicative, and genuinely invested in the children's happiness and development.
Our son absolutely loves the food and happily eats every meal they prepare, which is a testament to the quality and variety they provide. The nursery is also packed with fantastic resources and has a wonderful outdoor space that encourages play and exploration.

What really stands out are the extracurricular events they organize, which add so much fun and enrichment to the children's experience. It's clear that Shooting Stars goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. We couldn't be happier with our choice and highly recommend it to other families!

My son started at Shooting Stars in early summer and I have nothing but positive feedback for the staff here! From the second we were welcomed at the front door by smiley friendly managers to when we collected from staff at the end of the day, we experienced nothing but positivity! I was so nervous about him settling and even when it was tough and he was upset, the staff were so encouraging. He absolutely loves nursery now. The settling-in period is so well supported and has really paid off. All of the staff we have encountered have been warm and welcoming. He gets to experience so many lovely activities here. The food is varied and must be tasty as he eats a lot of it. Thank you for a brilliant first few months and we look forward to our journey here watching our little boy develop! Thank you for taking such good care of him.

Lovely nursery, my son has gone there since he was 5 months old and is now nearly 3, the development and relationships he has made since being at the nursery are all to do with the great facilities, staff and care that our children get when they attend, something we couldn't provide in quite such a way at home. The focus on development, care, fun and involvement is great, each milestone has been fully supported by the nursery. What is most pleasing and necessary is the inclusion, the nursery is so inclusive, aware of being able to cater for all diversities and is a safe environment for both children and parents to be themselves, feel we have been treated as individuals and our specific needs taken care of.

My daughter has been there just over a year now and she absolutely loves going to nursery! She has built good rapport with staff and from my observation they interact really well. I have found management and staff are approachable and respond quickly to any queries I’ve had. The use of the online log is great and love the fact that you can check in via the webcam at any time in the day (when your child is there) and see her having lots of fun in nursery!

I never have any worries when leaving my daughter here, she loves it, I know she’s safe and very well looked after!
