Acorn Day Nursery (Rowans)

Facilities are great with the rooms and outdoor spaces. Our daughter frequently goes out on walks too which she seems to really enjoy and we get to see photos and updates via the app, which as parents we really appreciate.

The staff at Acorn Nursery have provided outstanding care for my daughter. As a new mom, it was hard to leave her those first days, but the nursery's compassionate staff put me at ease. My daughter loves spending her days playing and learning with them. I've seen her blossom under their nurturing attention. I'm incredibly grateful for the safe, stimulating environment they've given my little one to explore and develop.

I couldn’t praise this nursery and the wonderful staff even more if I tried! The development in my daughter since attending Rowan’s has rocketed and I couldn’t be more proud of her and couldn’t be more grateful to the lovely staff for helping me and baby! Highly highly recommend it! I will no doubt send my future babies here too! Thank you!

Everyone at the nursery is really friendly. I trust that my child is well cared for. There are always lots of activities going on which keep the children busy and engaged whilst learning. I always pick him up and he is smiling and happy.

Great nursery however unable to comment on ICT as not seen or heard of my son learning this however everything else is great and staff are all amazing. Great meals provided each week, staff always friendly upon pick up and drop off. Always notified of any incidents/accidents.

Trustworthy and nice staff. They are good at taking care of children. I can see alot of improvement with my son. He is now more sociable, and he is fast learning how to talk. He is a picky eater, but he is gradually learning how to eat new things.

The staff at Acorn Day Nursery are lovely. They are always available and provide daily feedback on our daughter's day. We really feel like they know our daughter. They have made the settling-in process easy on our daughter as she has quickly become comfortable with the setting and staff. They regularly upload photos on the app so parents can see what their child did that day.

Amazing staff, always keep you well informed. They have almost all the cultural activities that keep children at such a young age aware of cultural values. Never miss a party they place, especially when parents can join their babies.

My son has settled in great and I truly believe that is thanks to the amazing staff. They are all so passionate about childcare and the best influences for the children they care for. Thank you.

Very friendly, caring, understanding and easy-going staff. Feels like home and my child settled so well and showing lots of improvement in all aspects. Happy to find this nursery as the first place to leave my little one without me.

Excellent staff. Easy to talk with management. Teaching is very good with toy play.

My overall experience at Acorn Day Nursery is that all the staff and management are so caring, they look after the children and really understand their backgrounds. The children really love coming here.

My son started nursery in September and has had the best time! All the staff have made him feel safe and happy. We get regular updates and everyone is always friendly and welcoming, I could not be happier with the care he is getting. 10/10 for him and from us as parents!

We are really happy with Acorn at Rowans. Our daughter recently started attending full-day sessions and we loved the flexibility in the settling-in sessions. We were able to adapt the length and number of sessions to our daughter's needs. Staff have been really thoughtful throughout the process and have put our minds at ease. Having the app available enabled us to keep in touch with her activities.

Our child absolutely loves coming to Rowans nursery. He even does a little happy dance in the morning on his way in. The nursery staff are so caring and supportive. We are regularly kept up to date with our child's development. The staff are great at keeping us informed on the app. We always know how much he has eaten etc. There are daily photos uploaded with a description of the activities from the day.

Since starting at Acorns I've noticed a huge improvement in my son's speech and understanding. He has also gained confidence, I've put this down to the wonderful, nurturing environment and the amazing staff. Always welcoming and personable, I couldn't ask for a better place for my child to spend time.

Lovely staff, main thing is my children love it. So what's good for them is good for me.

The nursery is fantastic. I have complete confidence in every member of staff. The staff are supportive not only of the children but of parents too. Acorn is a friendly, positive environment and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They continuously go above and beyond. They also work with you and listen to any problems or issues. Staff feel more like friends where nothing is too much for them.
