Shooting Stars Nurseries at Kings Norton

Since joining Shooting Stars Nursery Kings Norton a couple of years ago, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds in confidence thanks to the wonderful staff who have constantly made her feel comfortable and allowed her to take things at her own pace. Now in pre-school, she has a lovely relationship with both teachers and other children.

I have always felt comfortable being able to discuss any of her developments and felt well informed of her progress.

All the staff across the board are welcoming, friendly and professional, and we could not ask for a better experience from a nursery. We will be sad to leave when my daughter starts reception!

Our daughter joined the nursery at 9-months-old, attending two days per week. She absolutely loves her Shooting Stars family and is always bubbling with happiness when we pick her up having had such a lovely day. All of the staff are so nurturing and supportive, and they provide her with so much care, attention and positivity.

We would highly recommend Shooting Stars to anyone looking for a nursery in the area and feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful and happy environment for our daughter.

Our son has been here for a few years now. We have to travel to get here, but it's worth it. He's built such a rapport with the staff and the friends he's made. They constantly push his learning, and his speech and confidence have come a long way. We'd definitely recommend it to others.

My little boy has been attending Shooting Starts for a few years now. I have had so much support from the nursery, and the care they give my little boy is phenomenal. Since Covid 19, we have had to shield due to my little boy awaiting a heart transplant. I’m happy to say we have returned back to nursery now where Covid safe measures have been put in place to keep him and all this children as safe as possible. Such a fun, loving nursery. Nothing is ever too much. I will really miss them when he starts school in Sept. We have been really blessed with excellent care .

Even though he currently only goes once a week, the staff make a point of trying to work with us on our son's development, keeping in touch with us and checking in about what's new development wise at home.

My little boy started Shooting Stars in January. He settled really well and also very quickly due to the staff all being amazing. He has come on so much since starting and loves coming to nursery, even asking to come on his days at home. Would highly recommend it to others.

I would definitely recommend this nursery. My son has been going here since toddler room and is now in preschool, he loves it’s and loves his teachers. He is so clever and learnt so much since being there. I’m so glad I chose this nursery and gutted he will be leaving for school very soon.

Since my son joined in Sept 2020, he has grown and learned so much. The staff are all lovely, and my little one really enjoys it there. Menu choices are always good and diverse. Would definitely recommend this nursery to family and friends.

My daughter has recently joined this nursery, and I am over the moon I found it. From the moment we viewed it, I instantly felt at ease and knew it was the one. The building is modern and light, and they have a lovely garden area.

All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble, and most importantly, my daughter loves going.

The nursery keeps parents updated on all the day to day activities through their app.

My son has been here since November 2020. We have all positive experiences. He has developed healthy relationships with all the staff and other children. I feel reassured with things in places such as the nursery cam and regular updates via the app. I could not recommend a better nursery. Thank you all for your continued hard work.

My little boy has been going to Shooting Stars nursery for almost 2-years, and I can honestly say, it was the best decision we made! I looked at 9 nursery’s in total, and none had a patch on this one, not only is the building and grounds lovely and spotlessly clean, the staff are all amazing and outstanding at what they do. They have worked wonders with my little boy, and I’m going to be very sad when he leaves this year. I have recommended this nursery to family and friends and will continue to recommend it even when my little one leaves. The parent cam in the room really helped me when leaving my son for the first couple of months as I was able to watch him and see what he was doing, it’s great peace of mind. I get updates every day with everything that’s happened that day while my little boy was in nursery and what he has been doing, even down to what they had for tea and how much of it he eats. I would like to thank all the staff at the nursery for doing an amazing job - A****!

We are so thankful to have found this nursery! After a recommendation from a friend with a child here we went for a look around and knew it was where we wanted to send our son. The facilities are great, with spacious and bright rooms, big windows for the children to see the world from, a huge garden with lots of different areas, it's a lovely place to be. The staff are brilliant and attentive, they really get to know each child. To see our boy settle in, make friends and grow in confidence has been amazing!

Lovely staff who work really hard to ensure that the children are cared for and that they progress in their learning. They go above and beyond to provide excellent care, and we appreciate everything they do to make our child feel so happy to go to Shooting Stars. Thank you.

If only all nurseries were like Shooting Stars!

Shooting Stars at Kings Norton has been absolutely amazing for my son who started at three years. The staff are attentive and supportive, their log is updated regularly to show what the kids are up to. Nothing is too much to ask of the staff. Throughout the covid crisis, they have been fabulous in adapting to a stressful situation and making sure the children feel safe and secure. My little boy often comes home and likes to talk about his day in preschool. I feel that he is well looked after and is encouraged to do as many things as possible independently. A good range of activities and learning opportunities are delivered. The food is great and I am updated every day on how well my little one has eaten. Honestly do not think we could have picked a better nursery for our son to attend.

Overall, a very loving and caring environment with approachable staff.

We have recommended the nursery to friends who have also had great experiences.
