Located just opposite the Royal Berkshire Hospital, the beautiful new N Family Club nursery is set in an impressive period property. N Family Club specialise in sensitively restoring buildings so that they remain full of character, while being purpose-built to provide modern learning environments that support the delivery of N's bespoke early years curriculum.

The Reading nursery features a large garden that comes complete with an adventure playground, messy play spaces, a sandpit and plenty of space for outdoor games and learning. To support children as they unleash their creativity, there is a specialist art and cooking room. The playrooms are bright and spacious, and are flooded with natural light. There is a dedicated parent area, featuring a breakfast bar serving fresh coffee each morning, and a large car park perfect for commuting parents.

N Family Club are striving to rethink early years, offering a fresh educational outlook to prepare children for life in the modern world. They were named the UK's highest quality nursery group by Nursery World in 2023, and believe that their approach to early years education supports children to become curious explorers, life-long learners and critical thinkers. The bespoke curriculum that is delivered every day through play-based experiences is designed to be unique to each child, based on their development and their interests.

Laura Matthews, former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver, has also partnered with N to ensure that the balanced, nutritious menu supports every child’s developmental needs. In-house chefs prepare fresh meals every day in the nursery café kitchen.

My grandson is extremely happy at the nursery. The staff are amazing. Keeping us updated daily with photos of what he is up to. It’s a very professional set-up. I feel very confident in recommending the nursery. The weekly menu sounds fantastic. I would love to eat there! I’m hoping the chef starts

I would highly recommend this nursery with the kind of effort all the staff members put into caring for my baby and helping her settle in the nursery. I would rate the quality of food, food menu varieties and cleanliness at the nursery as the highest.

We absolutely love N Family in Reading. It is a wonderful environment, they have fantastic facilities and the food is excellent. All staff are welcoming, helpful and supportive and our little one absolutely loves them. It is so refreshing to see how much they care and how much effort they all make to
know you and your child by name and stop to have a chat. Having your little one start nursery is a daunting time and making sure you have chosen the right place is so important. We could not be happier with our choice and with how well she has settled in. We are already noticing how much she is learning and how much of a positive impact her nursery is having on her development and social confidence. As this nursery hadn't yet opened when we had to secure the place for our child, we were a bit nervous about the choice. But from the very first contact everyone has been very friendly and accommodating and now we feel, we couldn't have found a better place for our son. The nursery has a comparably
big outside space, all the staff we met are really good and create a nice familiar atmosphere on the grounds. The food is prepared by an on-site chef, who creates fantastic-looking menus! There are regular photo updates on what your child is up to, which, especially at the beginning, is very nice but I am still loving them now as well.

Our experience with N Family has been outstanding. We had to find temporary nursery care with them when our daughter's nursery closed unexpectedly. N Family were responsive and supportive from the outset. When we arrived for our visit, we were super impressed by the cleanliness and whole experience
at the nursery, the setting outside in particular is great. Staff have been very warm and put in extra effort to help our daughter settle in quickly.

The nursery offers a dream that every parent have when signing up for a nursery: open space room layout, Montessori toys, and a promise of developmental activities tailored to the age of the child.
Regrettably, our experience with N Family Club Reading was different.
We terminated the contract because
my baby arrived with massive rashes in the diaper area and marks caused by a very tight nappy more than three times. Also marks on his body and they couldn’t tell us what it was. The summaries of his day were limited to a picture of him doing a single activity without explaining how that activity would match his development plan and so more.
We were massively overpromised, ‘cooking’ once a week, get a personal development plan, the extracurricular activities such as Spanish classes, yoga, etc., never happened.
The menu and facilities are excellent, and the staff and reception room are very friendly and helpful.
Maybe other N Nurseries are better. However, Reading nursery still has a lot to learn.

My baby started the nursery when he was a year old. Initially, I was very worried about how he was going to settle in this new environment. The staff were brilliant and kept reassuring all the time. My baby started at N Family in December when she was a year old. She settled in really well and seems to love it. The staff are all super friendly and take excellent care of her. I believe she is learning loads and has been talking a lot more in the last two months, her weaning/eating has also improved
greatly. I couldn’t ask for more from a nursery - thank you to all the staff at N for their excellent care and attention.

This is the nicest nursery we have seen in two years. Everyone is very supportive and professional. Our son is looked after very well and enjoys going every day. My daughter started at N Family Club in September and absolutely loves nursery. She settled quickly and all the adults in the nursery welcomed her by name and seemed to know her really well. I like getting the daily posts and she seems to take part in lots of different exciting activities like yoga
and cooking. She is talking so much more now and learns a lot while she is there. The nursery has a huge outdoor space and the rooms have so much to do and so many resources. We really couldn’t be happier with N Family Club Reading and how friendly it is and we can see how dedicated all the team are.

Everything thus far has been utterly excellent. It has considerably exceeded my expectations in ways I did not even know could happen (I am a bit jealous though of the food my kids don't always eat). Your staff are amazing and how they obviously take pride and care in what they do for the children is
to be commended. If I ruled the world, you guys would be at the top of my list for acknowledgement, praise and a hefty reward. Sadly, I don't, so this insufficient review will have to suffice. With a career in childcare spanning back to 2002, Nadia is not only equipped with an NVQ3 but also holds a Montessori Diploma and a degree in Science. Her passion lies in helping children grow and achieve their full potential! She prioritizes working closely with parents to ensure harmony between home and nursery life. The most rewarding aspect of her role is the joy of seeing a new understanding spark in children's eyes and the pride they feel in their accomplishments. She is a proud parent of two boys and is happily married. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending quality time with friends over meals or enjoying a good movie together.
