The most amazing and caring nursery that gives a home from home environment.
So many lovely activities are done on a daily basis and everyone working there are very approachable and friendly.

My daughter absolutely loves it at nursery. She always looks forward to going and runs in without a second thought. She is developing so well and has developed great relationships. Updates on handover are really good and great to hear what's been happening during the day. So far I couldn't recommend
this nursery any higher if I tried. Thank you.

Lovely nursery, very friendly staff, my daughter loves it and talks about her teachers all the time at home.
The only thing negative I can say from my experience is pick up times can be lengthy, perhaps speeding this up would be great.

Fantastic nursery - well run with plenty of activities for the children. The library by the front door is a nice touch, and the staff are very patient at handover. My son loves it and comes out saying that nursery is fun.

My daughter, I can say, is starting her young life on a good note. The nursery was a fantastic foundation for her. The staff are very kind and compassionate. I will do it all over again.

Very happy with the staff of the nursery and how much my child is supported and cared for. Great food choices every day. My child developed a really strong bond with multiple staff and kids at the nursery. He is excited to go there. Children do a good variety of activities and seem positive and happy
on a pick-up. Staff always provide good updates and happy to chat whenever I have any worries or concerns.

My little boy has been at Chesnut Nursery for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it is unbelievable - very child centred and caring. The attention and care is so wonderful and the staff team have created such a wonderful bond with him already. My older son is at another local nursery and Chesnut
Nursery is head and shoulders above it. Leaving your child with new people is the hardest thing in the world and the biggest reflection of trust and Chesnut Nursery are so understanding.

Absolutely amazing set of staff, very caring and nurturing. Always greeted with a smile and I feel the staff go above and beyond for my child, they definitely meet his emotional needs. I like the fact they don’t have a regular staff turnover like we’ve experienced at other nurseries, it's evident the
staff are happy, my little boy has been able to bond with all staff members and they’ve gotten to know him. He’s flourished since starting at Chestnut Nursery and has enjoyed his nursery days. I would definitely recommend Chestnut Nursery Taverham to friends and family. Thank you girls for taking good care of my little boy, it’s sad to say goodbye as he now transitions to school.

Excellent provision for my son. He has been here for about 15 months, he has learnt and grown so much since being at Chestnut Nursery School. He is happy and confident within himself. We chose this nursery based on location initially but we’ve been so happy with how they run the nursery and my 2-year-old really has a great time. The variety of activities are fabulous, they try lots of different food and work on building relationships with each child individually.

My 2-year-old twins have been with it’s nursery for around six months now. It was a really hard decision to move them from a different setting they were at previously at but didn’t have the availability I needed for my working hours.
I was extremely worried but the twins settled in immediately. I
absolutely love the app which keeps me updated on everything throughout the day. Their routines have been stuck to rigidly which has really helped me at home.
The staff are absolutely amazing and my children come out of nursery with big smiles on their faces every single day. We have a monthly email letting us know about different books they are reading so we can try and give them some continuity at home. It’s amazing to see how much learning they pick up at nursery and have come on leaps and bounds since attending this particular setting. I’m really pleased I found this nursery.
The food is absolutely amazing to a lovely varied fresh menu!

My Daughter started in June 2021 when she was 12 months old, having never been looked after/left with anyone since she was born I was extremely nervous about her starting Nursery 3 days a week. She absolutely LOVES it and that's all down to the amazing staff. She adores the ladies who run the baby room,
they are so loving and caring towards her and I know she's in safe hands. When we arrive in the car park she instantly smiles and claps.
She has developed so much in such a short time and surprises us all the time coming out with new words she learnt or new skills she's developed. I would highly recommend Chestnut Nursery Schools.

Our daughter started Chestnut Nursery Schools @ Taverham at the beginning of 2021, she was eighteen months old and she has come on leaps and bounds. To say she adores nursery is an understatement! She clearly loves her time there. As parents we love getting regular updates during the day on what she’s
eaten and what activities she’s been doing. She always comes home with a huge smile on her face. The staff are lovely, really lovely. They all clearly have a passion for the work they do and they do it very well. We would one hundred percent recommend this nursery.

My daughter has recently started at Chestnut Nursery Schools & Taverham and she absolutely loves it. She loved it from her first settling in session in January and now asks if she’s going to nursery every morning. The staff are all very friendly and always tell you about what they’ve been doing that
day. It’s a bit of a different experience starting a nursery during Covid-19 due to all the restrictions but I feel the staff have made that transition easy.

My son started his Chestnut experience in August 2020 and it has been nothing but brilliant. He is so happy attending here and enjoys the variety of activities on offer. The rooms are clean and well equipped with a variety of toys and resources and there is a great outside area too, which the children
access regularly. It has been amazing to see the progress my son has made over the last six months, as a result of being at this nursery. The staff are wonderful; friendly, caring and accommodating. They will happily answer questions and queries and communication via the app and drop off/pick up times are great. The staff take the time to really get to know your child on an individual basis. I know that my son is safe and well looked after whilst attending here. I was very particular when viewing nurseries (pre covid) and knew, from the minute that I saw this one, it was to be. I highly recommend Chestnut Nursery, Taverham.

My little boy started in January and I can already see positive changes in him. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. If I have any concerns with my little boy, staff keep me well informed all day. I love parentzone, it is a great way to keep me well informed about my little boy with pictures,
activities he's been involved in and new foods he's tried etc. The nursery itself is quite small but well equipped and has everything a child will need and want, the outdoor space is amazing. I look forward to seeing my son outside enjoying it. I'm so glad I chose this nursery, 100% recommend!

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! My son failed to settle in his previous local nursery and it traumatised both of us, and the thought of leaving him somewhere new filled me with dread. But he settled so quickly at Chestnut, due to the amazing and empathetic staff. He loves going to nursery
now and runs off without a second glance. He has thrived since being here and I cannot thank the staff enough.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2019

I began my childcare career in 2012 after having my own family. I qualified with a Diploma Level 3 Early Years Educator. I first became a manager in 2015 in a small village pre-school where my own children attended. I have had a wealth of experience managing different nurseries, being able to help children develop and be fortunate enough to really make a difference to their families too. It is the small achievements the children make that reinstates every day why I chose this career. Seeing a child’s eyes light up when they realise they have built the tallest tower or remembered a nursery rhyme is very special. I have just begun my journey with Chestnut Nursery School and already feel part of a very unique family that always puts the child’s needs first.
