Overall Experience

- Overall, we are pleased with how our daughter is developing.
- Outside space for children could do with some updating.
- Food selection is good, but we have noticed the desserts have become more basic.

Overall Experience

My son attends the preschool, and I was quite anxious about sending him at first. However, the entire Mama Bears Midvale team have been incredible in supporting this transition - both for my son, who absolutely loves it there, and for me, making sure I feel comfortable and supported every step of the

way.

The staff are amazing with my little boy, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting for him. His speech has come on so much since joining, and the team have been wonderfully attentive to his eczema, medications, and dietary needs. They also provide so many wonderful opportunities for learning - from creative arts and crafts, to exploring different textures, and enjoying outdoor adventures.

I'm so grateful to see my son thriving in such a caring, nurturing environment. I truly cannot thank the staff enough for their ongoing dedication and support.

Overall Experience

Well, where do I start with Mama Bears on midvale road. My eldest son attended this preschool from the age of two until he was ready for big school, and the exceptional, caring, loving care he received was out of this world. He displayed some advanced learning and the nursery created a lovely plan to

help push my sons learning so he was definitely ready to start reception. Throughout the time I got pregnant with my second son, the nursery demonstrated a level of care that I still hold extremely close to my heart, I had my baby very early and was extremely pooorly, but the preschool was there. They helped in more ways that I could imagine. Because midvale road staff showed this extraordinary dedication it was solidified that my baby would also attend mama bears. So at the age of two, little Fred started, and we will never look back. Professionalism with his meds, love for him, care for him, you're my hero's.YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!!! THANKYOU!

Overall Experience

Staff & management are very friendly, welcoming and approachable. Always come in to an lovely clean space with lots of toys and activities available. Food always smells great whilst cooking away when dropping off and they have a good variety of meals/snacks throughout the day. The only negative I can

voice is that sometimes the app is not updated until the very end of the day once collected. However I know my child is safe and well looked after in there care and this just means that the staff are not constantly on a ipad etc logging events which is a positive. The most important thing is that my child is well cared for throughout his time spent there. The staff genuinely care about you and your child and have a great relationship with the regular staff I see. I would recommend mama bears, long road to anyone asking.

Overall Experience

I did a lot of research to find the best nursery for my son to attend in Torquay, and Mama Bears has not disappointed. The nursery practitioners clearly love what they do, and I can see how much they care about my son when they tell me about his day. They are extremely communicative, and I get regular

updates on nappy changes, meals, nap times and snapshots of what he's been up to. It took a couple of weeks for him to settle as he's only a year old, but now he absolutely loves going, and barely looks back as he puts his arms out for his key worker. I highly recommend Mama Bears, Torquay!

Overall Experience

This is a wonderful nursery, my 1 year old currently attends and my 4 year old has just left for primary school and both have been so happy there. All the staff are wonderful, Vicky and the team are so friendly, welcoming and care for the children so well. The baby room team are so nurturing and caring

and do such great activities with the little ones. And all the staff in the big room prepared my daughter so well for the transition to school. The app is fantastic, the staff upload all the daily info on food, sleep, nappies and I really love the photos and updates on their developmental progress. I highly recommend Mama Bears Torquay.

Both of my boys attended this nursery, and I couldn't be happier with the experience they had. From day one, the staff at every level were absolutely amazing - caring, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to each child's development. There was always a wonderful variety of activities and learning opportunities

that kept the boys engaged, curious, and excited to go in every day. The nursery played such a big role in shaping who they are today - confident, kind, and ready to take on new challenges. The team helped make their transition to school completely seamless, and for that I'll always be grateful. Everyone at Mama Bear Nursery is so friendly and really makes you and your child feel welcome and at ease. We would highly recommend this setting. Our daughter has made so many friends. Well, what can I say!
Mama bears at midvale road, have amazed me! They have not only been amazing for my son & his development, but also for me & my anxiety! After a bad experience elsewhere, I was so anxious when starting my son at Mama bears, but that soon all faded away with their constant

support & reassurance! All the staff there are lovely! Always greeting me & my son & have a good chat! I feel like we are part of an extending family. I couldn't want more for our family! They really are amazing & I am also recommending them and can't speak highly enough of them. The best decision we ever made as a family was to put our son in the amazing hands of mama bears, midvale road.

Amazing nursery, I was very worried about sending my little boy to nursery and had viewed several ones and mamabears was by far the one I felt most safe and comfortable to send him too it's not the closest to me but I'd rather drive the extra to send my son to a better nursery then just one that's close,

I call them up anytime to check on my little one and they're amazing and if there are ever any problems they sort it right away and they're amazing are very good with safeguarding the nursery is based in a street out the way which I prefer as some are right on main roads. My little one is very shy and sensitive and has settled in so well and has very close relationships with the staff, genuinely couldn't recommend a better nursery and I will send my future children to this nursery also.

There are so many negative discussions around sending your baby to nursery but we experienced only positives.

We as a family absolutely love Mama Bear's Day Nursery Fortview! Our daughter has been there since she was ten months old and is now almost three. She has been in each of the rooms and has loved every moment in there! The kids have lots of activities to do in doors and outdoors, they interact with kids

their own age as well as older and younger, and interact with all members of staff! My child eats all sorts of things due to a variety of different meals and snacks on the menu and is hitting all targets that she should be according to the government. I couldn't recommend Mama Bear's more to people.

My daughter attended this setting from 8 months old until she was almost three years. We were initially really happy with the care that my daughter received while she was in the baby room (low staffing ratio). However when she transitioned to the toddler room, we found that she would come home filthy

and on occasion with a mystery scratch or two.
It took almost a year for the nursery to replace the flooring in the baby room. When my crawling daughter would crawl on their floors she would come home with black socks and knees.
They also charge £1.95 per hour for parents to use their childcare hours, which feels like a punishment for working parents and would have meant that if we wanted to use them we would have to pay more which is ridiculous.
When confronted with the above the manager is defensive and made snidey comments which is a shame because all of the girls that work there are lovely! Especially four specific members of staff. We miss you! But not the grotty nursery.

My little boy has been going to Mama Bear's Day Nursery for 2 years, since he was 18 months old. His little brother, aged almost 2, has been going since 11 months old. They both have very good attachments to their key workers and the other staff. I experience both kinds of drop offs on a daily basis

- one child with separation anxiety who often cries at drop off, and the other who happily goes off without looking back - and they are both welcomed with warm hugs, and 5 minutes later they are both always laughing and smiling when I look through the window. The manager, is absolutely brilliant and has helped us out no end with all sorts of work related childcare problems we have, and always goes the extra mile - even replying to emails at 10pm about arranging extra sessions etc! I wholeheartedly recommend Mama Bears.

Our daughter recently started at this nursery and every team member has been so welcoming. They've spent time getting to know us as parents and our daughter too. We feel really confident that she's being well looked after and love all the new foods she's been trying and toys too. We love the daily updates
