N Jewellery Quarter is conveniently located within Birmingham’s business districts and residential quarters, and is just a 15-minute walk from Birmingham New Street station. Set in a beautiful period building, the nursery was sensitively refurbished in 2022. The space is packed full of features, including huge play rooms, a dedicated pre-school floor, a specialist art room and a family lending library. The large garden space is perfect to explore during regular Forest School-inspired sessions. There is a parents’ breakfast area, a buggy park for those travelling on foot, and a large car park to help make early morning drop offs and after-work pick-ups that little bit easier.

N Family Club know that food is crucial to the development of children, so all meals are prepared fresh on-site and have been designed with the help of the former Head of Nutrition at Jamie Oliver. Parents can also check out The Family Hub: an online platform full of parenting advice as well as favourite N recipes for you to try out at home.

Dedicated to rethinking early years education, N Family Club have developed their own progressive curriculum, building upon the EYFS framework, which has been designed to be bespoke to each child, their needs and interests, and serves to prepare children for life in the modern world. Our daughter began attending N Family Club - JQ when she was just 7 months old, and she is now 15 months. From the outset, the staff have been exceptional in addressing both her developmental needs and our concerns as parents. We receive regular updates on her progress, which helps us stay informed
and involved in her early learning journey.


She eagerly anticipates her time at the nursery each day, enjoying a variety of activities that stimulate her curiosity and foster her growth.


I wholeheartedly recommend N Family Club - JQ for its dedicated staff and commitment to supporting children's developmental milestones. The care and attention provided have been instrumental in our daughter's early development, and we are grateful for the positive impact the nursery has had on her.

Me and wife are really happy our son is at N family.
The updates and pictures on the app give you great information and really put your mind at rest that he's in great hands.
Our son is always so happy at pick up and I couldn't feel more comfortable that he is cared for.
The weekly menu is excellent
and healthy.

We honestly couldn't be happier with this nursery and the amazing staff. Our daughter started when she was just 1, and we were really nervous about how she'd settle since she'd only ever been at home with us. But she adjusted so quickly, and it's clear how much care and attention she gets every day.
Any
time we've had a question or concern, the staff have been kind, understanding, and quick to help. I also have to mention how lovely the management team is - they're always around, super supportive, and genuinely care about the families and children here.

A nice looking nursery, however I would not recommend for any parent who wishes for a transparent and honest nursery that doesn't prioritise company interest over the interests of a child. If your child is placed in the category of 'difficult', then this nursery will do its best to manage your child
out of the setting, by exhausting the parents through pointless meetings and half-truths about your child's behaviour, instead of being forthcoming about their inability to actually do what they are trained for. This is because, they aren't allowed to ask a child to leave (money talks). All of this isn't the fault of the caring staff, but the management and the overall structure of the company. This nursery will be as underhanded as it needs to be to preserve the perfect image that it has curated. There are a lack of direct boundaries with children, and so children are left unprepared for the social challenges of school. Overall, more style than substance. Avoid.

The Pre-Scool Room at this nursery is absolutely amazing! The staff truly care for all children. My daughter is excelling in all aspects of her life due to the teaching. She is confident in her numbers and name-writing, she has also become extremely independent and can now look after her own personal
hygiene. She has an excellent bond with all staff members in the room and is completely ready to start school. My daughter looks forward to attending nursery every day and enjoys learning as the staff always ensures to make it fun and easy for the children to understand. My son has been going to this nursery for over a year. He has been supported by three staff members in particular across three different rooms as he’s developed. Each of them have made the nursery enjoyable and helped considerably with his development (i.e. speech, motor skills, eating, and potty training).

My daughter has been attending N Family Nursery for a year now. She loves going in every morning. The staff are super nice and very friendly. They pay attention to the smallest details and give you feedback every day about your child. They provide different activities and playtime that she finds interesting.

Since the very first day, we felt our daughter was very well looked after. The staff is very caring and she bonded with them very soon. Two members of staff in particular who are her main carers are amazing. They are very attentive and we get a very detailed handover daily when we go to pick her up.
Our daughter loves going to nursery which makes us very happy. It was a great decision to join N Family Club- Jewellery Quarter.

My son has been at N Family Club JQ for just over 6 months now and it has been a great experience for both him and us (parents). He has developed so much in this time by way of speech, actions and both gross and fine motor skills. He is talking a lot more which I know is encouraged through signing and
story time at nursery. He is eating himself now and using cutlery, again encouraged by the nursery. He is well looked after by the staff in the baby room and they all know his personality (likes and dislikes) well. He has formed great relationships with each of the staff members which is lovely to see. The overall nursery itself is safe, clean and well-maintained. The food that is given to children is prepared fresh on site each day and is super healthy, with lots of variety. When my daughter entered nursery school at nine months old, I was fraught with anxiety about leaving her in a nursery setting for the first time. She had never spent much time around adults other than us, or with other children. However, my fears were quickly allayed as she adapted immediately, thanks
to the affectionate and attentive staff. In addition, I have observed significant development in her motor skills, socialization, and communication abilities. What stands out is how well the nursery keeps me informed about the daily activities and how the staff is always eager to share details about her day. The nurturing environment at this nursery has been a source of comfort and joy for both my daughter and me. I am profoundly grateful for the care and expertise of the staff, which have made this important early childhood experience so positive for my daughter. I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to enrol her in this facility.

My son started this nursery in September as my grandson (age 3) and grandaughter (age 2) started in August. I was amazed at how much more vocal they became in 2 months. You can see the staff truly care and love the children and, although there are staff allocated to each room, all staff know the names
of all the children. There is a garden so the children get outdoor time every day (in the warmer months). As my son had just turned 1, I worried that he wouldn't have the same amount of activities as my grandchildren, but I was surprised to see he does. Some nurseries spend a lot of time giving children free play, but from the updates received daily through the nursery app the children are set activities to keep them engaged and to encourage development. I was pleasantly surprised to see an update on the app with pictures of my 1 year old making cookies. I can truly say the staff and nursery are amazing. They have 4 rooms, which are based on age, and the care is consistent in all 4 rooms.

My little one is 10 months old and joined the nursery three months ago. The staff is very friendly and helped us a lot through the first very difficult days. Now my little one is adapted to the environment and she is enjoying the time there. The activities are well designed and entertaining. As for
the food, we would like to see red meat included in the meals because of our baby's increased needs in protein. The app is very helpful to know what she is doing all day. It's a nice environment for my little one when I am at work. She is well taken care of when she is there.

Overall I am very happy with the services and care provided at N Family Jewellery Quarter. I have seen such a big difference on how my child now interacts and communicates with both adults and children and they are learning new things every day. And they have some fun and creative activities that my
little one absolutely loves being a part of. There have been quite a few changes in staffing and the operational side of the nursery in the last 3 months since my child has started attending, but I can already see the progress made by the new management team to ensure that things run smoothly. I have definitely made the right choice by choosing this nursery.

We are happy overall with the quality of the nursery. Teachers are kind and hardworking. Activities are creative and stimulating. Kids feel safe and happy. There are still some areas that could improve like the amount of protein included in meals (not enough some days), the safety of the gate door which
is sometimes broken, and some updates in the app in terms of including meals (sometimes these are forgotten but it is getting better at the moment). Also, when children eat or play with colours they should wear a clothes protector to avoid getting clothes as dirty as they get at the moment. Thanks.

My son has been at N Family Club - Jewellery Quarter since he was 8 months old, he is now 3 and a half years old. He absolutely loves coming every day, the staff are so caring and loving with the kids and we love how they treat them. They plan lovely games with them and they start more curricular activities
as they grow.
All the carers are really nice and kind with the kids and we have peace of mind knowing that our son is in such good hands.

I have worked within the Early Years sector for nearly 6 years now, having initially started out as an Apprentice. I have loved every minute and this year achieved my BA in Early Childhood Studies!


I have a deep passion for delivering high-quality care and education to children with a large focus on supporting each individual child to thrive and flourish. It is important to me, that we see the world through the child's eyes to understand their unique perspectives on simplistic elements of life; encouraging us to slow down and appreciate the natural beauty in everyday moments.
