Acorn Day Nursery (Rowans)

Acorn Rowans has been great for my son. His development has been really apparent in a short space of time. The team are super friendly and easy to talk to. It's exciting to think that he might spend the next 3 years here until school.

I am so glad we found this nursery for my son. He comes home happy from the nursery and has really opened up socially. They have such a great staff, well trained and experienced, and each one of them takes very good care of the children. If a child is upset or needs more attention, I've seen the staff will spend loads of time just with that child to make him or her feel better. Great care, attention on cleanliness, nutrition and all-round development of children.

Being a first-time mom (and therefore a very nervous one!), I was so anxious about sending my daughter to daycare full time. It was a huge change for both of us. Let me tell you - I am nervous no more! All of the lovely staff at Rowans have made this journey so easy for us - and most importantly, my little girl is growing and developing every single day. She eats well, she sleeps well, and I can track it all on one handy little app. She is talking more, moving so confidently, and I love that she is included with the bigger kids and can learn from them. I know that when I drop her off in the morning, she is safe, loved, and so well cared for. The staff do such an incredible job - and they have fun doing it! Every single day I am reassured that we picked the right place for our daughter to go to daycare. I'll never be able to put into words how grateful I am that we found the perfect fit for our little girl, and therefore, our family.

My son absolutely loves the nursery and doing what he loves best (exploring, climbing, playing in water, and messy play). He always comes home happy and I know he’s had a day full of activities because he’s absolutely knackered and has gone to bed earlier than he ever has and slept through 11 hours each night. Thank you for the loving care you give him!

Acorns feels like a 5-star service with real-time updates via app with photos and updates regarding naps, food, and happy changes, with daily feedback from staff and events, like the Jubilee lunch party. We couldn't ask for more. Their communication is fantastic. I feel very empowered with regard to my child's care, safety and education. Management always has time for me to ask questions and all staff seem knowledgeable and happy to help.

Acorns have been fantastic. The app they use is great and always updated from photos, what they've eaten, nappy changes, naps and accidents. They are brilliant support and always give detailed feedback on pick-up. The staff are lovely, and our children look forward to going to Acorns every day. Thank you, Acorns!

My little girl has been at Rowans for two months and has blossomed in every area. Her social skills, speech, the concentration at story time, drinking from a cup and using a fork. She never wants to leave! It's wonderful seeing her develop while having so much fun. It's clear that the staff care for her and all the children. The staff always have time to talk, and every member of the team made an effort with my daughter from the very first day. Delighted she attends Rowans, a great decision to move her here.

My child has grown so much since Acorn Day Nursery has taken over. He absolutely loves coming into nursery. The staff are always so friendly and professional. The manager takes her time to get to know each individual child.

My child loves going to his nursery. He is always cheerful, cannot wait to get in the door and see all of his friends and to play. Overall happy with all the staff and their ongoing continuous improvements and support.
