We have had such a wonderful experience at Acorn at Rowans. Our little one took a while to settle in after starting nursery. The staff have been so accommodating and not just his key worker but the whole team, offering a range of strategies to help him feel happier and more settled while at nursery. The children get up to all kinds of fab activity - spending lots of time outside including in the forest school , playing, reading and in sensory play. Whenever we drop our child off everyone greets him by name in both the big and small kids rooms which is a testament to the warm, welcoming, family environment at Acorn Rowans that makes you feel comfortable leaving your child in their care!

Both of my children have attended this nursery, and we've had a wonderful experience. My son is now in reception after his time here, and my daughter is currently in the under 2s room. One of our favourite things about this nursery is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff in both room. They are always so nurturing and understanding, making sure they take the time to meet each child's individual needs. I've been particularly impressed with the new garden space for the under 2s, which is a great addition as my daughter loves being outside! I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and engaging environment for their child.

The nursery staff have been amazing since my child first started. He had some trouble settling in and they sent me photos once he had settled. My son now loves going in. Whenever I pick up he is outside which is where he loves to be.

It's a very good place to enrol your child,the teachers are very friendly and helpful. They treat everyone the same, they welcome you well and make sure your child settles in( sometimes when you drop your child at nursery they begin to cry).

A nursery where your child can flourish, learn and explore in ways beyond imaginable. From home visits to adaptive support, mine and my child's needs are always met. The staff bring a warm manner of which my daughter knows each and every one of them by name. Her connection with each is reflected in her insisting to individually high five every staff member (often more than once) before we leave - extending beyond the staff that work in her room. Staff are attentive to the needs of each child. My daughter loves all the messy indoor and outdoor activities. She learns endlessly from how birds are fed, to what defines autumn. Her imagination is always encouraged from artistic exploration of imagery and nature. From creating stories from the clouds in the sky to exploring her senses in lemon scented play dough, a true foundation for creative development is provided. But most importantly love and care with warm cuddles and reassurances are always found to ease her days. Thank you all.

My 13 month old daughter has been with Acorn @ Rowans for a little over a month. As she has only been there a short while, she is only just fully settling in as expected. Her key person is great with her and always gives detailed feedback about how her day went in person and on the app. Staff are friendly and always welcoming, it's a lovely nursery with great potential to be even better .

My son started halfway through September and the staff have been wonderful and made sure he is settled in and comfortable! They've very informative with any bumps and bruises (my son is 16 months and just entering the exploring things out his reach phase!) they called me five minutes after it happened and left a voicemail to advise he was fine after a cuddle and a snack. Neave, Rebecca, Georgie and Steph have all been lovely and I appreciate them all so much! They're doing a blinding job not only putting my son at ease but myself aswell! I also wanna shout out the admin team who always reply rapidly and answer my questions no matter how silly!

I am incredibly happy with Acorn at Rowans nursery. The staff are exceptionally kind, caring, and always available to help and answer any questions. The nursery's mobile app is a fantastic and helpful tool. It allows me to see all the important details of my son's day in one place, including what he ate, how long he slept, and his daily activities. I especially appreciate the developmental progress updates, which provide great insight into his growth. The nursery itself is beautifully designed with various play zones. My one year old son is always happy and content when I pick him up, which is the best reassurance a parent can have. Also the staff successfully taught him how to drink water from a cup, something I was struggling with at home. I was initially hesitant about sending my child to nursery at such a young age, but Acorn at Rowans has been instrumental in helping him thrive.

We're so happy with the progress our daughter has made in just 4 months. She's grown so much in confidence, language, and social skills, and she absolutely loves the staff, often talking about them at home. The team is incredibly caring and nurturing, and we can see how invested they are in each child's development. It's such a relief knowing she's in such good hands, and we're excited to watch her continue to thrive in their care

I participated in a stay and play on Monday! My first real time getting to see the nursery and all of the staff! What and amazing bunch of people you have working there! The care they give for my little girl is second to none! A few stand out members that my little girls obsessed with, but I for one couldn't fault anyone or anything there I feel say knowing my little girl is in great hands! You feel the warmth and love when you enter the building loads of happy little humans growing with the assistance of the staff at Acorns! Thanks again

My daughter started nursery when she was just one year old. At first, it was a challenge for her to settle in, but the nursery staff were incredibly supportive and found gentle ways to help her adjust. Now, she absolutely loves going to school. Every morning she runs into her teachers' arms with a big smile. I also really appreciate the school's app; it keeps us well-informed about her daily activities and progress, which gives us so much peace of mind.

My daughter really love the nursery, she feel safe and happy . All staff member are approachable and looking after the kids very well. Me as a parent I really recommend the nursery to anyone. I always know she is been looking after and her needs. She accomplished load of milestone within the nursery and being more dependent and social. I believe she will really miss the nursery. They always adjust around her needs . Alway have new displays for the kids to expand their knowledge and motor skills

Staff are excellent, really friendly, warm and clearly care about the children. They make sure the nursery feels like a welcoming place from the minute you walk in the door. The children are always engaged in activities and are obviously happy to be there and I feel safe leaving my children there. The only negative is the outdoor space, which is satisfactory but not great.

My child has been with Acorns nursery since I returned to work when he was 11 months old he's 3 now.I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about using them. The staff are AMAZING, extremely supportive and great communication. The food menu is diverse and inclusive (my child has some intolerances). I cannot fault the care and learning my child receives.

Acorn have become like family to me and my son. They are always so welcoming and comforting and ready to listen to any concerns or thoughts I have. I always feel like my son is given the upmost care and this shows by how close he is to quite a few members of staff. Occasionally for work I have had to request to move sessions or a different pick up time and each time it's been done to assist me which I have been very grateful for. As my son is leaving now to attend a school pre-school closer to home we will miss all of the nursery staff.

I have been really pleased with our experience with Rowans. My child settled very well when she was just 10 months old because the staff were so caring, attentive and loving to her. We have been impressed by the improvements made over recent months, including the development of the outdoor garden which our daughter really enjoys. The varied meals on offer are great also as they ensure or daughter is exposed to a regular variety of nutritious foods.

My son is really happy at Acorn Rowans. The staff are lovely and caring and he always comes home smiley and calm. They do a range of fun activities, including lots of things we don't do at home, such as messy play with paints and other concoctions. His development is really coming on and they make an effort to understand his likes and dislikes to tailor his learning experience.

The staff is very nice and helpful with everything. My son love to stay here and he not really wanna back home. He is excited to walk into the nursery he enjoys the forest school garden. And all the messy play.

The ladies at acorns know my child so well. Every day I come in and they tell me something specific he's done or achieved. I love the personal level of care he gets and I really get the feeling he's well loved and taken care of. In fact it looks like all the children are well loved and cared for. I cannot express how much peace this brings to our minds! Thank you for being fabulous.
