Purple Jay has been incredibly good for our son's development and growth, socially and mentally. Activities are great, and the staff are very caring, helpful, lovely, and professional in their field of work. The development of my son since he joined Purple Jay has been rapid and progressive. I will be very happy to recommend Purple Jay Nursery to any member of our family or friends. We're so grateful for the good job done so far. God bless you all.

Regards.

The nursery environment is safe for the child and all who look after the child while away in the nursery. Great learning space for child development and growth. The staff are very friendly to the child and parents including grandparents. We get updates online and in person while picking up or dropping the child to school. Great reports on child welfare and development. Overall the great nursery manager who ensures all things work together well for the welfare and safeguarding of the child both in and outside of the nursery. Excellent!

Very happy with this nursery. The staff are all lovely and attentive and my child is very engaged and excited to go into nursery in the mornings.
Fun gardens, activities, and spaces inside for her to play.

We have sent two children to Purple Jay Lambeth. It's a nurturing place with good outdoor space and friendly, kind staff who seem to enjoy their jobs. Staff turnover, which can be a problem in central London, is not too bad. The activities are varied and well-pitched for each age group, and both my children have developed exceptionally in terms of social skills, behaviour, and concentration while attending the nursery. They are good at sending pictures and communicating over the app, and the food is healthy and toddler-friendly. It also has a real sense of community with regular events like barbeques and sports days.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, as you say staff retention can be difficult in central London, however, we have been really pleased to have a consistent staff team for some time now. It is really positive to hear that the communication via the App has been good and you can see photos of what your children have been doing while at the nursery.

Overall Experience

When we went on our first viewing of the nursery 2 years ago, I was amazed by the welcoming approach by the staff giving me the confidence that my child will be in good hands and I was right. The staff are brilliant, my son loves them all. They are so positive and lovable. They teach the children to have good manners, to respect their friends and the adults and to have good sharing. My son had difficulties with speaking and eating and we were working together to improve that. He had one-on-one sessions with one of the senior member staff at the nursery and we continued working at home, with advice from languages and speech therapists. He had brilliant results. With the help of the staff members, he started eating more things. They were really, really patient with him, as he had a lot of tantrums at the beginning. My son will be starting reception and all I can say is thank you Purley Jay for the excellent care and all that you have taught him. We are so happy.

Purple Jay is an amazing nursery. All of the staff are exceptional, they care deeply about all of the children and go above and beyond to ensure that all children make progress. Staff ensure that they know everything about the children down to their likes and dislikes. My son loves going to nursery every day. He has a special bond with most of the teachers as they take a real interest in him.

My daughter is very happy at Purple Jay Lambeth and extremely fond of both the staff and her peers. We were initially attracted by the outdoor space, which they use a lot, and are also particularly please with the low staff turnover.

We feel the nursery is well run and they have coped extremely well during Covid. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery.

When we moved to the UK, our biggest concern was the children's daycare as our daughter was only 8 months old. We looked around our area and Purple Jay Nursery was one of many we have seen. It is, to say the least, that dealing with parents is excellent and then onboarding our daughter to the nursery was managed excellently by the staff. There are always activities to teach children different things ranging from sharing to simply behaviour. The team is always helpful and supportive in all of our questions and they always go over and beyond. Lastly, the price, this is by far the best place for service provided around London Zone 1.
